TGIF
Woohoo it's Friday!!! Weeeeee. Anyways, school was superduper dopey today hehe. The weather was nice, and classes were cool. Oddly, things seemed to get better as the day progressed. After school Chester dropped Tracy home, then we went to Radio Shack. We then started hunting over in the party and beauty shop, but with no success. Then we played some basketball up at the rec along with Johnny and a CVHS alum that goes to UCD now. After eating dinner, I finished up my personal statement, going through seven drafts and turned in 80% of my applications, all with the deadline today. Only/best thing to do now is to sit tight and wait. Oh. Oh yeah one more thing, damn all those people who go to Stanford and shit and still apply to the lower UCs and end up jacking my spot. They can get on their knees. Here are some quotes:
"Screw now, worry later." -Chester
"A boy first...he can beat up anyone that breaks his sister's heart and protect her." -Liz
Ding Ding Ding
Mills Lane: "Okay girls, let's have a good clean fight. Nothing below the belt, keep the hands above the waist, no biting, eye gauging or kidney shots...Let's get it on!"
Round four just finished. It was too close to call.

Retarded
Exactly what it says. Some things only happen once in a while, while some things you can do whenever the fuck you want any day of the week at anytime. For example 1 AM in the fucking morning. Gone.

Thursday
Well let's see. Today during tutorial we had to practice Requiem in the cafeteria. Yeah we sucked. Oh. Anyways afterwards in physics honors we did a lab where we tried to guess where a weight would land on the ground after launching it with the force of a swing. Simply put, we hit our target exactly for a nice 20/20. During choir period we went to the cafeteria to watch teasers for our school musical, Enter the Woods. It looks pretty cool, but I doubt I'll be motivated enough to go. During the AE meeting at lunch, we picked the day of the week we would be cleaning the courtyard or something. Damn I must say that one chick in particular is damn annoying when she talks. I must say that I now know how the rest of the guys feel when they hear my ass complain. Sorry guys. Damn though, that bia was babbling off the hook. After getting her way and finishing lunch, it was time for MCL class. We had a test in there on chapters one through twelve on our book, which didn't go too bad. Hopefully I did well on that test. After school I saw Willy get harassed for a ride home from some chick. Nuff said. Time to take a nap or something. I leave you now with a quote:
Are there dents in my head? -Nick Chan on who knows what.
Did you knock anyone out today? -Lauren Stower

Cold As Heck
Yep it's been that kind of day today. It was freakin' cold as a mofo. Bah. The weather sucked. Then we had a tutorial rehersal for choir. Then it was cold again. I heard I'm annoying from Government class. During MCL I got interrogated. Then it got really cold. I leave you now with an excerpt of what happened:
"[You just don't like them] because they're short and not loaded." -Chester
"You're not as shallow as I thought." -Trish

Quick Rant
I dunno about you, but starting an intimate relationship based on the common interest of having the same faith/religion bewilders me. No sir I don't understand it. I'm not too sure if there is an actual example of it happening right now, but even if not then it's just my opinion on a random topic. It just seems weird...almost wacked. It jacks someone else who is genuinely interested but has no shot cuz of his beliefs. That's it for now.
On a side note, in one of my classes today, some foo tried to pull a Nick today. They tried to get a free piece with my work. Damn them. Tryin to jack me. Rejected.

Hello All
Well, it's back to normal since our break. I ended up getting 17.5/30 on the AP Stat test we took last week, which due to a curve turned out to be A C. I guess I should sleep only two days a week now in that class. Anyways nothing really has been up, but everyone in choir is now a go for the trip to Disneyland later this year. That should be a gg. Umm, we started debates in government, and I must say it sucks when you have to defend yourself from most of the class, just because they don't agree with me on abortion. All those liberals. Umm, was it cold today? Not really the best weather to spit game in, doh. Looks like we have tutorial rehersals for choir the next two days. Bah. Oh wait, nvm.

What's The Haps
Well, let's see what's been going on lately. Friday morning I got up at 6:40 AM, that's right, AM to go to Best Buy for some fatty sale they had. There I saw Willy, Will, Chester, and Gerald. Well, as expected they didn't have jack left after 25 minutes of the store opening. My brother managed to grab the hdd for me, so that was pretty cool. Unfortunately they didn't have the memory or geforce 3 left. Boo. Also I got a pair of bookshelf speakers, which I eventually returned (read on). After Best Buy I went to the mall, where I eventually met up with Will, Tom, and Rob. Everyone ended getting up something there. That night the same people, plus Jhermaine went over to Will's house where we watched Planet of the Apes and some Michael Jordan special.
Saturday I worked from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Work sucks. But I did happen to run into a few people who I haven't seen in a while, which was pretty cool I guess. After work I went back to Best Buy to return those bookshelf speakers I bought the day before and ended up exchanging them for a pair of different speakers which are more decent than the previous pair. Last night I basically spent watching TV and trying to install and comfigure my hdd out correctly.

Happy Thanksgiving
Yep it's a bit over an hour since turkey day. I hope everyone's was a good as mine. I dunno about your family, but we still have half a bird leftover haha. Anyways yesterday I basically played some CS, watched some TV and worked on my UC application. I basically finished the application. Now I'm just waiting for those last SAT II scores to come back, which hopefully aren't the ones locked in a postoffice in New Jersey infected with anthrax. I also went through three drafts of my personal essay today. Hopefully that gets nailed away very soon. See some of you guys at best buy in 6 hours.

Voodoo Magic of Blind Man Catches Up
Well let's see what happened over the weekend and stuff. On Friday, the guys played some basketball, and that's about it. I don't remember doing anything on Saturday or Sunday, except work, which sucked. One cool thing though, I did pick up a bass light for my from target haha. I didn't even know we had one there. Anyways yesterday proved to be interesting, as I had my tryout for the dance number for our school's pops concert. Let's just say out of a group of 6 people, there were 6 cuts lol. Well maybe 5, but only because one is a freebie. Anyways besides that, yesterday I finished my personal statement, and let's just say it didn't receive approval from my parents. I'll let anyone who wants to read it take a look at it as soon as the deadline passes.

Keep The Days Coming
Well let's see, had another interesting discussion again in AP Environmental Science again, so that was pretty cool. Next followed by another boring, lethargy potential class of AP Statistics. In Physics we did a lab, so that was pretty neat. Nothing really special the rest of the morning. Lunch came around, and it was rather interesting. Damn, someone been slippin the crack in the food. Anyways, in MCL, we had a fishbowl, and Kenny took the seat right next to Christie, as expected lol. Unfortunately, he didn't say anything to contribute, even though Nick was able to pull some stuff out of his ass out of no where. Haha I think that'll do it.

And They Say The First Day Of The Week Sucks
Haha. Well, though most of the time true, sometimes it just isn't. The day started off in AP Environmental Science with an interesting lecture on human population and various viewpoints on how we can control our population. Next was followed by a test in AP Statistics, which hopefully I b'd. Third period Phyiscs Honors was cool, as we did a lab and got an A on it. In 5th period Government we learned about Congress, which was basically a lecture, but it's always good to know how our legislature works. After taking a lap I met up with the guys at lunch. Food is good, so lunch was good. Like the end of lunch was cool too, but it wasn't because of the food. As Mr. Fottrell would say, hmm...interesting. MCL was awesome as usual, as the teacher wasn't present and all we did was bs work. After school, Robbie, Eric, Marc and I went to Marc's house where we finished off the AP Statistics project. I must say it's pretty funny, and hopefully everyone likes it. Oh yeah, hopefully we get an A on it, too. We left around 6 PM.

One More Note
When a group of mostly honor class or honor caliber students were asked whether it is better to be street smart or book smart, they responded with book smart. When a regular class of students at school were asked the same question, they said street smart.

Normal Classes vs Advanced
Oh yes...the age old question that most high school students consider. Which set of classes are better: regular (average/normal) classes as compared to honors/ap. Well, simply put, I can't make that distinction, as it is not my place to decide what's good for everyone. I, myself when given the choice, will take the advanced, but that's not to say I'm better than anyone. Honestly, I do not get the A and the extra grade point, and sometimes I struggle to get the C. Why you ask? Heck if I know. Some people slam on the people who are in regular classes and call them idiots, and I say forget them. What about those in regular classes and get A's and B's. Are they still idiots? Conversely, are those in advanced classes that get C's (like me) and D's still smart? Stick them in the normal classes and they'd get those A's and B's. Or maybe it's all in the head, maybe people on both sides just choose not to assert themselves in certain subjects/classes. I'm not here to argue the merits of taking one class over another. For some people who are going to Harvard University, then sure take your advanced classes. For those going to Cal State or otherwise, take the regular class. In the end, it just depends on what suits you as a student. The main point of all this you ask? Nothing really, but I just wanted to make the point that the two groups of people are different. Yes, most people in the advanced classes are indeed different from those in the regular classes. Does that necessarily mean they're better? Heck no, they're just different. Now, from this information, you can infer many things about them. Yes I've made the generalization about those in advanced classes compared to those in regular classes, and even though it might be true, I don't think they're any worse. They just don't fit my tastes. My whole point of this rant is that people from both sides are indeed different. For me personally, by taking the advanced classes, I've met a different set of people than if I would have taken a regular class. Is this good or bad? Well, simply put, it's both. It's good that I might have put myself in smarter company, but hey when you go on to higher education, everyone's on the same playing field. It's bad because now I've missed the opportunity of meeting different, maybe more appealing people, maybe less appealing. Who knows. Well I'm about done here, now time to get back to doing this damn homework, which oh btw, is universal to all classes.

A Day, Oh What A Day
Well, today was a pretty busy one I guess. I woke up around 11:00 AM or so, but I didn't get out of be till about a half hour later. After eating some food at home, I left my house along with Kevin to pick up Willy and Nick. Then we made our way out to Dear View Park out in Columbia. It was basically the same guys who eat lunch together at school. We spent our time between eating food, playing various forms of baseball and some tag in the tambark. We stayed around until 2:30 or so, when people got tired and it started raining. After taking Nick and Kevin home, I went to Eric Zamora's house to meet him, Marc, and Robbie to work on our AP Stat project. We basically got the script done, but due to the rain we have to flim some other time. When everyone got hungry, they made me go get a pizza from Little Caesar's. I ordered my pizza, walked along the path, and made my way to the end to Subway, when I remembered that had a lady friend who worked there. I went in found out that another lady friend of mine worked there as well. I ended up staying there for about 45 minutes basically just chillen with the two of them. After letting the pizza chill for about 50 minutes or so, I made my way back to Eric's house, and as expected I got the standard "where tf where you?" and "what tf were you doing?". All good though, we ended up leaving Eric's house at about 7 or 8, I forgot. Later everyone went over to Willy's house. There we played some NBA 2K2 on Sega Dreamcast and watched some of the guys play Ghost Recon and the standard Counter-Strike. Then we watched Swordfish on SVCD, which turned out to be a pretty good movie. We ended up leaving around 10:30 PM or so. That about concludes my day. I leave you a quote.
StrikeoutK (2:34:15 AM): oh damn i forgot

Three Days Off From School
Yay! Or is it? Hmm. Anyways today was Friday, which denotes the ending of the school week. We took in first period AP Environmental Science today, and I probably b'd it. Nothing really happened the rest of the day. Around 3:30 PM or the usual guys and then somehow some others showed up later in the day. As expected I didn't really try too hard in the beginning games, but after conditions improved everyones game went up two notches. Couple of key shots here, couple of defensive stops there, and about 13 points with 5 shots beyond the arc and you conclude with a tied series. Report cards are due tomorrow, which could be a good or bad thing, depending on who you are, what you normally get, your opinion on senior year and whether or not you're striving for Harvard. Well I guess I will be taking another day off from work tomorrow, going instead to Deer View Park up in Colombia for some Environmental Awareness club picnic and to work on the project for AP Statistics. Bah. Oh yea I just remembered the demographics of the people probably going...damn.

Motivational Speaker
Today we were excused from our second period classes to listen to a speaker. He was quadriplegic (that's disabled from neck down for people like Willy). He spoke on how to treat others and ourselves. Anyhow the rest of the day went quite normal. Too bad at lunch Environmental Science had to have the first appointment for club pictures, so most of us ended up not making it in time. Foos didn't tell us about it earlier. We did however squeeze into the Interact group picture (bigwilly for president, btw). Oh yeah, uh with MCL today. Apparently Nick wanted to give me a low blow when I wasn't looking, so when I turned around and faced him, I see the jigga down on his knees and with his hand up. So it uh, basically put him in the ready position. Oh. I decided to sign up for the December SAT test today as late registartion. With all the fees and score reports, I ended up dropping 59 dollars. Damn them, another reason to jank money. Bah. Anyways basketball tomorrow at the rec, gonna light it up.
Finally my camera came back from Sony today...this shit better work now.

Headline: Pass Fails To Reach Lu For Clutch Shot
Yep you've read it. The day started off really well, with a nice smile...I mean nice sunshine. Anyways the day proceeded normally I guess. I ended up getting a little bit lower than the already low average for the scantron portion of the physics test, but some people got worse than I did so that's good. In Government the BSA lost to the gay Dale, the vote was 4-8, with 1 abstaining and me voting on the conservative side. Lunch was lunch, and then I made my way to MCL. That's where the pass was missed. Somehow I lost my homework from the night before, so bah. The pass was made and the shot was a wide open 3, with the defender giving an invitation. But the pass never made it there!!! The defender just ended up picking up the ball and moving downcourt and away. When I finally got up from the floor it was too late. Noooooo. If I ever forget my homework again in that class, someone slap me. Oh yea, then the same 2.5 people started making fun of me again. Bah.

School
Well today was school, as usual. I also had a physics test today, which I probably d'd. Anyways in U.S. Government our group had to present our case, and we ended up winning with a count of 4-2, with 7 people abstaining from the vote. In 6th MCL we started our new book, Things Fall Apart. It's a shame I didn't really get anything done. I didn't even finish reading the first chapter which was 3 pages long thanks to 3 people around me who tried to get me in trouble. Bah. Damn anyways I'll leave with guys with a quote.

SAT II Subject Tests
Yep, I took those yesterday. Damn those tests. The first two went okay I supposed, being writing and match ic, but the last test wasn't even funny. After doing the first page of that test I basically gave up. It got to the point where I didn't even read the writings and just read the questions and picked the one that sounded best. Luckily on the way out of the CSU Hayward parking lot there was a cross country chick running across our car so that was pretty nice. Anyways after that whole maurading of my mind Chester, Gerald, Rob, Willy and I went to Dennys to eat some lunch while Jhermaine and Will went to the Xbox Odyssey in San Francisco. After eating lunch we all went to our homes and did whatever. I spent an hour watching some MTV special on Britney Spears that was pretty neat. At the conclusion of the program I made my way out to the mall where I picked up a leather jacket. I then ate dinner back at home and then played some video games and worked out a trade for our fantasy basketball league. Today I will be starting and finishing my government project and write a one page commentary one a twelve page essay in apes. Oh yea yesterday was Kevin's bday so H-belated bday to him.

0 For 2, 0 And 1 Count
Well today I woke up to a surprisedly bright and sunny day. Too bad the day's proceedings proved otherwise for most of us. Nothing really happened from periods one to five. Anyways come lunchtime, due to a lack of communication [as usual] things got heated up again. I was not my usual affable self when someone else and I started bitching at each other and that lasted through 6th period. In conclusion, a half-jacking has occured, and who knows what the result will be. Also in addition to my bad luck, all of us in MCL got jacked one way or another in 1st quarter grades. Also in 6th period, the question of whether or not the ball was trapped under the fielders glove has been answered. Due to a miraculous Jeter-type robbery, the second out has been made. Add that to the Maddux-style rob on my hit up the middle and my my wiff today, and you have yourself a bad game. Anyways after school we made a quick trip to 5 Canyons, only to get burned. Bah. At least tomorrow in Physics, we'll be talking to some engineers, so hopefully I'll learn something useful
