A Pleasant Weekend
Let's see. Saturday I worked, and it was hecka slowwwwww. Boo. Plus nobody was there. Weakness. After work I headed out to Gerald's house where we the video we made the evening before was being finished. We got it done, but I guess there were some sort of problems taping it. Most of us headed out and arrived at the French Cafe place at 5:30 or so. The night was interesting, with some good food, some games, dancing, and other various activities that occupied us. The night ended at 10 PM after eating some very rich cake. Both Rob's car and my own sat in the parking lot "warming up" as we both blasted some Linkin Park to get the proper juices flowing. Jhermaine and Will sat in Rob's SI while Willy and Nick sat in my G20. We got on the freeway and started going at it for a while. I believe I lost most of the way, but the fun part was the weaving and adrenaline rush from going 105 miles per hour. Willy sat in the backseat navigating like we were in a fighter jet doing some Top Gun scene haha. After meeting at the park we headed out to the Jensen Park parking lot where Will ^2 both learned how to drive a manual transmission. Rob and I were both handing out pointers, which made me realize that it's easier to learn to drive from a peer then from a parent. Both of them did well and picked it up the most part. I guess we'll be seeing two new cars out on the road soon? After that we all went to the park where kicked it there for about an hour. Nick and I then went to the parking lot where he also learned how to drive a manual. As expected, we had a good 7 person game of Warcraft 3 before we all slept for the night.
Today I worked, and it was alright. After I came home I took Kevin and my mom to Best Buy where Kevin picked up a GeForce 3 TI200 (the same one I ordered a couple days ago). Then we ate at McDonalds. Now I've been watching the Olympic closing ceremonies. Damn, have to study for statistics quiz tomorrow. 5.26 lush cherry... nice, and not just because that's what I use.
