Work, LAN Party Day One
Nick came to my house around 9:50 AM, and I did not eat yet because I was online, so I grabbed the hot dogs and shoved them into buns and ate them in Nick's car I really volunteered for work yesterday. They were about to send me home or something. I spend the first hour doing nothing, like putting bags into lanes and stuff like that. I was like the utility person or something. I then had to learn food avenue cashiering. It's pretty easy I suppose with all the touch buttons and stuff. It's really warm in there, especially with the grill and everything. I got out of there pretty soon. Next I moved onto a few carts. Arf. Nice day out, decided to grab a cart or two heh. While out there Flora started coming in, about 5 minutes late for work. Hahaha lol. Nah I'm just teasing. A different but very pleasant surprise with the glasses, though =) Hour of cashiering or so, and we were gone. Nick, Rob, and I then went to the mall. I wanted to get some black pants from Banana Republic, but they didn't have any =\ I then went home and showered, but before then I fell asleep.
We started filing into Jhermaine's house around 6:00 PM for our LAN party. Currently we have eight systems set up, with probably one or two more on the way. Throughout the day, people who were here at one point included Nick, Kevin, Gerald, Chris P, Greg, Jhermaine, AJ, Will, Willy, Ken, Tom, and I. Currently Nick, Kevin, Gerald, and I are camping over. We played some Counter Strike, Warcraft Three, and went back to some more Counter Strike. It's been pretty fun, but now I'm dead tired. Time to sleep I think. Later today, Chester, Willy, Matt, and Mike are due here sometime. You know what's sort of cool? The girls who know what a LAN party is. Rock on.

I need to sleep a little more. Four and a half hours is not going to cut it. Shoot.

there's something about her... the way she carries herself
her style, her mind, compares to nothing on this earth. only god knows what she's worth
i got to show her that i want her
if i can't have her then i'll go crazy, spending all my time just chasing
Yesterday around 8:00 or so Nick picked Rob and I up and we went to Will's house. There Rob and I played some Inside Drive while other's worked on their pieces of art for Carol. Rob threw together a watercolor masterpiece in about 5 minutes haha. Anyways we, along with Jhermaine and Will, were the first ones to Christi's house lol. Sooner or later everyone showed up, and all the art masterpieces were set up on the wall. Sorry Nick, but I'll have to say that Jhermaine has won the contest =\. Yeah and because my own piece was soo great (sarcasm), mine was right next to his. I got a call on my cell phone from a person claiming to own a pizza place who claimed that I haven't picked up a pizza I ordered two days ago. Weird stuff. They said they needed the money to feed their cats. I hung up on them. I then got a voice mail later saying that it was 94.9 doing a prank call and I could have won one thousand dollars. Oh well, there are more important things I'm more concerned about than money anyways. Plus, the whole thing sounded "phony" (Catcher in the Rye <--- see I can read when I want to) anyways. Carol walked through the door and was immediately surprised (hence a surprise party). The evening was pleasant, and it was nice being able to see the people. By the time we knew it, it was time to go. We went outside and someone swore they saw a man standing in a window with a pump shotty, yikes! Anyways we hiked backed to Nick's car, and he then dropped everyone off where they needed to be dropped. Happy birthday neighbor!

Vanilla Sky
Earlier today I saw the movie. Not too bad if I say so myself. It was really confusing most of the time throughout a big portion of the movie, until the end. Who knew. Sucks how dreams turn into nightmares. Yes, the subconscience is probably a powerful thing (I'll probably read something about that in the psych book). Whatever the movie meant to you, hopefully it was something. The movie finished exactly at 4:00 PM, so again I was late to rehearsals. Dangit, I swear I will be on time in one of the next two sessions. It's getting pretty pathetic. I guess someone was right, there is no such thing as "had to be late." Sorry.

I was supposed to wake up at 7:30 AM, but I guess both my parents already were awake, so they didn't wake me up. So I woke up an hour ago. What to do, what to do.
Pbase is being screwy at the moment.

"Reconnaissance : Jerry"
Word association. Simple, makes sense, if and you know me at all this is what I used to be about. Anyways, let me wow you with talk of my previous day. Nothing too much, another day of volunteered time (but getting paid) work at Target. Came in at 10:30 AM, stuck me on lane 2. Yess. Work was work, as usual. I did sometime during the day to decide to put together a need-to-know guide about colleges and crap. More of that to come. A buttload of people that I either know personally or just know have been coming into Target lately. Weird. Last hour of worked sucked, they stuck me in camera and sound and made me do a push.. Aiya. Not too bad I suppose. Could have been much worse. Finished up the "work" day by picking up shoes and putting some clothes back. Shift officially ended 4:00, clocked out at 4:20 because of previously stated work. Got home at 5:00 PM. Thanks go out to B, who has now taken the title of HN (Headline News) network. Oh well. Got home, ate dinner, watched the A's pound on the Rangers. Anyways, need to wake up at 7:30 AM to take my car to the shop to get the door fixed. I'm going to be car-less through Thursday, probably Friday =\.

What Was I Thinking?!?!
Oh wait... I remember now. Target. First time I've worked a Saturday, a 6+ hour day, and a day with a lunch since last summer!!! Boy my dogs hurt. What labor. Guess what? They stuck me on lane 14 (the farthest right). What! Then they tell me hours later I was supposed to be on lane two. How lame. When I learned I was working till 6:30 instead of 6:00, I got sad. I was so so bored. Not as much tired, but bored. Nobody really to talk to, have a good time with, get closer to. Uff. I don't know how some people (ie Flora) does it. Oh well. I'll stop complaining now. I'm probably being a "big baby" "again" to someone. /me hides. =\

I indeed did end up sleeping when Kevin was waking up haha. Darn, one more hour then it's 6 hours of work at Target. Yikes!
Hopefully everyone is enjoying their fishing or hiking experiences, respectively.
A wonderful and pleastant day today is. Very effulgent out.

Chinatown & Basketball
Woke up at the good ol' ripe hour of 11 AM yesterday. Turns out that my internet went offline at 9:30 AM. Weaksauce. I spent the majority of the time trying to get back online. To pass the stupid time, I played some single player Warcraft Three. I was playing a mission where I had to keep one character alive for thirty minutes, and most of the mission I was doing fine. The mofo died with 31 seconds left on the timer. Weaksauce. Around 1:00 PM Chester, Tracy, Willy, Will, Tom, Nick, and I started our journey out to Oakland. I was on my way to pick up Will at his house, but I suddenly remembered I had to get Tom too, so I had to make a little detour lol. Anyways we got to Oakland, and I finally managed to find parking. We went to a nice little place to eat. I ordered my favorite fried rice, chicken with salted fish. We ate our food, and Nick tried to paid with plastic but they said cash only. What's up with that! Willy and I then went to get some bobas. On our way out, Willy crossed the street like the good ol' thug he is haha (he had to stay there). The rest of us got back to CV around 4:00 PM. Kevin, Chester, Tom, Nick, and I then went to play some basketball. We first played a 5 vs 5 game (Chester had to leave so Micol subbed). It was decent I suppose. We won the game, despite a lack of rebounds, having only 1.5 actual ball handlers, and 5 "guards" on the court. Score of 21-19. A great deal of layups were missed (myself a few), but overall not bad. I ended up with 7 points on 5-13 shooting (2-3 beyond the arc). Nick then left early to tend to who knows what, and Kevin felt like going home due to illness. What a trooper. Anyways Tom, Chester, and I played 3 on 3 with some other people. We ended up winning that game too, 13-7. Not bad of a game, missed one easy layup though hahaha. It's pretty good now because mostly everyone can now hit a good portion of their shots. My 3 point has probably gone down 15% due to lack of wrist strength, but my mid range shot has improved 10% probably. All this due to new shooting technique. After the 5 on 5 game someone from the other team said something like "they were just playing around, let's not play them again." LOL!
I just showered. I think I'll read the psych book a bit. I hope everyone who is doing eventful later has fun doing it. Don't forget about me in my lane daydreaming and staring into space at Target. =\

Review, LPC, Def Jam
Another great day at work yesterday. Four hours 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM aka "the easy shift" someone calls it. First hour I worked, they asked me to push some toys out. Now I remember why I didn't want to work the sales floor anymore. Too much looking around for stuff and box opening. Maybe part of it is because I've forgotten where everything on the floor. The rest of the day was pretty much butter, except for a little incident at the end of break involving food avenue and another incident near the end of my shift. All I can say about food avenue... if the water dispenser is broken, then what else do you want me to drink? Ice? Forget that. As for the end of my shift, the cap to a fatty bottle of laundry detergent (or some other form of soap) wasn't completely screwed on, so when I went to lift it (I life it there and not the handle, yeah I know tell me I'm weird) the sucker took a belly flop down to where my bags were located. *Splat.* Made a nice little (no jk not little) mess. I started cleaning it up, but someone wanted to see me in the back to give me my review so I left the mess for someone else to clean haha. As for my review, I'm pretty sure it's standardizes answers and crap they all say, so I suppose all is well. My score ended up between Jhermaine's and Nick's, so I'll probably (and better) be making the same wage. Jhermaine and Nick then came to Target, and we went to Las Positas College. Jhermaine and I did some slight alterations in our schedule, and paid for all of the classes we're sure we want to take. Then we bounced from that place. We then went to the mall, whoo haven't been there in a while. We first went into American Eagle, and yes, the manager with the horse-like hair started staring at us again. Sheez, unpack a box and hang some clothes up or something. It's not like we never buy anything, but we can't manage to buy something everytime we go into that store. Shoot. You know we only go in there to holla at our man Leo anyways (ok that and another reason). In the second store we went to, there was a girl inside from CVHS who early senior year I would have considered one of the prettier ones. Rob and Tom eventually joined us. Some of them got some stuff from Banana Republic. I didn't, but I'm going to. I will definately go back sometime for a pair of black pants, and I'm seriously considering getting a buttload of other stuff too. Dangit. We then went to Coco's to eat dinner. The food was good, and we had a few good laughs. Oh well. With a brand spankin' new Canon S200, Flora has joined the ranks of digicam owners.

Nice Working By Myself
Heh... NOT! It sucks. It's boring as heck, tiring, and slow as heck. Forget that. After work, went to a BBQ at Lake Chabot to meet with some friends. I was only there for a little while, but it was fun. I then went to rehearsals. The conductor first thought I was Nick. Negative. I then proceeded to tell her I was Will. Got a few laughs, but someone then told her who I really am. We finished early again, so we got to leave. As for the evening, some of us went to Starbucks for some drinks. We then went to Will's house, where we watched All About the Benjamins. The movie's pretty funny. Not bad as comedys go I suppose.

Two Day Wrap Up
Two things I remember from Monday are rehearsals and what I did in the evening. ReheArsals first, same as usual, fun, good stuff. We got to leave 30 minutes early, woohoo. Wait, that's not good... didn't get to sing as much. As for the evening Rob and I went to Nick's house to do some automobile work. Rob took off his muffler, and stashed it in his trunk. I did some quick engine adjustments. Everything took maybe an hour. Later at night we went through a series of people's houses trying to get out next project started. After much thinking and planning out , I think we finally got the ball rolling. Now we just need to get started.
As for yesterday (Tuesday), not much occured. I didn't have to work on this previously scheduled day so that was both good and bad. Absolutely nothing accomplished today, except play some more games during the day. At night, however, Rob, Will, and I did manage to watch Van Wilder. The movie's basically about a college student who didn't want to graduate because he was afraid of going into the real world. For one reason or another, these "stupid" movies we've seen lately have managed to come to my liking for some reason. The movie stars some guy as the protagonist, and Tara Reid. I'll leave it at that.
The newspaper says either RJ or Justin will win American Idol. It also said the Ryan chick has good looks, but you can find "plenty of girls with similar renditions of that look shopping at Concord's Sunvalley mall every weekend".
First semester last year I would be driving out there as you read this. This time around, however, things are different.
Oh and thanks to a little lesson, I've learned two new words to use. Go me.
Have to work at Target by myself in six hours. Good night.

So I was sitting in my chair (like my normally do) at 2:15 AM doing much of nothing except listening to a few select favorite songs of mine. I put my head down on my desk to think, and I ended up falling asleep. I know this because I wake up and it's 3:20 AM. Finished my shower, and I'm ready for bed. Good night.

Happy Birthday x2
Yep yesterady we celebrated the birthdays of Greg and Allison @ Allison's house. I guess we started out with some food, with classical music playing on one side of the backyard and hip hop playing on the other, in accordance to the theme. Some people were dressed nicely (classicly) while others were dressed Ken Yan style (ghetto). We spent the evening playing 2 on 2 basketball, playing a few games, opening presents. Basically hang out group stuff. All in all kinda fun. We ended up leaving around midnight.
Before all that, work at Target from 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM. They asked me to do carts until 1:30 PM because the cart person didn't show and that's when the next one would come in. What hard work it is. Only good thing is that for every 25-30 minute stretch of work you do, you get a 10 minute break to do nothing. Took my break at 1:20, didn't get back to front lanes until 1:45 or so. Yikes, sorry about that. Got out of there, went to Nick's house, watched the A's give up 4 runs in the 12th, and a few other movies that were on. That is all.
Stupid clouds are covering most of the stars in the sky. I only see three right now. =/

"In every way, a walk to remember."
-(237, "A Walk To Remember")
Yesterday morning started at the early hour of 9:15 AM with a wake up call. Nick came over to my house around 10:00, and we ended up getting to the junior lot around 10:30. The whole car wash thing overall was pretty cool, I guess. We did go through many cars, so I'm sure there were a lot of donations. The safety thing was a success, I suppose, with many parents wanting to have fingerprints of their kids. The sun was causing some major heat, so getting sprayed by water did feel good at times. My arms and my neck are all dark now. Not exactly good, but I suppose it's better off than some people who are burned or have rosy cheeks lol. Some car washs were half decent, while some were just horrible. Rob and I were saying how funny it was that we take over and hour washing our cars, but there we're finishing cars within five minutes of startings haha. Overall pretty fun. We ended leaving the event at 3:00 PM.
Ah yes, to continue the tradition of people learning how to drive manual tranny, Flora took her turn. Not bad, not bad. Some basic things to work on, as with everyone else so nothing too much to worry about. Something interesting happened (ask if I haven't told you already), which forced us to do some walking (yikes). Long walk down the hill, and another walk up the hill. Interesting. Now I'm feeling pain (in my legs) from the walk. I don't think something like this happens all too often. It was quite something, quite something indeed. An experience for the ages, I say.
"wizll 02 (12:03:49 AM): leave that in the movies and in poems"
I think it's Rob @ Wills house.
Howabout, no.
Crazy me for sleeping only five hours last night. Tired.

Wowsers
It's almost 4:30 AM so I'll try to make this brief. Yesterday I woke up rather early, at 10:30 AM. Crazy. For nothing, too. I didn't do much of anything. I did however, fry myself some rice which is always awesome, except I didn't finish it because I made too much =\. I spend daylight playing a few games of Warcraft Three. Eventually Nick decides he wants to go to Target, so I (naturally) tag along. I go there, pick up my check, check my schedule, and discover I'm scheduled for 16 hours for the week. Nice. In about 5 minutes, and some coaxing, persistence, and my own self conviction, I found myself working an 18 hour week with two days by myself including a six hour shift on Saturday (I usually never work Saturday's). Oh well, I'll put it on my tab and just say somebody owes me one now =P. I get home, eat dinner, and the idea arises that we get some ice cream. Loards is the first choice, but when we get there we discover that the place is full, so we go to the ice creamery. On the drive there, Mare almosts sends us to the hospital with some stunt driving. Phew. While there I give Mr. Will Yan a call, and he decides to give me his best Steve Austin impression over the phone. What a punk. Then we go to Blockbusters, but decide against renting anything. On the drive to Will's house Nick then almost sends me to the hospital with his newbie skills with driving over bumps. The fool likes to ram those suckers full speed or something. Once at Will's, we sit around and play a few games here and there while watching the Giants own up on the Dodgers. What a great game. However two things stick out: Shinjo sucks and Bonds is a stupid mofo for pulling something while running. How weak. All the while, let me just say that three computers with 3 open instances of AIM is not a good thing. Oh well, oh well. I got home a little bit after 1:00 AM. How am I still awake you ask? Let us take a look. A few games of Warcraft Three, an hour and a half. Shower / brush teeth / other pre-sleeping habits, hour. Sitting in my chair admiring the stars and clouds, priceless, (no jk half an hour). I have to wake up in 5 hours and wash some cars, so if you'll excuse me.

Worked yesterday starting 10:45 AM. They asked me to stay until 4:00 PM, so i agreed to. It was pretty funny because one of my managers was trying to count how many hours I was working. 10:45 AM - 4:00 PM. Uh, so that looks like 5.25 hours to me. What about you? Apparently my manager couldn't get it because she was counting with her fingers and stuff. Oh well. The day remained quite uneventful. A few carry outs here, a few laps there, and that was my day. I managed to become master of keeping those m&m's bags straight. You couldn't touch those babies. Oh, and it seems like just about most everyone else is trying to catch up to me in speed / proficiency ratings. Quite ironic there if I say so myself. Right about after work we played some basketball, some real basketball... well, for most of the time. The best games turned out to be the first two, where the both teams split 1-1. After that everything else was less competative for one reason or another. As the saying goes, somebody always gets hurt playing basketball and yesterday was no different with Will getting a bruised finger. For some reason also, the ball kept finding me in times that I wasn't paying attention. I don't know if I was daydreaming, just sleep-deprived, or admiring the peculiarness of the clouds, but I kept on getting hit by the stupid ball. Boo. A few games of Warcraft Three and such, and call it a night. Today's a free day... wonder what's going on. Hmm.

Midweek
I'll make this post while everyone is playing Warcraft Three and I just got out of the shower. Like I said, I had an interesting dream yesterday morning. As for the day I didn't do much. Rehearsals were yesterday, and again it proved to be interesting. I couldn't help but keep laughing my rear off in the back. A combination of Willy's facial hair on steroids along with his random expressions and my own ability to laugh at my pitiful self proved to be the culprit. What a knee slapper. Oh well. Didn't really do much the rest of the day. Went home, ate dinner, played some games and watched American Idol... that sort of thing. Now I'm sitting here debating whether I should play some more games or start wrapping things up.
sn1ck3rs: Yeah, I caught the drift.

Good... Afternoon
No, I did not just wake up now. I first woke up at 11:58 AM or so from a dream. It was pretty weird because it was first at Safeway, then over at the Chevron gas station at the corner of CV Boulevard and Redwood Road. I was also going to go to Chabot theatre but I woke up before I got there. This particular dream was interesting because it included someone who I haven't thought of in a long long time. Quite peculiar if I say so myself. The thing is, everything seemed to be smooth and as I like to say, all butter. I wonder what this means. I got out of bed around 1:30 PM. Oh well off to rehearsals.

if you were here with me
i'd be so happy i would cry
you are so dear to me
i just can't let you say goodbye
Beef, It's What's For... Lunch
I tried to wake up at 12:30 PM or so yesterday, but it didn't happen. I think I woke up an hour later. Some of the guys started filing in an hour later, and we started out with good ol' NBA Inside Drive. By 3:30 everyone who was supposed to be here was here, so we decided to start cooking the meat. We finally finished the hamburger meat and patties along with the hotdogs and buns that were from our bbq from last month. Whoo. Anyways the day was pretty good. Willy was maning his George Foreman grill that he had brought over. That thing is great, if I say so myself. You can actually see the fat that you're not eating. The fat drips down into a little collection plate at the end and it catches all of it. Great stuff. We played some Halo multi link on the Xbox, which basically got owned by Kevin, Will (two Halo players), and Nick. Jhermaine was sniping pretty well; darn I really wanted to get that guy a few more times =\. We played some more Inside Drive, Smash Brothers on the Cube, and Willy was War3'ing it up. Somewhere along the line I got kicked off my keyboard and from there havok broke loose. Crazy kids. Throughout the night people showed up and came and went. By the time everyone left it was around 11:00 PM. I managed to make myself some noodle and fry myself some rice for dinner. Now I think I wont be sleeping until 4:00 AM or something. That or I'll "food coma" and pass out. Earlier I was talking to Flora about dreaming, and this is what I learned:
""Women everywhere more commonly dream of children, while men more often dream of aggression, weapons, and tools." (97)
"For example, dream researcher Calvin Hall found that, in a sample of over 1800 dreams, women dreamed about both men and women, while men dreamed about men twice as often as about women." (97)
"Sleep research has also found that dream content frequently relates to recent experience. Typically, the first dream of the night connects with events of the previous day. Then, dreaming in the second REM period (90 minutes later) may build on a theme that emereged during the first REM period. And so it goes through the night - like the childhood game of whispering a message from person to person - the final dream that emerges may have only the remotest relationship to events of the previous day. Ironically, it is the final dream of the night that is most likely to be remembered." (97)
Page 97 must be a good one. All quotes compliments of the psych book.

Why Again
So I end up sleeping late last night (morning technically) yet I got up early and headed out to good ol' Target. Why you ask? To fill out requests for time off for potential upcoming plans. Also, I'm a tad confused about something. Why in the heck would you pay more money for regular shaving gel when the anti nicks and cuts formula costs less? I have no idea. Sheeze. Oh and all the varieties? Maddening. Oh well. Rehearsal again was today, and those are always fun, for one reason or another. During the session I heard some noises from the outside, like a rumbling noise that sounded like someone was out there stumbling along. Later I learned that I wasn't hearing things... it was simply Willy all along haha. Crazy kid. We also played some basketball, something which we have not done in a long time. However the experience today was less than good. What a day it was for basketball, overcast and a chilling 70 degrees at best. First we played on the janky courts (but I did manage to successfully satisfy everyone's want for a showdown). Then we finally moved onto the good courts. Unfortunately these bad ass guys wanted to run full with eight people, where the rules clearly state that you cannot kick people off the courts to run a full court game with less than 10 people. What garbage. We ended up "playing them for the court" but it was basically futile. What's with those guys insisting that they play toward the shorter basket? Pfft just picking on us shorter asians those mofos. Yeah and they missed 3 out of every 4 dunks. Get out. Somewhere in the process I caught an elbow to the mouth. In the end we were defeated. Partly because they were just bigger and taller than us. Partly because we haven't shot a basketball since the 18th of June and we haven't really played competative games since late May and early June. The funny thing in this story you ask? Within 30 minutes later, it got too dark to play anyways, LOL. What a waste of time.

Whoot
Well what a day yesterday was. It started out with me waking up (duh?) and getting ready to work. Ah yes, Target. Work was usual, except my cabinet area didn't have any shelves, so all the hangers / go-backs were piled together while the big bags / tissue were stuffted together. The block of wood that was supposed to be a shelf became in instrument of injury everytime I turned around to bag something and the piled hangers and go-backs was a trip waiting to happen. I also dusted again today with the feather duster haha. Actually, I only dusted two lanes, one of which was mine. I suppose it is a good thing to do, cuz it really does get dusty in some places. Break was nice because one: I got to spend it with Nick (LOL) and Flora, and two: It was thirty-five minutes long haha. Anyways today was one of those days where the hours went by quicky, so was good. So eventually when it's time for me to go to the back and clock out, I take a peek in the break room and I see Flora. What's amazing is that she's reading Twisted Magazine. Lol. Anyways I see what it's all about and pretty soon I'm rating and picking out "cute" guys, getting beauty tips, and taking quizzes. Oh for your information, I'm a confident chica... yikes! Oh well I guess to some degree it was fun when I get past the embarrassment. I ended up leaving around Target around 3:00 PM.
Later on in the afternoon, I went to the park where some of us played some football and softball. It was kinda hard because there wasn't a whole lot of people, but I suppose it has been a while so it was nice being able to play those sports again. Oh, and Trish needs to work on that softball swing, haha. Amy, on the other hand, what a savage (in a good way). Nice time spent.
Earlier this evening, I learned many a thing. First thing is that in some areas it's better to shave up, than down, then across. I also learned that I'm a friendly flirt, I'm cool and carefree when it comes to romance rules, I know more about female and male bodily functions than Flora (I'm pretty sure the first part is a bad thing), I'm balanced between being a kid and adult, and I'm able to crush without totally going overboard (???).
if you had the letters "hrt"
i could add "ea" and get "heart"
or add "u" and get "hurt"
but i'd rather choose "u" and get "hurt"
then have a "heart" without "u"
Spelling corrected because I cannot stand improper representations for simple words.

Nice Day, UPS Concluded
I tried waking up at 10:30 AM yesterday morning to head on out to Gareth's house at 11:15, but I ended up waking up at 11:25 AM, lol. Anyways I high tailed it out of my house toward Jack London Square. However I made one fatal mistake. I took 580 west instead of 880 north up to Oakland. Stupid stupid me, I knew something was wrong when I didn't go through any traffic on 238 or see the ballpark. Sheeze. So I kept on calling Willy, and he kept on saying "get off on Broadway, make a left turn, it'll be on your left." I saw no Broadway. I drove and drove and drove, MacArthur, Harrison, highway 24, Richmond exit, finally 80 west or 980 to who knows where. I get on 80. Go over the overpass... oh crappers. "Crap, crap, crap." I thought to myself (ok in not so light terms). I see the Bay Bridge. Doh!!! However thanks to all my sittings in Willy's car, I "merge" over three lanes and get out at the last possible Oakland exit. From there it was relatively easy finding Jack London Square, as 880 was pretty close by. The only difficult part was parking. I found an open spot on the curb, but a woman in a late 90's BMW jacked it. So I park right behind her. I leave the woman 3 inches of space and my trunk is blocking a driveway. Oh well, screw them I say. I go in the restaurant, and I sit down into a packed table with friends who I've known for who knows how long. The food was good, company was great, and everyone was having a jolly good time. I even looked the window to find that the woman with the BMW made it out off the curb no problems. Props go out to her. I ended up leaving when everyone else left. Carol came over to my house right after and we watched X-Men and played some cards. It's always great spending time with my neighbor ;P heh. Anyways today I got my Motorola V60. Nice little phone. Oh and I finally got my package. Turns out that UPS delivered to 644 8 Crestwood Drive, which is right across the street from my house. What a mofo. I looked at the sticker with the address on it, and I have to say that it is rather confusing because the paper overlaps itself and you can't really tell what the last number is. I went across the street, indentifed myself, and the guy handed me the box before I concluded my introduction. Good stuff. Last night I managed to wreck havok through my room. I brought the wrecking ball and cleaned my room out. Now it's all spiffy (or close rather), woohoo. You know, I was in the shower, and I couldn't think of how things happen the way they do. Why do certain things happen? What makes people do things or feel the way they do? I don't know man, it's pretty heav. Oh well, some things are and some things are just aren't supposed to be. Excuse me please, while I think about this somre more.

I open my door to find nothing. I go around to the side of my house, still nothing. Boo. So where in the heck is my package? In all my dealings with any private delivery company (UPS, Fedex), this is the first screw up that has ever occured. Very disapointed I am, indeed. Now I have to call their customer service. Oh well, first time for everything.
Let's see for Friday what I did. I woke up around noon time, expecting to go to Willy's house for some burgers and movies. It didn't happen. I stayed home the afternoon, and played some Warcraft Three. I'm level three now baby! Yess. In the two on two game that I played, I ranked first, leading in all categories. I got two screenshots of the score and I saved the replay. So proud am I, so proud. I eventually got out of the house when we decided to go cell phone shopping. After visiting a few places, it looks like it's going to be a Motorola V60 on AT&T wireless. Since I'm not paying anything for anything, I suppose I'm pretty content. New phone number I shall most likely have by the time most of you readers out there read this. When I got home, and opened my front door, I noticed that the infamous green cake from the day before was disposed of in front of my house. So I did what any guy what do, I picked it up and took it back to it's source... Carol's house in this case. Haha I ended up stuffing it in her trash bin. We then went to the ice creamery. There we sat down and did some hanging out. Particularly the conversation with Charles, Will, Carol, and myself was rather interesting. We shared some great insights and opinons on a few different topics. I was really surprised with the inputs of one Charles Cho. Not bad for a kid lol. In some ways I wish I thought like that guy when I was his age (a whole two years ago). Mostly everyone split after that, with some returning home and other's to Will's house for a movie. Charles and I went to Carol's house where we watched a movie. Being the young'n that he is, Charles needed a ride. He claimed to be able to drive a manual tranny, so I let him have at it. Not bad for someone who was self-taught. The guy only stalled when he forgot to release the e-brake (mo). As is the issue with a few newbies, he had a problem with shifting from 2nd gear to 5th, and vice versa. Some people just can't feel the middle two gears or something haha.
Now I'm here sitting on my dead ass, why I'm still awake, why it is I am indeed here just sitting on my dead ass. A quick glance outside into the star containing, peaceful yet soon-to-be dawn light sky which results in an ever-so-quick moment of awe and wonder reminds me ever so quickly.

I'm Just Too Nice
So yesterday morning my phone rang at 8:45 AM. 8:45 AM!!! Crazy! After it rang three times, I figured my mom wasn't home to pick it up so I had to. As thought, it was good ol Target. They needed me to come in and work... again. Haha man those guys are funny. They don't schedule any of us to work some days, but they end up calling us or wanting us to call in and volunteer our work instead. Yesterday was pretty weird, all of middle management was being pissy because all of the store's administrative management was there (don't get that often) because we were having a visit/inspection from regional administrators or something (get that less). What does this result in you ask? Slave labor. We were expected to pick up guests before they got in lines or something. Yeah right like I'm going to go fishing for guests that hard. Dudes, they gave me a stupid feather duster and told me to dust the joint! What the hey, not cool at all. I rarely dust my room, and they expect me to dust there at work? Haha. That's how bad it got there. What a load. I suppose however, all is well because I bought myself my first DVD. Whoot. What a friggin achievement. I ended up buying myself Heartbreakers. I bought it for the low Target price of $9.20 (after my tax saving discount). Sweeaatt. I'll have to watch it sometime, we'll see when and where. Oh and yes, the soda machine in the breakroom does have Vanilla Coke afterall. Great stuff. It gives change back, too! I once bought something once for 90 cents, and when I went digging for my dime, I came up emptyhanded. Very disapointing, but I guess they fixed that. I also turned in a new availability, asking for more hours.
Mare got in contact with a bunch of us and got us all to agree to go to Berkeley. However when it was time to leave, nobody wanted to drive hahah (as usual, I suppose). After much debating, we decided on going down to Fremond for some good ol pho. It was pretty good stuff. I must however, give a suggestion and warning. You can't drive 50 mph on the freeway. It's not good face, and it's dangerous. We talked a little bit in front of Willy's house, and then went to Carol's house. There we played Trivial Pursuit, but because of all the people (probably) we never finished the game. Oh and there was a molded chocolate cake there that some people ate. The victims? Robert, Carol, and myself. What a bunch of unlucky mofos. I thought it was coconut at first, cuz it looked semi white (turned out to be green on later inspection) and tasted nasty (how I find coconut to be). I swear I had a stomach ache after eating that. Damn me for not checking out my food before gobbling the sucker down. Savage, savage.
Ah yes, the intricacy of the manual transmission. Seems that everyone wants a piece again. Rob and I again put our cars up for test drives. Quite interesting. Carol, Nick, Chris Wong, and Will Yan all took chances. Before that earlier in the day Marian took my car for a roll. I got a few videos, and about 80 percent of them are videos of one of combinations of the following: stalls, jerks, skids, high rpm revs. LOL. Rob and myself probably got bigger stomach aches with the roller coaster ride after the defective cake. As of tonight, here are the following standings in driving the manual transmission among the newbies.
1. Will Yan - Stalls only from dumping clutch from idle rpm. Recommend for advancement to phase II... hills.
2. Marian - Aggressively launches car without little or no skid or jerk. Needs to work on not dumping clutch as quick with aggressively.
___Carol - Looks to have got the basics down.
3. Jhermaine* - Didn't remember too many issues with this character.
___Chester* - Same as above.
4. Nick - Mofo had it first time around few months ago. Lost the ability and has to gain it back.
5. Willy - Good until get to hills. Just can't seem to figure it out. Would be ranked higher if not for sessions on hills. !* Banned *! from handing manual transmission pending notice.
6. Chris Wong - What can I say... practice. Eventually you'll pick up on the ability. Also !* banned *! pending notice.
* = has not compiled enough time nor driving distance to accurately rank
If you want to give driving a manual tranny a try, I think now's the time to inquire before Rob and I change our minds.

Night
Nick, Jhermaine, Will, Rob, B (Brian), and I went to In n Out Burger earlier. B drove all of us in his van and we got to hang out with him haha. The trip was interesting. Anyhow, upon leaving Nick's house I did indeed take a look up into the magical sky. Indeed, the clouds do look peculiar (don't ask if you don't know).

Day
Right now I'm at Nick's house playing either his bro's or Jhermaine's Gamecube. The game at the moment is Smash Brothers. Before this, some of us went to Jensen Ranch Elementary where both Chris Wong and Carol drove both Rob's car and mine. I'm still not sure whether or not it was beginners luck the first time around. Today I also went to rehearsals. I almost made it on time, dangit. Next Monday I'll be on time for sure! It was really hot in there. Whoo. In addition to today, I also went to a place called Target and worked a four hour shift. The air conditioning was fixed (I think), but bah anyways. I swear some days are just longer there than others, regardless of hours worked. Oh well, that's life I suppose. That'll be it for now.

Tuesday
Target called me yesterday morning and told my mom they wanted me to come in and help out. I decided to help out and work a 12:45 PM - 6:00 shift. Wowsers, I haven't worked that long a shift in who knows how long. Anyways, it was really really warm in there. The hot air from outside was indeed hot, half the store's air conditioning was knocked out, and whatever was left of it ate it badly. Dang it was warm up in there. Every other guest was complaining. It's not right or something to have to work in those conditions. Boo. For some reason Will came in and bought sunscreen and a soda... oh well. After "driving really fast" coming back from work, I ate dinner and watched some of the all star game, which ended up in a tie. What's up with that? Tie? Oh well, haha. Dang too bad Bonds got robbed in the first inning. It was a nice catch though. When I walked outside my house, I discovered to find, that's right, Mr. Will Yan standing outside. Damn it's like a curse or something. Anyways we decided on hanging out with Marian and Carol at Carol's house. We all got to spend some nice time together doing stuff, some of which I wont go into. Anyhow I ended up getting home around 2:00 AM or so. Today was a busy day yes, but a fun and enjoyable one. Anyhow work again in less than seven hours. Whooo.

Boring
Yeah stupid blog. It's all being boring and stuff. Sheeze. Boo. Garbage. Bahhumbug. Anyways I'll try to give a quick rundown of what happened for sunday and monday (7-7, 7-8). Sunday. I worked. It started out all good and dandy, but again they had to just piss me off. My immediate supervisor tells me to move down 4 aisles or so onto another lane, claiming "it's too crowded" where I was before. Fine, we'll do it your way. Then the next fellow peon that comes to work shows up to check their lane assignment, and lo (my physics teacher's favorite word), they get placed on the lane where I was kicked off. Omg I was soo mad at the moment. What a load of heavy, stinky rubbish. You'd think with a one year tenure there, they'd respect me some more. Gosh. Not cool at all. It got to the point where a white bump on my hand started forming. That's how mad I was. Then sometime later I tripped over a little kid's plastic chair thing that was a go-back. Weak. Later that night, some of us went to Jelli's house for a bit, and we just hung out and talked and such. Features included Tim wanting a changing screen at Berkeley and Alex talking about a lot of stuff he knew about... like his new system and growing up in Texas. Other's present included Will, Rob, Nick, Amy, Akemi, and Greg. After that Nick and I went to Will's house, where we watched Training Day. Great movie.
Yesterday morning Will woke me up at 10:30 AM. As soon as I got ready and left the house (an hour or so later), we went to CVHS. Before that however, I spent five minutes stuck on the boulevard with construction work. What bad luck! Booo. Anyways I picked Will up and we went to the high school. Haha with summer school lol. Anyways I finally picked up my diploma proving that I graduated from high school! Whoot whoot whoot yay. What an accomplishment lol. Will checked up on the status of his transcript en route to Davis. Apparently the woman is still sending transcripts out at this time. Pretty slow if you ask me. Since not everyone needs a transcript, it shouldn't take that long. We'll say there are 300 people that do. Five minutes max to print, stamp, pack, and lick a transcript. 300 * 5 minutes = 1,500 minutes / 60 minutes an hour = 25 hours / 3 hour workday (uh even giving them 1 hr lunch) = 8.333 days. Summer school has gone on for at least 8 days by now. Weak. Anyways after that I spent a few hours at Will's house, and it is there I got my first play game win on bnet for Warcraft III. Thanks to some help from Will, of course. Score one point for pansy (ask if you don't know). After that I went to Jenny Lin rehersals. As usual it was cool going and practicing our songs and stuff lol. My only gripe would probably have to be the conductor. Since the last two performances were from another director, it's probably just weird having this new person around. I'm sure that if I didn't have experience with the other person I wouldn't be complaining as much as I am. Oh well, great family fun. Note to self: show up on time on Wednesday... people do notice afterall =).

"Stay away from Jerry Lu."
"I want a changing screen."
"It's too crowded here.

This concludes another boring post. Live long and prosper. Goodnight.

Let There Be... Gaming
Well I just spent the last 5 hours or so gaming. Straight from Warcraft Three to Counter Strike, minus a little break in the middle. Good job, me. Whoot. Here are some things to entertain yourself with:
Dibblez. A nice little flash based game with simple graphics and some cute characters. Thanks to Flora for this one.
American Idol. Here's an auditionee making a fool of himself. Damn funny.
Sim Girl. Now this is rather interesting. It's a game where you're a guy, and your goal is to meet a girl (duh), become friends with her, take her out, then eventually become lovers. Kinda stupid, but it takes up time if that's what you need. Personally it took me two attempts to accomplish the goal. The latter two links is compliments of Kenji.

I finally went out and bought Warcraft Three. I'm still in shock considering I spent 65 dollars buying it. The last game I bought must have been Tie Fighter or something and that was back during the days of windows 9x. I don't care what profession you are in nor what kind of gamer you are, but I can't help wonder how much money they're making with this thing. Any overhead and production costs can't run this much. 60 dollars multiplied by the fact that this game has already gone gold = happy and rich executives, programmers, and engineers. To heck with people "deserving" to have my money, but guess what? I bought the game, looks I just dickslapped myself, doh. Oh well, it has been a while since I bought a game, I'll get over it. Now all I have to do is open the stupid box.

Last Two Days
Ah yes. hope everyone had a wonderful 4th. Here's what I did: I woke up sometime then headed out to the local park to hang out with some friends. There we ate some food, played some games, and shared some memories. Sometime in the afternoon we left That night I sat around doing stuff that I had to do, but it turns out I never got around to completing it. Oh well maybe some other time.
Today I woke up getting ready to go out with family and eat lunch, but Tom called me sometime right after I woke up and told me that he and Jhermaine were minutes from my house. We planned on going out to LPC (Las Positas, baby) to pay our fines... err, costs but it turns out those mofo's are closed on Fridays during June and July haha. Weaksauce. Anyhow Jhermaine and I decided to add another class to our schedule, for an unofficial total of four classes, with one more to come later. After I got home from lunch with family, I went to and met up with some friends at the fair. It was good family fun out there. We got to hang out and see a lot of stuff. Highlights of the day included rock climbing (Tom and I), and Jhermaine constantly giving us some good laughs. The lowlights? Nick, Will, Tom, and I went a scored a donut shooting basketballs. A combined 0 for 15 I believe. Boo, I didn't win a fatty prize that I woulda ended up giving to someone else. Sorry.
Reminder to self: wake up, eat lunch (if applicable), go get Warcraft Three. Screw the costs.

Work Work
Booo. Yesterday morning I was awoken with Shai's If I Ever Fall In Love, compliments of winamp alarm. I got up, and I eventually headed off to work. Gee I was bored and tired. Nobody else was working with me, so the day generally sucked. I did however get to choose my own lane, so naturally I took the express lane (because they rarely give me that lane anymore), whoohoo. I bounced out, came home, and stayed home the rest of the day. Played some Warcraft Three some, and some Counter Strike. Somewhere in there Jhermaine and I scheduled our classes for LPC this fall and have managed to sign up for 3 of the 4 classes we'll be taking this semester. Nothings really else has been happening. I did manage to get a few other viewpoints on some topics, and it proved to be rather interesting. Anyhows, I have to hit the shower and do some more things before the night is over.

Target, Rehearsals, Archives
Work today yesterday basically sucked. For some reason it was still busy, but it was hecka hot off the heezy. Good golly every other guest was complaining about the temperature inside the store. A little bit after work I went to rehearsals for Jenny Lin. It was pretty cool (figuritively) and fun hehe. Later last night Flora managed to get my archives up and running, something that I hadn't been able to accomplish. Muchas gracias to you Flora.
