i can't be sleeping here inside my dream
LPC, J-Town, Oakland Pier
Bah, missed the 12:00 AM deadline, that's a streak now. Woke up yesterday kinda early around 10:00 AM. Jhermaine came by around 10:40 or so and we headed out to LPC (on a Friday!) to see the transfer counselor to go over some student education plans (SEP). Jhermaine went first, so I sat and walked around for a bit. Then it was my turn. It pretty much looks like I'm screwed. 20 units next semester, some summer sessions, gonna be hellish. Looks like I'm gonna have anywhere from high 70s to low 80s in units, when the UC cutoff to transfer is 80. Gonna have to look into that. Also, she suggested that I strongly consider staying at LPC at least another half a year, maybe even a year.
What the heck? Under current situations, that would totally suck. I already don't like it there, and I might have to stay longer now? Ugly. Jhermaine then dropped me off at Best Buy. My family ate some Black Angus for lunch, and I had a prime rib. It wasn't as good as the last time I had it, but it was still alright. I then went to Office Depot to buy a mouse, and that I did. After a coupon or two, it costed 35 dollars, rounded. Good deal, I thought. I then went to Target so I could check some schedules. I look at the mouse I just bought, normally 45 dollars, I see for 31 at Target on clearance, weaksauce. Gonna be returning it at Office Depot and buying it at Target, if it's still there. Oh well.
Ah yes, right after picking Kevin up from CVHS and getting home, I almost just as quick headed back out. I changed, then as soon as I got Rob, Jhermaine, Willy, and Will, we started our journey to Japan Town in the city. It's been hecka long since I've been there. We basically just walked around, as there wasn't much to do there. We found some crepe place, and they were hecka good! I myself got a kiwi and whipped cream masterpiece, not bad at all. I looked around all the stores with stuffed animals and the like, and though I saw some real cool (and cute) stuff, I did not see a Domokun! What the heck!? I thought that sucker was popular or something, to bad. After walking around a bit, we left.
We then drove toward's Oakland to go to the restaurant for Willy's bday. What an interesting ride. I think for the first time ever, Willy was lost and did not know where we were going. He kept saying we had to cross a bridge and yadayada. We went back and forth between Oakland and Alameda at least 3 times. Mofo. At least we finally got there. Good food there. I myself had a seafood pasta. Nineteen of us were there, and it was a good time spent celebrating Willy's day. The ride home again was interesting. My car was the last one out of the lot, and only by about 30 seconds at most. I get right on the freeway, at a undisclosed speed, trying to catch up with the other cars, who I guess for the most part were driving just as fast. After getting into San Leandro, I finally catch up and pass Gerald. He was done with. Finally getting back into Hayward and 238, I caught up to WIlly, my real target. We speed up a little more, and finally get on 580. I move to pass him at another undisclosed speed, and I finally do. I stay ahead of him for a while, and while doing this I set myself a new high speed record (ask me if you really want to know), though that's not probably the safest or smartest thing to do. I then slow down because I think he's had enough, but then out of no where he comes up and zooms by for a fly by, resulting in him getting off the freeway first (I later hear he went faster than my record I just set). We make a right off the exit at Center Street, and I get in one of the left turn lanes, thinking we're gonna make this fair and go off the line. But Willy, citing mental advantage, instead goes straight and ends up making an illegal u-turn around the center divider. I thought fine, I'd just catch up with the green coming up soon, but no, I had to stop halfway into the intersection and miss the sensor and the light rotation. Bah. The guy cheats, so I lose. It would have been a good run too. Oh well next time. Now some of us are here at his house. But enough of that, I'm pretty tired. I already fell asleep once earlier.
Happy bday Dailo.
