i don't know how, and i don't know why
I went to class today. Marriage and Family. Today's lecture covered the history of dating. To start things off, we got into groups and had to list the things we look for in potential dates and things we look for in potential mates. As someone pointed out to me, the items in the first list should already be part of the latter. Then the instructor talked about how marriage in the past was basically practiced for economic reasons, and that love was the result of living together and having children, versus today's view, where it is a precursor for marriage. Also discussed were the ideas of romance and intimacy and first dates. It was pretty interesting, but it did somewhat put me to sleep.
I went back to good ol' CVHS today. That place sucks. Driving there, a short trip to office, and driving back = 1 hour. What are those people thinking. Traffic there is horrible. I sat in one spot for 10 minutes in back of the senior lot. And then you have those who must honk their horns and insist that it actually will improve the flow of traffic. Also, what's with a quarter of the school being blocked off or under construction. Janky, that's what it is. Later during the day, I mostly played games (bah), and w atched some US Open tennis and USA basketball beat New Zealand. Then I watched American Idol at night. Though she sings better, there are probably more girls that like the guy then guys who like the girl. I'm sticking with Kelly. I already put in two (hopefully three later) votes for her. Go do the same.
