wonderful, it's fate

Sucky To Good Day
Yep the time is correct tonight. I woke up at 10:00 yesterday morning to go to work, and work I went. Borrring. I was scheduled 11:00 AM - 3:15 PM, but they failed to schedule me somewhere. The camera and sound person ended up not showing up on time, so they asked me to fill in. Boy, time passes by soo slowly there. There's very little work, but I can't stand the pace back there. I did a little zoning here and there, and during break I bought a 75 cent soda! Ahhh. For the last thirty minutes of my shift, I pushed some toilet paper, and other assorted stuff like that. Bahh. And then the old guy tells me I was putting stuff up wrong. Something about not having the right number of faces showing. Man, in such a disorganized section as HBA, there's no point in organizing too well because guests just throw crap around anyways. Get out. Sometime Chester and his family came in to buy some stuff, so I hanged with them for a while, before coming home. On the drive home I indeed confirmed that in fact Willy did not run over the poor squirrel from the night before. I then sat around in my chair for a while (as expected) and spent some time online chatting.

Due to my savage-like driving, it was time to rotate my tires, so my dad and I did. After doing so, I saw David come out of Ken's house, so he came over for a while and we chilled for a bit. We then drove around Palomares, around Pineville a few times (of course) and through the newer townhouses. Eventually we went to Ryan's house to check out his RX7. Nice car. There I bought the box for my sub, at a nice price. All I need now is an amp and wiring kid. Hopefully I'll get out for ~$125. I then returned home to eat dinner.

A lot of people were at Nick's house, so we (me, Tom, Will, Rob, Jhermaine, Kevin, Greg, Gareth, Dave) decided to go to Boomer's (the old Camelot). For some stupid reason, they closed early and we only stayed for an hour. Games I played included bball, Silent Scope 2, SF Rush 2xxx, Jurassic Park, and DDR. Oh yeah, we figured out a way to get mucho tickets playing ski-ball. LOL. Seven more coins and we would have hit my ticket goal of 900 (for this really awesome prize I wanted to trade in for). I ended up with 209, so I was deficient by a count of 691. Eventually, it will happen. I did however, did find a ski-ball on the floor, so I took it as a momento of our new found discovery of how to play the game. During the drive out of the lot, Nick swears some girl in a blue SUV waved at me. I wasn't paying attention.

We decided to then play some billiards. First we drove to Hayward, to go to Shooter's, but when we drove by we saw a whole bunch of ghetto's posting outside, so we decided not to go there haha. We then drove back to CV, where we went to the billiards hall on the boulevard. Greg, Gareth, Dave, and Rob played some table tennis, while Jhermaine / Tom, Nick / Will, Kevin / I played some pool. The first game between the first two aforementioned teams took forever, but eventually Kevin and I got on. Those mofo's had to close to, so we only got one game in, boo. Oh well. After the pool hall we went to Safeway, where some of us got drinks. I was in the slowest line, I swear. The cashier was slow and clumsy (like some at Target, kinda), and the customer wasn't all together, if you know what I mean. We did however, see a brand new dark blue (the shade I like) BMW M3 in the parking lot. That car rocked, but too bad it's three female occupants did not. I was drooling over the car, definately not the crew (wo)manning it.

Now the drive home was interesting. As if it were a sign, right after we pull out of the parking lot, we see two CHP units speed and screech up the street with their lights flashing. For a large portion of time driving back into Palomares, the drive was pretty tame between Dave and I. Around Right-Aid / Center Street, 40+ mph, not too bad. Coming down the long stretch before Crow Canyon, however, I knew it was on. Pull up to the red light, right next to each other. No cars in sight. Anticipate the green... it comes. Drop the clutch from 2500 rpm, not too bad of a launch. Dave dropped it high enough to spin the wheels. Right off line, we're even, his light car is saving him. Halfway up the street before the freeway exit before PW, I'm slightly ahead. The bigger everything has his advantages. By the time we cross the freeway exit and I'm in 2nd gear, somewhere in the mid range power band, I pulled ahead. It's over, he's done. The guy gave up by the time we got to PW. Not even that fast, maybe 50 mph or so at most. Alright so we creep up the street toward Jensen Road. We're rolling to the stop, but I know he wants to go again, but this time we're still rolling, so I have to launch from second (he probably did the same). It was closer this time, but again he can't keep up. A little faster this time, topping out around 70 mph, but not for too long. That's 2 of 2 me, 0-2 him. Owned. We get to Nick's house, and Dave is forced to eat it up. He claims to have missed a shift. Okay I believe you, this time. It does happen, I've experienced it.

Alright we're at Nick's house now. By now Greg and Gareth have left. A little while earlier Will and Jhermaine leave. Mostly everyone else takes turn playing Mario Sunshine, haha. Man that Mario character is funny. Belly diving, his laugh, and his nose... LOL. All while everyone talks various things. Okay maybe not so various. You get the idea. It was a pretty good time. Nick's rabbit had to go to the bathroom every ten minutes or something, and his bird tried to break out of it's cage. The last of us left around 2:45 AM or so. So since then, I've sat around. Oh during my inactivity, Kevin opens his blinds and tells me to do the same. I do, and a pleasant surprise was outside. Turns out a family (of deer) was out for a stroll. How very nice it was. I just hope they didn't leave any crap (literally) in my front yard. In some places it stinks out there. I tried to take some pics, but alas, auto ISO 300 max is not match for night time shots. Oh well. I should sleep now, and wake up in six hours or so. If you ask me what I did the last 1.5 hours, and I wont know. This sucker took 30 minutes to type, and semi-proofread.

"It can't be that easy."
"For once, I think I'll have to agree with David."
-"I know half the people at Chabot."
- "That's cuz you been there a long time.
-"I've only been there one year."
- "Well when you're only there for two max, one is a long time.
"Don't give me that best friend garbage. You only need one best friend. I don't need ten."

Good morning!
