i'm just telling you that i gotta be

Oh man my black Friday was a busy one. Let's see, first I woke up before 7:00 AM! Wholy crap, that's early. Whoever thought about 7:30 start time's for school is a moron, and 8:00 isn't much more civilized. Anyways, we (Kevin, Tom, Will, and Rob) finally got a move around 8:00, first heading out to Office Max. Nothing there, so we left. Then we went to the mall. Walked around some, but didn't get much. As research has proven, the pretty girls are not at the mall in the AM hours. Boo. Did see Allen though up at J Crew. No, it wasn't an acceptable substitute. After the mall we went to Target, where some interesting things happened there. The cart well was completely emtpy at one point, and poor Nick was a bag slave. We then went to some shoe place in the same center as Gingiss. Best Buy was next, followed by lunch, which turned out to be Quiznos.

Ah after lunch we headed out to Hercules to see Phillip and Tim. First we stopped by Staples, to no avail. The trek to Hercules was made, followed by the trip back. The return destination was Hayward, so we hanged around there for a few hours, inside the mall among other places. After coming home and showering, I headed out to Will's house where we watched that Lil Bow Wow movie Like Mike. I was too tired to remember much of it, so I'll refrain from comment.

So in a period of twenty one hours, I traveled maybe 200 miles (15 dollars), made many laps (5 dollars), bought a new pair of shoes (70 dollars), a cd (10 dollars), some lunch (six dollars), paid off some debts (7 dollars), made a little money (+10 dollars), and helped myself feel better. Total monetary cost (plus some extras): ~$125. The memories made: priceless.

Not bad, not bad. The first of two long days is over. One more long day ahead. I'm going to be working on six hours sleep it looks like.

The issue here is not loyalty, nor is it integrity. It's the value of giving your word. Also, just to clarify, man is a being with a mind that thinks and acts for itself. Nobody lives on a leash here.
