you never see me fall apart
in the words of a broken heart
Woke up heckaf too early today. After I got up at 11:00 AM or so I worked my tail off writing an essay arguing that the lack of character of development at school is not offset by the academic and financial gains of a meritocratic ethos. Basically, character is at least as imporant than what is accomplished at school. I really do believe that; no bs in this essay.
Class was pretty boring. I tell you our english instructor is whack. Today we were peer editing papers, and everyone was finished with like twenty minutes left in class. Our class fears the wrath of the instructor so everyone just sat there for ten minutes, when finally someone got up and started packing, but only to be shot down by the instructor who said we had ten minutes left. Whack.
In psych we went over our test questions for the big test next week. Groups traded questions, and made many corrections to either questions or the answer keys. Our group's answer key was way off, haha. Precalc is officially hard now. Half angle, double angle, more crap like that now. Gonna have to study for this one.
The rest of this week and the next week is going to be so hectic. I have hellav crap to do. No weekend for me. Way too much stuff. There's something to do for every class. All good, smooth sailing on the horizon, sorta.
Oh man, high school kids.
From my essay:
"Today the lack of extracurricular activities and ethos of manhood isn’t prevalent simply because students aren’t as interested in such things. Perhaps to students, being president of a club is more important and prestigious on a resume than being a captain of a sports team, all of which depends on the person’s character. It can be argued that both positions of authority are just as important and virtuous as the other, as many of the responsibilities that come with both are similar."
"Don't mess with me today, I'm a depressed man."
Me: "What are you going to give me?"
Ken: "My wisdom."
Hahaha, loser.
Choios (11:31:34 PM): you're not the big brother u should be
