i miss you like crazy
Crappers three hour lecture on naming compounds. That was pretty boring. Then that freaking cs lab haha. I tell you man, just missing like one bracket or one else statement and the whole program turns janky. I didn't really feel tired from the four hours sleep. If I fell asleep, it's cuz the classes are boring. Got the cs test back. Again the math screwed me over. Take that section out, and it would have been butter. One more set of classes, then weekend.
Egg Drop
Flash based game where you try to catch eggs from a chicken. Score 300 points and get a free something from the company. My high score is 235.
Some noteworthy basketball scores:
Pistons 85
Lakers 95
Rockets 98
Wizards 100 OT
Whoot.
(1) Arizona (21-2) 88
(21) California (19-5) 75
Arizona State (17-8) 77
(19) Stanford (21-6) 88
I caught a little of the Cal game... but from seeing these two scores, yay.
StrikeoutK (10:19:40 PM): your team just lost sucka
brakUdwn11 (10:19:48 PM): shut up fool
More with Willy and I:
Wai108 (1:41:55 AM): she should just go out with you and everything would be solved
Wai108 (1:51:39 AM): you better stuff them back down there
Wai108 (1:51:50 AM): better lock it up and throw it down the sea
Wai108 (1:53:04 AM): maybe one day you will run into the girls of your dreams
Wai108 (1:53:06 AM): literally

Happy bday to... me. Yep turned 19 yesterday. Another useless age haha. Still can' legally buy alcohol. Oh well. Thanks everyone for the phone calls and IM's wishing me a happy birthday. I made my wish over my cheesecake. Let's see if it comes true.
Took the cs midterm yesterday. It wasn't that bad. The punk teacher tried to trick us though at the part where we had to write what would be outputted on the screen. He didn't put any endl's in his code so there weren't supposed to be any line breaks. Ate lunch with Tom, Jhermaine, and Kristen at In-N-Out. Jhermaine made fun of me, but thanks for the lunch. As for the calc test, the class got owned, as expected. The mean was somewhere between 50-55 %, which turns out to be a C. Only four people got A's. Nobody got higher than a C+ precurve. Then again, who cares about precurve. Time to do really well on the makeup. Oh. Those mofos that did good already better not take the redo.
Dialogue between Willy and I:
Wai108 (2:18:27 AM): you are pretty greedy
Wai108 (2:20:23 AM): kk is obviously not a realistic real gf
Wai108 (2:20:30 AM): she's more like a few weeks kind of thing
StrikeoutK (2:20:33 AM): LOL
StrikeoutK (2:20:45 AM): who are you and what have you done with willy?
Wai108 (2:21:04 AM): i'm just joking
Wai108 (2:21:11 AM): i have to say it in your terms
Wai108 (2:21:14 AM): for you to understand
StrikeoutK (2:21:22 AM): hhaaha
StrikeoutK (2:21:29 AM): punk
Wai108 (2:21:50 AM): where respect and girls don't go in the same sentence for you
Wai108 (2:21:57 AM): its just "oh look at those _____"
Wai108 (2:22:02 AM): "dang check out _____"
Wai108 (2:22:06 AM): "i'd ____ her"
StrikeoutK (2:22:12 AM): hahahaha
StrikeoutK (2:22:17 AM): you bastard
Wai108 (2:22:22 AM): tis true
Wai108 (2:24:58 AM): i mean you were almost a decent human being for a while
Hahaha, during the days I didn't swear or get mad at anyone.
Wai108 (2:33:20 AM): haha although your mistakes are funny to watch
StrikeoutK (2:33:24 AM): man
StrikeoutK (2:33:26 AM): and costly
Wai108 (2:33:27 AM): i can learn a little myself
StrikeoutK (2:33:44 AM): enlighten me on how i've enlightened you
Wai108 (2:33:51 AM): how not to treat girls
mom: my wish is
dad (interrupting): it's not your wish today
Lol.

Watched In The Bedroom yesterday afternoon. Frank, a high school graduate, falls in love with a young single mother, Natalie, whose husband (they're separated) is jealous. Frank's parents try to warn him of his situation, but do their part to only advise but not impede. The movie flows along in the beginning, only to make your heart suddenly stop just like that. After a very sad incident, the movie starts panning around, and fades out from scene to scene setting the mood of the rest of the story for Frank's parents. Things get from bad to worse when they start blaming each other for their son's death. All of this leads to a very good and well acted finale. Good movie in my opinion. That, and it was up for a Best Picture Academy Award last year.
Did not do anything productive. Couldn't and didn't. Watched some tv, noticeably Smallville. As Reod said, Lana isn't getting a lot of airtime anymore, haha. Also, I'm starting to daydream again, hahaha. Not good. I was brushing my teeth after I showered, and off my mind went. Crap.
rets0022 (4:51:28 PM): ice cream and movie? oy... sounds like a girls way to get over something...
Auto response from StrikeoutK (4:51:28 PM): ice cream + movie of some sort

Dudes. Yesterday was "uber" weaksauce. Got back the chem and bio tests I took last week. C'd both of them. Then again, I didn't study, so it's kinda know that my knowledge alone is good enough to pass, haha. Then again, I'm not at a real school, so I can't just pass my classes. Boo. Dang I'd make a fine addition at a real school, haha.
Took my first ever calc test yesterday. One word required: (got) owned. There were I think nine questions, and I didn't know how to do about 6.5 of them. At least the majority of the class shared the same feelings as me. You all know how I usually swear and curse at a test if I don't get it, right? Well I remember hearing other people saying stuff like "this is bullshit" (oh them quotes, yeah baby) and "this is too ridiculous." The class agrees that the instructor sucks. I'm pretty sure he's a genious out at Livermore Labs, but in the classroom setting he is the sauciest of the weaksauce. At one point during the test, a girl walked up to the front of the class, turned in a clean test, a barely used scratch paper, and proclaimed that she couldn't do anything on the test. This was < 15 minutes after the test was passed out. That's how the class is. I would like to say now that I, and my classmates, are screwed.
Quotes from the dazer:

[22:35] bangbus
[22:35] oh

Target called today. Those mofos. I told the guy that I wasn't able to show up yesterday. Morons. Anyways. Did jack squat the whole day! Yay. I hate the notion of having no NBA on NBC though anymore. I mean, kicking back on the bed, watching a NBA tripple header to waste away feels great and is relaxing. I sat around and lounged around, which is always fun. The Grammy's came along, and I watched a little bit of the first hour. Then Alias came on, and I tuned into that instead. I love that show. I love Jennifer Garner. No idea where that show's heading plotwise, but I still love it! Some chatting, head banging, and crappy feelings later, the day was finished.
After the right motivations, my super long blog will be up very shortly.
From the ARF Homepage:
sb-25: If you were to play 1v1 against all the members of ARF, who do you feel would give you the hardest time?
wtghaha: most likely it would be pansy, simply because i would try to win only using peons
For all of you that don't know W3, that would be pretty embarrasing getting beat by only peons.

Basketball
Yesterday at 2:00 or so in the afternoon I reported to the basketballl courts to shoot hoops. Basically it was the Kings fans versus the Lakers fan in best of seven series, kinda. Teams didn't stay constant throughout the games, with people leaving, and some not showing up. Regardless, it was the closest thing we've had to a Kings vs Lakers game, so it was okay in that sense. After a grueling seven games series consistening of close games played to thirteen points, the Kings fans came out on top. Oh well. Rematch sometime. Yes, I was pretty pissed. I destroyed two regular sized water bottles, a can, and a gallon sized water bottle in a display of rage, haha. I also picked up a trash can and was going to destroy that too before Kevin convinced me otherwise. But yes, that is me on the court/field. I'll talk smack (well, I d anyways, but whatever) and all that good stuff. Play to win, no mercy, no cherity please. Bumped and hurt? Play through it. But I do leave it all on the court/field. What happens there stays there. Unless people cheat. Then that really upsets me. However today, we simply got beat.
Charity Ball 2003
Hahaha so after the bball games, everyone was to go home, shower, get changed, etc. and go to the Toy's house sometime between 5:30 and 6:00. By the time we left the courts it was like 5:15, and I'm always late, you know, lol. Anyways, so we get there, and we heads out toward SF Marriott, with Nick, Will, and AJ riding in my car. I gave my rendition of "Freak It." Traffic on the bridge. Jittery. We eventually find the hotel on the second lap. Luckily I found a parking spot that was only a block from the hotel. Yay for that. We walked in around 7:20 or something.
After a little trouble deciding where to sit, we settled in and just started to dig into the salad before some person started talking. Blah blah blah, so eventually the rest of the food comes. Not bad, I suppose. But then again, mass produced pre-planned dishes are only so good you know? So yeah, ate the food, then they started playing some music. Eventually everyone made their ways to the floor, grooved in their own little way, and stuff like that there. Sometime in the middle we took a group picture. Then we hit the floor again. In accordane with nature and the way of things, someone has to look like an idiot. I was glad to fill in that role. Oh. Also, at sometime I made out a call for the CS radio command C+3. AJ in the meantime, got his game on kinda, but I'd just like to say that he's a liar. =/ And it was kinda dark up in there. Fortunately, I did not lose any money during the night. Except for the stupid bridge toll that I paid. What's up with that? I also took one of Will's Motrin pills, haha. You know, them headaches are so contagious.
The car ride home wasn't that bad, except for Nick, AJ, and Will squished up in the back seat because Flora took the front seat. The radio basically sucks now, but the guys did a good job of not really pissing me off or anything while I was driving, although there was a lot of yacking coming up from front. =p Surprisingly quick the drive was, and I didn't even speed. Not that I could or anything. We went back to the Toy household, and hung out for a while. After taking AJ home and dropping Nick off, I made a quick lap around Pineville before getting in the door a bit after 2:00.
Uh according to Nick I might be scheduled to work in six hours from now. If they call me, I'm gonna tell them that I wont be going in, haha. In other news, two unrelated things now seem to be more definate now.

Get Your Freak On
Oh so you all know about Palo Alto High School administrators banning freaking at school dances now. Read pre and post dance related articles:
Students 'freak' out over dirty dancing ban
Student dance turnout low after offcials ban 'freaking'
My opinion? Give me break. This is a high school we're talking about. A rule like this is unacceptable. If this were a middle school, then something like this would totally would be warranted. How can parents be worried about "demeaning positions for boys and girls" when they themselves at this age were getting married? Isn't physical bump and grindin' and pretending to have sex better than having sex in their eyes? If it were "demeaning" to kids, then why are kids doing it? Oh well. Let's learn how to Waltz instead!

Getting Old
Hahaha man I'm getting old. The last two nights that I've planned to blog I haven't because I was too tired. Anyways school the last two day, a few labs here and there, oh well. Yesterday's chem quiz was pretty funny, it was a question about the second electron subshell in an atom, and we had to write the correct name and quantities. I accurately guessed (no j/k on that part) S, P, and 2, 6. Only cuz I went over this stuff two years ago. Maybe I will start doing well in chem now; gettting away from that whack (and useless) conversion stuff to actual chem. Oh well.
Yesterday after getting out early from chem, I went to Costco to do two things. One, to fill up on gas (my freaking third Friday in a row getting gas), and two, to go dvd shopping. I picked up Romeo and Juliet and Moulin Rouge for eight dollars each! Score. Then I went to the mall to walk around, but I didn't buy anything.
Played some two on two bball later in the day, to practice for today's big game. Tom and I played Nick and Jhermaine. After winning the first game, we dropped the last two. Basically blown out in the second game, and third game lost by the dreaded minimum two. Opponents managed to adjust their game plan and adapt. Oh well, the Lakers will win later today. That or I'm gonna throw my shoe at the fence again.
Basketball and Charity Ball today. Guess which one I'm hoping rips net, and which one ends up a clank.

why live life from dream to dream?
Two tests today. Surprisingly felt that I did better on the chem test than the bio test. Chem was a bunch of mc and some conversion factors crap like that. Thanks go out to my calculator. Bio was freaking like 86 mc questions and some fill in the blanks. Way more detail than I thought it would be. Almost felt like a final from the high school days. I distinctively remember losing my concentration during the bio test and faling into daydreaming lapses at least four times. Haha. At least those were fun. Instead of sleeping, I just started dreaming while I was aweake.
I so wanted to go home after cs class. But I had calc first. I swear that calc teacher. His "you have to play a game" and the "I claim that" blahblahblah. Games imply something fun, so with that definition of fun, calc != fun. Then he starts teaching us new stuff that isn't going to be on next weeks test. I was taking notes and when I found out that it wasn't going to be on the test, I put the pencil down and started spacing out. I dropped my eraser, and never found it. Boo. That mofo also docked me 2 points on my quiz for not going back and reversing the steps in my proof to show that it works. OBVIOUSLY it's freaking reversable if all the previous steps involved some sort of algebra. To basically make sure the proof works, would require to write the exact same thing over again, just in the inverse order. What's up with that? Give me a break.
So the Bachelorette was on earlier. I already talked about it, but I guess there's always room for jello. A few weeks back I said that the whole thing is pretty jacked up, with all those guys going in knowing that there's a near definate chance that they'd be going home earlier. They also knew that the farther they came along and the higher up on the ladder (there's that freakin' ladder again) they got, the farther down they would fall and the more it would hurt. Sure Charlie says he wishes the best and he only wanted to be with her if it was meant to be, but I'm pretty sure inside he's shot. If I were him I'd jump after watching the vidoes of the episodes. I'm pretty sure everyone thought he was going to come out on top. Oh well. Like I said, good luck to both of them. Trista was talking about making babys and grandbabys. Hopefully they make it past four months.
Oh crap, need to wake up five hours.
[00:04] who are your guys's date?
[00:05] right hands
[00:05] haha
[00:05] damn i didnt expect that out of you
[00:05] hahaha
[00:05] fine

Omg did you all just catch The Bachelorette? What a freaking surprise. Totally unexpected outcome. I was totally expecting Trista to choose Charlie, especially with the way he vibed with her parents. Instead she goes for Ryan, the quiet romantic! The guy even asked her dad for her hand. That's some old fashionedness right there. But like I was telling Ken, it shows a bit into who you are and where you come from. Score one for the (insert adjective, then noun). I was totally cheering at the tv when he proposed. At one point I almost cried. That was special. Good luck to them both!

it's my fault that it fell apart
Hahaha I'm so good at wasting time. I absolutely had nothing to do today; didn't even change out my pjs. Nice. The only thing I had to do was study for two tests, and I just finished doing that. It was a nice day out, too. What a bummer. Life's pretty boring. It's like I don't do much on weekends, and my weekdays are pretty mucph routine. I kinda miss the drama and problems from back in the day. The "did you hear"s and "who likes who"s and the secret behind-the-back conflicts. Man, now that I think about it, those were pretty fun. Try to satisfy the people you want to satisfy, and hate on the one's you don't even really know, haha. Something to occupy the mind, I suppose. Boy, now I'm just finding an excuse not to sleep.
So Tuesday's suck. Way too much crap to watch on tv in one sitting. I need two tv sets or something. Yes, the Lakers beat the Rockets in an exciting double overtime game, but I missed a big chunk of Smallville, and caught only a few choice selections from American Idol. I'm basically not even watching the Gilmore's or JAG anymore. Major suckage. At least it was a good game.

don't it make you sad about it?
Went out to Best Buy, Comp Usa, Target, and some Corner's store with Charles yesterday. He was looking for some computer stuff, I some poster hangers. He didn't find anything he was looking for, and I didn't find any hangers. I eventually settled on 3M double sided sticky things, which splendidly, works. Don't remember doing much last night.
Woke up freaking late today. I should study or something. Nah, I'll do that later. Maybe I'll watch a movie or something. Then again, it's Tuesday, so there's already stuff to watch on tv tonight. Oh yeah, the Rockets are at Staples tonight. Kobe and Shaq 40 and 40, anyone? That would be nice.
YAY I finally put the posters up. Beautiful. Now that's sexy. Arf.

all of these things people telling keep messing with my head
Gave myself seven hours of sleep. Didn't do much for the next hour except watch some basketball and golf action. Pretty late in the afternoon and Jhermaine, Willy, and I went to the mall to meet up some people, and after that we went to Office Max for Jhermaine to look at a dvd rack that he didn't buy because no cabinet in the world is only 6 inches long. Then we went to Michael's so I could look for poster hangers. They didn't have any. We then went driving in Dublin to look for a place that might sell them, but we never found it. By now Willy was being Bart-like and annoying, so we went home.
Watched a little bit of The Music Man and the Married With Children reunion. Dude, those were some pretty funny memories.

i tossed my coin to say in love with me you'd stay
So I woke up at like freaking 9:30 yesterday morning to play badminton, but I didn't leave the house until 11:00 anyways, haha. Basically I coulda slept an hour longer. But I didn't leave til then cuz nobody was getting any playing time anyways. I got there and within a very short amount of time, there was some sort of argument with two kids, a guy and a girl, and the guy was getting punked around by the girl, hahahaha. I mean it's like, no one's gonna hit a girl or anything, but shoot, you can't get get pushed around either. Oh well. Nick and I played 3 three games, and lost two, hahaha. But it was fun, and that's all that matters right? At one point AJ started talking way too much smack, so we had to settle it on the court. Students, please sit back down in your seats.
Went home, ate lunch, and around 2:30 or so headed out to the rec to play some basketball with the guys. Yeah, hardcore, baby. Badminton then basketball. I was doing alright in the half court game, but when we started running full court with some other people things went downhill. You know things are bad when I try to play d and I still get dunked on. Oh heck no you did not just do that.
After a quick shower, Chester, Tracy, Nick, Tom, and I went to the San Jose Event Center to watch the Titan Games. Basically it's a pre-Olympic venue showcasing many sports like wrestling, boxing, various forms of sparring, fencing, and weightlifting. Pretty craz athletes up in there. Some dude cleaned and jerked over 500 pounds. And I thought 135 was pretty difficult back in the day. My highilght of the day, however, was a wrestling match. Not only did one wrestler literally pick up his opponent and body slam him, he did it twice! The result? A technical knockout victory, haha.
Dinner was pho at Milpitas Square. We then went to Fantasia for some drinks, but they were closed. Weaksauce. Then we settled on some other place. First they run out of bobas, err. Then they say they're coffee machine for my coffee milk tea isn't working right. I end up with a normal milk tea. Boooo.
The guys came by my house for a while. Basically it was a few hours worth of shooting the bull. The last of them left a tad before 4:30 in the morning. I slept around 5:30.
Okay so I'm sore like a mofo in a few places. Good thing I have three days to recuperate.
Dude, someone wrote a 2000+ word blog the other day. Jeez.
Looks like no one wants to see Daredevil. =(
"Enjoy the ride."
-"The ride only lasts ten minutes."
"Err, the figurative ride."

stop putting dreams in my head
Haha, woke up a bit past noon yesterday. It was great stuff. Great baby. After everybody got home, we decided to shoot some pool for a while. Before meeting everybody at Wiill's house, I stopped by Hollywood Video to see what's on sale. There was the two for fifteen sale, but all the movies sucked. I did see Summer Catch on the shelf, but turns out it was in the wrong place. =\ Maybe an hour and a half of shooting pool, we decided to eat at Genghis Khan. Well, that's like the only buffet in town or something, so it was packed. We stopped by Hollywood video to walk around. It's packed there too on Friday nights. Apparently many couples like to stay home and rent movies or something. We then went to Albertson's to buy some drinks for dinner, since it makes no sense to buy drinks from Asian restaurants, unless it's the specialty drinks. Anyways, the buffet. Everyone pretty much filled themselves full of food. Some guys tried some stuff they usually don't ate. I got hooked up by the sushi guy. Too bad I be wasting my luck on getting food. Bah. Dude, those old asian ladies. Mean when it comes down to a newly set bowl of lobster. Savages. After going back to Will's house to hang for a while, we all left. Not before his mom made fun of all of us for being there and not having girlfriends, of course. Oh, the horror. *sigh* Charles came by my houes for a bit.
Open gym tomorrow? We'll see. Pretty busy day as it is planned already.
At least V-day was good to at least two people. Punks.

I just dropped my keyboard, causing it to break. Now I'm using some janky Packard Bell one. Sucks big time. I loved my old school spring-action style keyboard from the 80's. I wonder if I can find one lying around.

so many little games silly people play
Hahaha so I got owned by a graphing assignment in chem yesterday morning. Oh well. Then I spent that hour reviewing stuff I shoulda mastered in the 5th grade. CS lab. OMG. It took me four hours to write the freaking program. The assignment in the book was easy; taking thirty minutes or so. It's the crap that the teacher modified that made it hard. Weaksauce and a half. After classes I headed over to Walmart, and they finally had Cruel Intentions 2 on sale there. So I ended up buying a copy, and one for Jhermaine as well. I also bought thirteen hangers for 88 cents. Yay.
By now I was around 6:00 and I hadn't eaten anything all day since breakfast. Generally not a good thing, even when dieting, not that I am or anything. Which reminds me that my new license came in the mail the other day, and I just realized I changed the weight, but not the height. Oh well. Maybe I did notice that earlier. I forget. Watched some bball, read the paper, and that's about it.
Watched the usual Thursday shows, with one new exception, Are You Hot? You know how sometimes you watch shows just for all the pretty people in them? Well basically this show exploits that fact. That's the idea anyways. I mean there are some people on the show and it's like, dang just know your place and where you stand in the grand scheme of things. Most of us in the real world do. There were basically 2.5 hot chicks up in there. Sometime during the show I started cleaning out my closet. Sorta. The job remains unfinished.
The stupid posters aren't here yet. Apparently Airborne got it on the 11th, only to hand it over to the USPS on the 13th. All of this happening in Oakland. Why not just take a look at the zip code and ship it my way already? Shoot.
Got out of the shower in time to catch Jennifer Garner on Conan. As Ken put it: [01:06] wow, jennifer garner looks hot. I would have to completely concur. Arf. However, there was rain on his parade: [01:09] WHOSE HER HUSBAND? [01:09] scott foley [01:10] WTF. I'm pretty sure you can guess who was the one in caps.
I will be waking up no earlier than 10:00 AM later today.

sing out the song and i'll be there
Well you all know about the accident today. Sucks. I can't really remember what happene today. I know for my little break between classes I went to the student center to do a little studying with some others. Costco for lunch. Jhermaine's trying to make me feel bad. Boo. I swear that calc teacher thinks he's teaching himself or something. Why didn't someone tell me earlier that proving limits is basically just algebra. And why couldn't the guy just say that epsilon is the point, and delta is the range that epsilon can fall between. Noo. Instead he has to use words like "tolerance" and crap. Weaksauce.
Guy's tell all of the Bachelorette earlier. I swear these Wednesdays are becoming difficult as well, trying to figure out what to watch. Did anyone else catch Dawson's earlier? I don't know about you, but Katie Holmes is one major cutie in my eyes. The arf is definately for real.
We did however, just have a nice little multi person discussion on war.
One more day of class left, yay. Got the rest of my New Year's money and now half of my bday money. Yay ^(x--->inf).
Excellent job on the new record of uniques. For some reason I'm not even sure if those numbers are real anymore, haha. 55 back on Tuesday, the 11th.

Uhhh, traffic on the freeway, dangit. Some stupid armored car ran into the barricade or something, causing a backup. I got to school like ten minutes ago, and since my teacher just sucks like that I just said screw it, I'm not going to class. Oh well.

and a thousand violins start to play
Stupid LPC called me yesterday morning to tell me that my counseling appointment was cancelled. Gahhh. So I slept some more, haha. I ended up getting out of bed around 11:30 or so, changing clothes and stuff before heading out to Walmart out in Pleasanton. They still didn't have the poster I wanted, so I drove out to Livermore. They had the poster that I wanted, so I bought it. Yay. However, they dit not have any poster hangers, so I drove back to Pleasanton to buy the hanger. Lol. All that work for a psoter. "You don't even try that hard for a girl", I was told. Pfft. Not even close to true. No Walmart, however, had the movie that I was looking for. They're not so good on keeping shelves full of stock. But who cares, they're cheaper than Target.
Went to library to get some more movies. The lady even gave me the stuff under my brother's card even though I didn't have the card. Came home, began to clean my room, but didn't finish. Duh. That project is going to take forever. My posters from allposters.com finally shipped, so that's good. I need to go buy hangers for those too now. Oh baby.
Watched some tv at night, and that was it.
Well now, the last two nights have been pretty active in #arf. Looks like def jam comedy hour is making a return or something. It's all Kevin's fault he had to bring up something about the kids at high school and for some reason I started getting bagged on, haha. Oh well. All in good fun. Somewhere in there I decided to write a book, as long as someone gives me an outline of what they want. Sure, I'll write it, but I don't want to have to think about it too much.
The first poster to go up in my room.
It's a freaking skirt/sarong/shaw, not a dress.

Whoot
You guys are totally awesome. A new record of 50 uniques was set back on Sunday. Keep it up!
Walked into chem class late, again. Out of four morning sessions a week, I show up late maybe half the time, maybe even 3 times. Sucks big time. Losing quiz and homework points, hahaha. If I were a good student, I'd be starting to get embarrsed by now. Alas, I'm no good student. Duh.
Calc we went over some limit proofs or something. I think I'm finally starting to get it.
Anyways. Jhermaine started talking, as usual. But unusually he got me worried about two things. The first I wont really get into, but as for the second, he's gonna get my butt kicked now. Boo. Where he pulls some of his stuff, I know not.
Lol someone called my cell earlier asking if I still wanted a cab or something.
50+ dollars for a dozen carnations. Jeez. Obviously I have not bought flowers on V-day before.

StrikeoutK (12:11:10 AM): damn thanks for the confidence builder

so now you know how i feel, baby
Work work worked today. Apparently the remodeling phase has begun. They built a janky new door, and blocked off the old ones, kinda. The front lanes were moved to a different spot, and the carts have been moved to a janky spot. Oh well. Sometime in the beginning I destroyed a cone and pushed the fence back two feet. I guess I'm too strong or something, cuz apparently everytime I pushed the carts against the shelf thing, it'd move back. Pretty soon I had pushed the shelf into the next shelf 3 feet behind it. Oops. They want me to call the boss about my time off requests for the next two weekends. Weakstuff. Bah. Chex Mix are on sale for 99 cents a bag, so I bought three.
Went to Walmart after work, haha. Stuff is so much heckav cheaper there. I mean the place is pretty janky and disorganized, but the stuff is cheaper. I should shop there more. Every poster at Walmart is only 4 dollars! What?! They even had the new Dare Devil one's I was looking at! But alas, they didn't have the Jennifer Garner one. Tis a tragedy. The Dublin one also didn't have the movie that I was looking for, so I ended up not buying anything. No problem though, I will later this week, hopefully anyways.
All Star game was earlier. It's about time Jordan retires, he can't run anymore with the other superstars. The Wizards dress that Mariah Carey was wearing was awesome. The game was alright, going into double overtime. If only the west put in Nowitzki instead of Francis. It would have been an awesome lineup with everyone being like seven feet tall. Fun game to watch.
Omg Alias is freaking off the hook. I love that show. It's like my favorite show now to watch. All the cliffhangers. Great stuff.
Three days of school this week. The way it should be. Gah.
Okay pics from my field trip are up, go take a gander.
Apparently Garrett just heard about/read the ladder. An excerpt from his webpage http://www.retardedman.com:
This part doesn't come from that page but it stays within the theme:
The question was, What does "Just Friends" mean?
It means; "I don't just want you to mourn the loss; I want to remind you of it every day. I want you to suffer. I want you to envy. I want you to die slowly, a bit at a time. And I want you to smile and thank me for it."
If you're a woman and reading this, and I am on your "friends ladder", please never talk to me again.
Hahaha. Harsh.
So then I messaged him the next day:
StrikeoutK (4:29:49 PM): damn you and the ladder
StrikeoutK (4:29:52 PM): i never wanted to read that again
hippotardimus (4:29:53 PM): the ladder is my religion
hippotardimus (4:30:00 PM): i was a cuddle bitch
hippotardimus (4:30:04 PM): and if i had only known
hippotardimus (4:30:11 PM): i probably still would have cuddled
hippotardimus (4:30:12 PM): hahahahahha
No comment necessary.
[16:24] why didn't you take a pic of the one you were talking to?
[16:24] battery died
[19:40] lpc = high school +
[19:40] lpc = high school with ash trays
Howabout lpc = sucks.

Nice lyric, imho.
Hahaha didn't do much of all yesterday. Gave myself 8.5 hours of sleep. Didn't want to get greedy on weekends, else throw off my sleeping schedule. Sat around most of the day, but did begin to clean around the house a bit. Cleared out some closet space, which is nice so I can actually use one whole door for clothes and the other door for junk. I have maybe one hour's left work there. Boo. Went to the library today to drop off some due dvds. Didn't borrow anymore though.
As Will said, NBA Saturday day was dominated by California. Dang, that sophomore game. Both Warrior guards owned it up, and was giving a shooting exhibition. Three point shootout was won by Stojakovic. I swear that guy shoots the lights out. I hate his shot mechanics, but he's good. As for the finale of the night, JRich put on a great show in the dunk contest by repeating as the champion with a sick dunk. I can't wait for the All-Star game later on today.
Evening rolled around, and some of us finally decided to shoot some billiards. Teams were Nick and Tom vs Kevin and I. Kevin and I won a best of five series 3 to 1. Oh fosho. Game two took 30 minutes, but oh well. We were playing for a Starbucks coffee. How nice it was. Kevin for some reason didn't know we were playing for coffee till midway through game three. Noob. We stopped by Starbucks till it closed, then went to Tom's house for a while to chill.
Sorry for the lack of drama lately. Hence the boring posts. Let me go find someone to like or someone to hate or something. There's an off chance that things will get spicier in weeks to come.

Año Nuevo
Hahhaha so I fell asleep or something in my chair for like an hour. Crap. And I took a super hot shower cuz it was freezing.
Anyways. Sea elephants. Yay. First in chem class I got back some homework, and while I got a decent grade on it (uh homework is graded?), there was a suggestion that I visit the instructor during her office hours to work on my conversions or something. Okay, I can do that. Conversion factors. Useless. Teach me how to calculate something useful. But forget that let's talk about my journey through the boonies.
I stopped by Costco to buy a polish dog and soda for my lunch, and I end up leaving around 10:30 in the morning. I crossed the San Mateo Bridge around 11:15, paying the two dollar toll. Omg the single lane 92 freeway is ghetto. No trucks should be allowed on single laned highways! Jeez. Pch (highway 1) was a bit funner to drive, because of all the passing lanes and such. Eventually I got to where I was supposed to be, at around 12:10 PM. Little bit over 1.5 hours to get there, not bad. Woulda made it there faster if it weren't for those stupid slow trucks.
So yes, apparently I was there in the fifth grade, because I remember seeing some things in the visitor's center. We hiked along a trail to a staging area before actually setting out to see the elephant seals. I tell you, those suckers are pretty lazy. They just lie around and throw dirt on themselves. The weather was freaking nice, even a tad bit too hot actually, so I can see why they were being lazy. Nonetheless they were still fun to watch. Got to see a few testosterone-generated fights, some good ol doin it "like they do on the Discovery Channel" style. At one point, a pup that was lying on the top of a little hill lost his balance and slid off the hill, into a ditch, hahaha. Noob. Man, the life of being an alpha male elephant seal. Eat, sleep, and mate. Fosho.
I think around 2:30 or so the tour was over with, so I left and started driving north on pch. My cousin had told me about a little beach a few miles north called Bean Hollow to check out some tide pools, so I stopped by there. Unfortunately I didn't find any tide pools, because to get to them would have required quite the trek. After the hike I just took, I said no thanks. I took a little stroll on the beach, wrote in the sand, then bounced.
On the way home I followed a Volvo to pass cars until we got to 92. On the way back, I drove behind a Qvale for a while. Nice car, it is. There actually wasn't too much traffic coming home, only a little bit at the 92/880 interchange, where you come home from Chabot, haha.
Stopped by the auto shop to get an estimate on the bumper. 200 for the bumper, 400 for labor. Uh, can I just buy the bumper and put it on myself, then? Weaksauce.
Magic Johnson and Isiah Thomas played some horse on tv earlier. Unfortunately, those guys can't shoot anymore.

i never told you until it was too late
Like, Whoa x2
Great job, friends. Not only did you guys set a new record for back on Tuesday with 40 uniques, yall came back and beat it by two on Wednesday. Nice! Keep those hits coming! The next goal is 50.
Let's see what's been going on lately. In chem lab I spilled some nitrate on my pants or something. Good thing, too. If it was anything bad I'd have to strip down and get in the safety shower. That and as I walked out of class I ran into the handle that woulda given me a shower. Not so good, haha. I also think I'm smelling ammonia or something, becuase during the lab I tried to waft the thing, but to no avail. So I sniffed it. Bad idea. On the quiz a few days back, the question was name the three subatomic particles. First I put in alpha, beta, and gamma rays, but then I remembered that I was in the stupid class and that we hadn't learned those yet. Then I put proton, neutron, and electron. Yay.
CS lab took too much time. The teacher made some adjustments to the program, and he wanted us to use define statements and declare constants when you didn't really have to. Oh well. Between my labs I stopped by Livermore Target to get some candy for the transfer club booth for club day next week. Hopefully I'll get to eat that candy. After lab Jhermaine, Tom, and I went to Walmart to eat and walk around. There's some pretty good stuff to buy from Walmart, haha. For one thing, their bargain dvds are better than those of Target. Will go back on Sunday to buy some stuff. Haha, forget Target, I say.
Standard tv viewing for Thursdays. Friends, then ER. There was also something on Fox called The Pulse. The little information thing on tvguide.com said there was gonna be a profile of Kristin Holt of American Idol. Uhhh, that a gyp. Her segment lasted a whole 15 seconds? Man, what a way to get viewers (like myself) to watch. Their expose on teen heroin use was pretty good, though.
I forgot to mention that Wednesday at Costco, Jhermaine, Tom, Ben, and I split a pizza and while I was away Jhermaine made up a bogus story that Ben believed. That mofo is so gullible. Things got so funny that Jhermaine started crying. Inquire for details.
I'm such a moron. I was putting on my pj pants and my foot got caught in the hole up front and it tore a nice new hole. Noob.
Año Nuevo later. Yay. If my camera doesn't work, I'll be mighty upset.

Bleh
Thursday sucks. Have to get up with the high schoolers. Sucks bigtime. Got out of chem lab an hour or so ago. Yeah so half the class didn't do the prelab right. Oh well. Basically we had a mix a bunch of stuff together and mae observations. In the end we were given an unknown mix of powders and had to guess two compounds made up the unknown. I think I did alright, but who knows. Who cares.
Yesterday. Watched some tv. Hahaha. Totally forgot about Am. Idol because I was tuned into Dawson's Creek. It's been forever sine I've seen that show, mainly because I wasn't home to see it last semester. I dunno man, I have no idea what that show is about anymore. No idea what the plot line is. But, there are a countable number of episodes left, so I should watch it to the finish, or something. Whoot whoot we had a "drunk" Katie Holmes, and someone knocked over a tv. Sweet.
After DC, flipped on over to the Bachelorette. Well well well, looks like we're down to two morons, err guys now. That little Shamu poem by Ryan was very nice, something equal to my stuff. Russ, on the other hand, I dunno about him. I guess if he really felt that way, then sure go ahead and argue, but if it was just a case of male pms or something, then next time he better just shutup. Oh one more thing, you know how all girls have that girly voice thing going on? What do yall think of Trista's?
Classes were classes. Boring as usual. Calc we had our first homework quiz. I swear, that teacher doesn't know how to teach. I'm sure he's brilliant at the Livermore Lab where he works, but as a teacher he just isn't cutting it. Communication skills aren't necessary in his field, I suppose. I'm sure more than half the class agrees.

where eagles fly, on a mountain high
For some reason I dreamed that I was back in the cvhs gym playing badminton. Not really sure why, but maybe it was cuz I was talking to someone about it the day before. Weird. Anyways. I swear these Tuesday's off are great. It should be a rule to have one day per week off in college. It's like something that everyone should try to get.
Stopped by the library today to drop off some stuff and to clear something. Turns out the lady there knows me by name now, hahaha. Then went to Blockbuster to see if there were any movies to watch, but there were none.
Afternoon was a null.
Tuesday's are great and all, but the nights suck. There is simply too much on tv to watch. There are at least 3 shows at 8:00 PM I want to watch, and I simply can't do it all. Sometimes there might even be competition at the 9:00 slot. That brings me onto me next point. Man. Clark Kent. Always breaking Lana's heart. What a bummer. Major suxors. As for American Idol. Where the heck is Kristen Holt. Weaksauce. Also, where are the Kelly's, Ryan's, and Kristen's of the competition? That, and so far the singing hasn't been too impressive. Lol. Boo.
"All you had to do was ask."
So I've been trying to decide which two posters to get to decorate my walls with. I know one of them for sure is gonna be a Jennifer Garner one, but I'm trying to decide on another one. There's a good reason to get any one of those posters. Kylie Minogue just looks delicious, Natalie Portman is holding a gun, and the quote on the Dawson's poster is a good one (oh and Katie Holmes looks nice, too.) Maybe it will come to me in my sleep.
Speaking of posters, here's one that Jhermaine put together with his cropping skills.
Me: "Stop stealing my fish, I need them as bait."
Kevin: "For bigger fish?"

Ahhh I can't decide which poster to get. I swear everyone I've asked has told me to get a different one for one reason or another. Too bad I just can't get 'em all.

Uh the magazine people just called me and woke me up. They offered to "extend" my subscription for "free." The only thing I'd have to pay is a "processing" fee that was like 4 dollars per week. That's pretty bank for a processing fee. Yeah right, I told them.

under the pale moon, where i see a lot of stars
While driving on the freeway yesterday morning, I tuned around on the radio, and found Howard Stern. I normally don't listen to his show, but turns out Barry Zito was his guest, so I decided to give it a go. Everybody was telling Zito not to do any housework or to do anything else recreational like surfing or playing the guitar cuz it could mess up his pitching career, haha. He also said something very interesting, which will now be moved to the quote box.
Walked into chem class late. Missed the little daily quiz. It was some easy d/mv problem too. Boo. It seems like the only classI relatively don't get sleepy or bored in is bio these days. So far that is my favorite class. CS != fun. Suxors up in there. Transfer club meeting today. Looks like it's going to be fun in there now. Plans for campus visits and rallys and stuff. Calc is still boring. It seems like the teacher up in there is talking to himself or something. He tries to get us to solve the functions/proofs by exclaiming that it's a game. "Suppose one math guy says that this is the limit and another guy challenges him by asking him to prove it." What the heck. Weirdo. I'm sorry to burst a bubble or something, but math is no game. It sucks. Period.
Aww yeah the Warriors won again. Stupid canker sore under my tongue. Can't talk right, and I'm drooling. I also can't eat at the pace I want to. Suck.
[01:12] too late pal

So I was showering and I guess my hair felt kinda nappy or something, so I decided to give it a little conditioning. I turn to the corner where the conditioner is supposed to be, only to find that it's gone. Ahhh! Then I hop outta the shower, linger over to my sink and dig out a new bottle. This one says green tea and shea butter on it. Sassy. No school tomorrow so I think I will air dry.

it turned cold, that's where it ends
I got pretty upset in the morning with those earthquakes. First one was a bit after 8:00 AM. Hello there, 8:00 in the morning? In a normal week I get to sleep in two days. Depriving me of one of those days is not so good. So there were like 14 mini-quakes from then till like noon or something. I only remember feeling like 4 or 5. Funny. You can feel a little jolt for a second before the main one actually comes. Too bad I didn't work today. I coulda fallen on site and not gotten up. Boo.
Oh boy oh boy. Today was a day for sports. First the NHL All Star game. Some guy scored like 5 goals in the game. Impressive. Those pro hockey players didn't start playing defense till halfway through the last period. The game came down to a shootout after overtime. Nice. After hockey came the NFL Pro Bowl. The west got off to a bad start with Garcia throwing 3 interceptions. The east ended up owning the rest of the game.
Did nothing for a few hours. Again they showed Aliens instead of Armageddon, and Star Wars wasn't on, though tvguide.com said it was going to be. I rejoiced at 9:00 PM when Alias came on. Whoot whoot. That's like one of my favorite shows to watch if you didn't already know. I recorded the episode, again for just the contents (hehe), but turns out Ken missed it and has to borrow it. After what seems like forever, Sydney and Michael finally hooked up! Yay.
I was watching The Best Damn Sports Show the other day and they guested Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, and Krista Holt of American Idol. After thinking about it, when they show American Idol on tv, they need to show less of the judges and do more interviews of contestents, which in turn would show more of Kristen. I'm glad to say, the arf is for real there.
I added a new section to the list on the left. Basically it's just to note my 19th birthday, hahaha. I don't really know what else can go there right now.
Read an interesting article in the paper today. It was about women's problems in society (ie appearance, sexuality, and all that jazz). I dunno. I just found it worth ready. Check it out. In a relating article, here's somewhat of a rebuttal from the male perspective.

i can't fake it the way i could before
it's true, i'm stuck on you
Alright I'll make this quick cuz I'm tired. First off, I turned on the tv and started surfing through all the channels, only to notice that every major station was showing the same picture. Immediately I thought to myself "wth happened now." Thoughts and prayers go out to all the friends and families of the astronauts. I remember as a little kid I wanted to be an astranaut and go into outer space. As for the latter, I still do. I remember wanting to go to space camp and all that fun stuff.
Ate some lunch, and didn't really do much. Went to the library to return the movies I borrowed and to borrow some more. After scanning my card, the lady exerts a "we've been waiting for you", lol. Right after that, she asks: "Is Kevin with you?" Double lol. So yeah, I got the movies. Here's a picture of the stack of what was borrowed. I win.
Played some bball at the rec, the first time in a long while. Teams were Tom, Kevin, and Willy against Chester, Gerald, and myself. After dropping the first game, we came back and won the next two. My jumpshot has been coming around the last few times I've played. Good stuff. Cal lost to Arizona today. Good game.
Evening rolled around. Some of us went to Will's house to watch some movies. Turned out both movies I brought. The first movie we saw was Ali G Indahouse. It turned out to be funnier than expected. It's about a white wannabe ganster that becomes a politician to try to help something that's important to him. After a little break to Jack-in-the-Box, we started movie two. Now I've been wanting to see Lost and Delirious for a very long time now, ever since I saw the trailer before a movie like two years ago. The movie was never widely released. This movie follows roomates Paula, Tori, and Mary. Paula and Tori have to struggle through their relationship, as they are lovers. They are discovered and have to deal with problems that arise at their same sex boarding school. All the while Misha has to stay in the middle and try to remain loyal to everyone. Everything leads to a dramatic climax and ending. I especially liked the Shakespearian poetrys of love, challenge, and despair. We chatted for a bit before leaving.
Not scheduled to work later. Yay.
[15:00] calm down targetman
"The Titanic sank days ago."
"The limit has reached infinity."
Yeah that's my calc joke. Dork.

all the castles way up high
Barely showed up to chem class on time yesterday morning. Sat in one of the janky chairs in the back of the room. I thought I read the quiz wrong, mistaking meters for milimeters, since the problem was written express blahblahblah "m in kilometers." Being located in the back of the room, the fact that it was quite early, and the natural given that I am blind, I misinterpreted the "m in" part for mm, haha. Turns out I still put the correct answer because I am a moron. Suck.
Bio lab. Got to look at some more cells under the microscope. But not before taking a quiz on a whole bunch of useless stuff that I bombed. I think I ended up getting 12/20 right or something. Who cares. Quiz me on real biology questions instead. Anyways those cells. First looked at some cat embryos, and we had to find nuclei and ovum. Then we looked at some leaf cells, looking for stomates and all that (plant cell) jazz. I swear theres no desk and aisle space in the lab room. Pretty ghetto. Then again, that's not so bad.
After eating lunch, I basically did nothing for a while. Then I decided to wash my car. So that I did. And help wash my brother's car. Then my mom's. Oh boy. Car washing party! My family went to a friend of a family's house to eat dinner, to celebrate Chinese New Year's I guess. I didn't have too much to drink, just two glasses of wine.
While there, I watched the Lakers beat on the Kings. You Kings fans aren't having any trouble reading that correctly right? The Kings lost. They never led the game besides being up 6-2 in the first quarter. 124-113 was the score. I will say that the only person on the Kings team I like is Stojakovic. That guy's pretty good. Except during game 7 of the conference finals, when the game is on the line. Owned.
