So the last few days I've actually been waking up a little eariler, before 1:30. Why? Because the last three days there have been baseball games that started at 1:05 that I wanted to watch! Yesterday was the Rockies @ Giants, but before that it was the A's @ Giants.

The fourth came and went. Played poker at Greg's house. Some mofos were setting off fireworks down the street or something, and they were so dumb that some car alarms went off.

On Saturday I went to the driving range with my dad and brother. Hit a few short iron shots, and then went to the driver. Hit a few good shots out to the last flag, but more balls ended up faded to the right. No good. =\ I tried Hank's suggestion and took a little more time addressing the ball to think about technique and positioning.

I also saw Garfield. Although it's Garfield, the movie isn't really that good, haha. Even Jennifer Love Hewitt wearing some tight dresses can't save the movie. Odie is pretty cool, though. In a doofus kinda way.

We tried to play poker one night at Gerald's house but ended up not playing because somebody gayed out. You can go figure out who.

Played basketball at the rec. Some hs kids were there so we played some full court. Did alright. Better so in the first game than the second. Probably cuz I'm getting old. Damn kids. Walked by the pool, but there were no lookers. I do hear that the good looking pool attendants are back now. Will have to check that out.

Went to the pool sometime. Swam laps for the French. Save the models!!!

So last week was orientation for San Jose SU. It started at the ridiculous hour of 9:00 AM, but wanted people showing up around 8:30 for breakfast and registering. The free breakfast they gave us consisted of donuts and fruit, with weaksauce coffee. Probably leftover shit from the cafeteria or something. Parking was also not cool, six dollars for a day ticket, slated to rise I believe.

The whole introduction portion of the day was pretty useless. I wanted to fall asleep. Talked about how to sign into the online system and junk like that. Only thing good was a girl that had a great ass. That is all. Afterwards was GE counseling. It was pretty useful. Turns out GE certification means jack shit. That's good. I'm probably going to have to go back for a counseling session to see what areas I haven't covered yet.

Lunch was a two block walk to TK (thanks to Chester for the info). Before that I stopped by the Albertson's next door and got the Pepsi Edge to try it out. Sucks big time. The Coke C2 definitely tastes closer to real Coke than Pepsi Edge does to the real Pepsi. I could just start drinking C2 from now one, but damn, if those carbs/sugar/calories are that important to someone on a diet, then just don't drink soda at all then? Oh the TK was a gyp. They came back with my food three minutes after I ordered it. When I asked for bean sprouts, the dude said it was already in there. They clearly were not. Trying to jack me. Damn fobs.

After lunch was major advising. The most useful part of the day. I applied under a speech-communications major, but it turns out I may want/should be there as a journalist/mass communications major instead. Bwhahaha journalist. Actually, I do know I write well when I want to so, uh, haha for that too. I'll probably be taking classes from both majors until I decide wtf to do. Then I left.

The god damn drive to and from campus averages fifty minutes. GOD DAMNIT!!! Fuck any classes before 9:30 AM fosho.
