Ok maybe more of an addition, but over to the left there is a list of what songs I've most recently listened to. I've always been proud of my range in music that is mostly popular but just eclectic enough to be stay completely out of the mainstream.
looks are deceiving, making me believe it

Walking through downtown yesterday, my encounter with a homeless man digging around a garbage bin:
homeless man: hey, do you have any spare change?
pansy: sorry, i don't have any change
homeless man: sure you don't
[pansy proceeds to walk past homeless man]
homeless man: thanks for looking out!
Sorry dog, I'll try to have some coins on my person next time.
One more week of "instruction" (lecture) left. Hard part for most classes is over. Finished our books that we've been working on all semester for campaigns class last week and got them back from the printer today. They turned out okay, nothing spectacular imo. Doesn't mean there is anything wrong with them, though. Still have to meet with the group at least a couple of times this week to put the presentation together.
Yesterday was also our presentation for our integrated marketing communications class. We were pretty much still working on it up to an hour before it was time to present it. Part of that is probably due to the fact we didn't really start on it until last week (again, had whole semester) and ended up putting in a couple of long days to finish the work. To help us cross the finish line, we consumed a few samples of the product (Smirnoff vodka) we had been working with. Actual presentation turned out okay; not too many mistakes or anything like that. Oh, and Nic and Gabi each wore some pretty bangin' red heels.
Add this to all the long days working on the campaigns book the week before, and it's been a pretty tough couple of weeks. I'm way behind on a lot of TV! I think the only shows I've managed to watch as prescribed have been Grey's and Heroes.
Saturday night some of us wen to Wiz's house and played Halo 3. Didn't get started till a bit past 11 but we got in a good 5ish hours worth of gaming in. Some proud moments included putting the melee beat down on Pro a few times. Sosage did okay but looked kinda rusty. Checked out the demo for the new Scene It? game. During the guess the quote section, all the other foos didn't believe me with the Brokeback Mountain quote. The line came up "I wish I knew ___ __ ____ ___" and I was all "how to quit you, how to quit you!" but noooooooo, don't believe me. Bastards.
I also lost my keys. Looked around but didn't find them. Turns out the couch ate them and I finally found them the next day when I went back to look again. Had to use the spare car key. First time since I started driving eight years ago that I've manually inserted the key into the door to unlock it.
Friday night Gerald, Ray, and I went to downtown SJ and strolled around town a bit. Tried
Smithwick's for the first time. Of this beer, I approve.
I bought some energy drinks today. There was a stand giving out free samples and they told us if we bought one from the bookstore they would give us a free can when we came back outside. So we each ended up buying one, even though the bookstore price is like 50c higher than msrp. Damn, advertising students got sold by a pitch!
25 calories, 7g carbs, less than 5g sugar, and most importantly
no caffeine.
And Lance Armstrong and the cast/crew of 24 drink and endorse it. I'm sold! Oh, and they taste good too!
For the sake of posterity, here's
the list (no not the list from Heroes) of students who registered to be at the graduation ceremony. You will find the pansy man near the bottom, naturally.
