Typing Test
You can check your typing speed in words per minute and your accuracy here. I personally average about 85% accuracy @ 85 WPM. Ugh, it's my fault for not typing "correctly."

Work
Yeah I spent four plus hours at Target again. It didn't even feel like it was that long. I'm trying to rally some guys for some basketball now.

Boy, why am I still awake? Oh yes, I remember now.

Finally
The computer works now. Whoot whoot. Nothing really happened today, except for me putting my computer back together. At night I played some Warcraft Three. Now I'm bootlegging myself Ocean's Eleven. I get to work in the morning, so I'll be sleeping now. Oh yeah, did you all hear about the pledge of allegiance / student drug testing / changes to sat stuff going around lately? Silly if you ask me.

Rehearsals
This morning I went to the mall with Willy and Jhermaine. Didn't but anything, but it was nice to get out. Went to rehearsals later in the afternoon, nice again to get out. Then I drove around Castro Valley for a while, trying to find something. Then I went to Will's house, and we're about to start another movie. I wonder how things are going now.

I Just Can't Get You Out Of My Head
La la la, lala lalala. Oops, silly me. Anyways yesteday. I went to the Columbia pool yesterday with Will and Nick, and there we met Jeff, Hubert, and the Toy sisters. We same there for two hours or so, and it was good fun. When Will and I were going to our cars to leave, both of our attentions had been grabbed. Anyways, last night I went to Will's house, with Rob and Jhermaine over and we watched Slackers. All in all it was pretty much so dumb that it was funny. The whole idea and some nice one liners about the guy falling for a girl and eventually getting together was really nice however. I liked that part. After the movie Will and I played some 1vs1 Warcraft Three, which ended up basically in a draw.

Jenny Lin Rehearsal, LPC Orientation
Today was the first day of rehearsals. It started at four, but I didn't wake up until 3:15 PM or so haha. I ended up leaving my house after 4:00 and I got there a little late. However, as expected nothing was going on so I didn't miss much... well, I did miss out on something, but it wasn't the music =/. We worked on one of the songs, but I had to leave around 5:15 PM or so to go to orientation for college. I went with Jhermaine and there, we worked got a little bit more information, our asessment test results, and got to ask a counselor a few questions. It seems that for my major I need to take one arts & humanities class, one social science (or some junk like that), two english classes, and a butt load of math, science, and major prep (engineering) classes. Booo. Then we left from that boring place. Apparently in our group of 25-30 people, only three people were planning on transferring to a UC school, Jhermaine and I included. Yeah there were a few girls there, but nobody special as .

Collateral Damage
I don't think I've failed to see a modern (and most "old") Arnold Schwarzenegger movie. Thus I didn't miss the opportunity to watch Collateral Damage. As usual, I enjoyed his movie. It's really unfortunate that this movie was released post 9/11, as I'm sure as to that being a reason that critics gave this movie bad reviews. However, Roger Ebert did give this movie a thumbs up (I suppose?).

Boy, I need to get my diploma already. I should really do something productive besides thinking about fuh... (which) fastastic movie to watch next. Someone give me a wake up call at 1:00 PM today please.

Serendipity, Legally Blonde, Kate & Leopold, Minority Report
Ah yes, it's been a while since I blogged. I've seen an abundance of movies these past two days. Let's see I'll start with Thursday. I was awoken around 10:30 AM by the sound of a dropped cell phone call which I later found out came from Athena (thanks!). I got to the.pro's residence where AJ let me in the house after I failed to stash the peanuts in the mailbox. Athena and Flora were already there when I got there. The first movie we watched was Serendipity. As you may or may not already know, serendipity is defined as the faculty of making fortunate discoveries by accident. If you get past all the unlikely chain of events, then the movie is pretty enjoyable. It gets a thumbs up from me. One of the ladies wanted to watch a movie we didn't have, so AJ and I went to Blockbuster to rent it. However since I didn't each lunch, I stopped by Jack In the Box to pick up some food for myself and the two waiting at the.pro's house.hThe next movie we saw was Legally Blonde. With this movie starring Reese Witherspoon, there wasn't a problem watching this movie as well. The last movie of the day we saw was Kate & Leopold. I didn't get to finish this movie, and I'm not sure how much was left before I had to leave (probably not much I'm guessing), but I liked this movie too, haha. Dang, either I just like these types of movies, or somethings wrong with me lol. Oh yeah, Tom and Will did show up drop by sometime during one of the movies haha. Jhermaine, Tom, and I then went to Las Positas to talk to the transfer couneslor. There we learned what classes we had to take, among with some other transfer information.

Today Jhermaine, Will, Tom, Kevin, and I went to watch Minority Report. Great movie. Tom Cruise and Steven Speilberg show why they both own their fields. I liked it a bunch, and I'm sure most people who have seen it will, too. As Will said, go watch it. Oh and no, I'm not homo (that's why it was removed).

Now where have I heard that one before?

Suck
Still no computer, and I think I fried all the available motherboards I have lying around the house. I think I should become a scholar or historian or something where I'd be surrounded by books instead of computers. Boohoo. Anyways last night I went to bed at 4:30 AM or so, but I was still awake lying in my bed for the sunrise. Why you ask? Frankly, I don't know. I suppose it was thinking about certain persons, wait scratch that, thinking about a certain person, among some other things. Maybe it was because of the sun coming out, but many thoughts ran a wild. ( no not dirty either :o ) I did however wake up before 12:00 PM, a real f*cking achievement. Nothing else has really been up lately. There's absolutely jack to do, and I'll just say that the phones have been broken. I tried playing Xbox, but I only got in thirty minutes of Halo before it got boring. I'm about to go for a walk or a drive or something. Sheez. One more thing, another ship has been jumped. Let's just say the young ones are now going to be left behind. Leave them for the others. Oh btw, I've now been reduced to reading a book.

(0) comments

Still
Okay the computer is still out of comission. Weaksauce. I've been reduced to the house and cell phone. After trying again to add into Chabot, some Tom, Jhermaine and I went to Taco Bell for dinner, and we brought the food to Will's house to eat. We then went to Canyon Middle School to hang out a bit with some friends. Eventually the same people from dinner went to Will's house to watch A Beautiful Mind. It was a great movie. I had trouble understanding the movie while it was going, but at the end it all came to me. During the movie Will was putting his computer together, and I must say that that thing is dope off the heezy. Okay that's it for now. Dudes, someone call me at like 1:00 PM or something to go do something. No more of this waking up in the middle of the afternoon garbage. Call me to go do something. Giving my house number is bad, so I'll give you all my cell. The digits are 305-6401 Pathetic, yes I know. Successful? I'll let you know.

BBQ, Computer Issues
Yesterday was our anticapted BBQ. It started out with Nick waking me up at 9:30 AM. Boo. As expected, I didn't get out there until 11:10 AM. We did many things, cook food, sign yearbooks, play basketball, and swimming. Mostly everyone who we invited came by, including Vicky. Okay time to go to Chabot.

I took my computer apart the other day, and I can't put it back together. I haven't been online in two days. This sucks. Will ^2 and Jhermaine couldn't put it back together either.

Recap
It's kinda late so I'll give a quick recap of what I did yesterday. Well, first I woke up (duh?). I then headed over to Chris Wong's house for a brunch. It was nice seeing the senior project. Then I came back to my place and some of the guys and I headed out to Costco among some other places for our bbq supplies. I got home again, and then I realized that I totally forgot about the Key Club car wash in the morning. Doh! I'm so sorry Athena. I'll make it up to you ;-). After going to KFC with my dad to get some dinner, Jhermaine, Will, Tom, Nick, Kevin, and I went to the pool for some swimming which was pretty fun, except a little cold at times. I then came home, showered, then watched Ocean's 11, which I thought was a good movie. Next, of course, was a few games of Warcraft Three. I can't wait to hit up the single player campaigns.

Noob Digital Camera Users Read This
"But here's a first lesson....the shutter button to take the pictures....on almost all digital cameras, PRESS IT HALFWAY, AND HOLD IT THERE FOR A SECOND OR TWO TO LET THE CAMERA AUTOFOCUS BETTER, THEN PUSH IT DOWN THE REST OF THE WAY TO TAKE THE PICTURE. That will result in a crisp and sharp picture unless of course, you move the camera before or after it actually takes the picture."

Compliments of Will. Yes, please learn this skill when taking pictures. Blurry pictures suck.

Finals, CVHS Last Day
Today (well, yesterday) was officially the last day of classes at CVHS :/. My economics final got so bad that I fell asleep during the test and my teacher had to wake me up. Anyways that was that. I then went to MCL, where I fell asleep during the fishbowls. Throughout the day I managed to sign some yearbooks and to take a picture or two. I made a quick trip back to school to turn in some books, and there I discovered that I owed an 8 dollar fine for a "torn cover" on my physics book. LMAO, if you've seen my book, you know that there was way more than 8 dollars in damage. I was expecting to pay at least 30. I heard though that most students in that class were fined those 8 dollars. Bastards, just because the book was new. After school I went home, then took a nap before going to LPC with Jhermaine and AJ to finish up on some assesment tests. As soon as we got back to Castro Valley we went to the high school for the senior sunset. We caught the remainder of the senior video, and headed up to the bleachers in the football field. There we signed more yearbooks and took some more pictures. It was a great time. In the parking lot some fools were doing some crazy antecs with a ghetto rocket, and even though it was stupid as heck, it was funny at the same time. Some fool even rode on top of the car while it was speeding across the parking lot. When that madness ended, some of us eventually went over the Nick's house where we watched Die Hard With A Vengeance. We ended up getting home a bit before 2:00 AM or so. Crazy.

Finals Day Two
Honors Physics test I got dickslapped. It's okay because I fell asleep. Fourth period was a capella. It was ok, nothing really big just turned in music and uniforms and practiced some songs. After class there were awards from that class, with the big winner being Chester with the watermelon and couple award (Gerald also got the couple award), along with Tom and I both winning some other awards. Later on Will, Chester, and I went to Fremont Comp Usa to get some hard drives. They rang up 59 dollars but because I'm so damn looking I got them for 29. Nah just kidding, I told her I saw a receipt that said 29 dollars. I then came home to sit around for a while. Tom, Jhermaine, and I then went out to LPC out in Livermore to take some assesment tests. Tom and I both took the math 4 one while Jhermaine took English. We all pretty much said the tests weren't too difficult. Hopefully our scores agree with our assesment of the assesments (joke?). Then we ate a whole pizza at Costco. Now I need to shower and put together my stupid economics binder, though I haven't kept a binder all year. It's pretty funny, I don't have a binder until the last day of school!

Final Day One
Today I had APES and Statistics. Apes we chilled all peroid and ate food. I took mad pics, and signed some more yearbooks. In stat, we took our "final" test, which I ended up getting an A on (first A since first quarter probably). Then we chilled around and I took more mad pics and signed some more yearbook. Tomorrow hopefully I'll do the same. Sign yearbooks and take made pics. Screw the physics final, I'm not arrogant enough to study and work for it when it does absolutely nothing for me. Anyways those pictures I took from the last two days from school can be found here.

Work, Then Broom
First off, at Target, a Chinaman comes in and lines his cart up right next to the counter like he's supposed to. I say hello to him, and he does the same, and that's it. He looks at me with a blank look on his face implying he wants me to unload the 9 boxes of tissues on sale onto the counter. As Jhermaine would say, screw that. I just take one box out and give it a quantity of 9 and scan it once. Damn mo, it aint my job to empty your stupid shopping cart. It's bad enough that you come in the express lane ( < 6 items) with a dozen items, and you want me to unload the basket? Give me a break. Then Kevin came by and bought an Xbox, which forced me to buy a controller along with getting a Target Visa card. Damn rich mofo.

The Nets came very close today. Nice attempt. Jason Kidd had another great game, and Keith Van Horn hit a few clutch shots. Too bad Kenyon Martin played thinking he was Shaq down low. He ran over a Laker twice with no offensive foul. Lucious Harris finally came out of the... mask. Though Devean George can't normally shoot, he's great on boards and putbacks. It was actually a game today. However the Nets aren't going to get any closer. This series is over. Bust out the brooms and sweep this mess out of here.

More Work
Worked at Target. Those bastards. Anyways I came home and watched the Belmont horse race. Very dissapointing. With that stupid horse tripping over himself out of the gate. What a mo. We then moved the big screen tv that was upstairs downstairs into the family room. Don't ask me how we did it, but we did. Now watching those things called dvd's should be more comfortable. Kevin and I then went to the courts to play some basketball for a while. We played some ball, and then some of us went into the spa to relax a bit. There a few juniors or something eventually crashed the place. They weren't good for much except to look at or something (and not even all of them at that). Then we bounced. That night I watched the Final Fantasy movie. It's alright... too bad that Aki character isn't real :\. Oh yeah, sometime during the afternoon Chris Wong came over and somehow got me to walk out of my house. Then Gareth and EZ (Eric Zamora for those that don't know) gave me a few good water balloons lol.

Last "Normal" School Day
Ah man the time is flying by. Nothing much except sign some yearbooks and take some pics. Next week I have to sign a fewmores people's yearbooks and take a few more pictures with some more people before it's all over. Anyways, not much happened today. After school I lounged around until the basketball game. Yes, as expected, the Lakers tore up the weaker Nets. Two more games and it's vacation time for them. A very happy birthday to Akemi, who we suprised earlier with a "surprise" get together haha. We all popped into Jessica's house (where Akemi was). I had to bounce, but the other's eventually went to TapX. That's about it, except that I'm still jumping ship like a mofo. Laters.

we belong together
and you know that i'm right

Spanked
The title refers to how we did with the apes presentation. I think for the most part we nailed it. That's right, get off deez nut lol. Next period we presented our stat video. It was great in the beginning and funny in the end, but it generally sucked compared to our last one haha. I can't really say anything since I didn't do much in this one, but I'm sure it turned out like this only because of where we are in the school year and the fact that we didn't have much time to work on it. The rest of the day we didn't do much in classes. I fell asleep in econ again, but that's normal. Any free time that I had today was probably spent signing yearbooks. There's one more normal day of classes (actually not normal because classes are short), so make it count.

Toasty Day
Boy was it a very warm today today. Right now it's still pretty darn hot. Anyhow because I slept at 3:00 AM to finish up some fishbowling questions. I slept right through first period and tutorial. Fourth period we worked on the Star Spangled Banner and the Alma Mater, both of which I think I've pretty much got down. In sixth period mcl I had my fishbowl, which was also my final for that class. I pulled at least a B on it. I went home, lagged around, then went out to work on the presentation aspect of my apes project that I've been working on. Then I went to the basketball courts to shoot around for a few minutes. I then put in the piaa side marker bulbs that arrived yesterday. Tomorrow is going to be hot again, dress appropriately.

and every minute of every single day
i'm dreaming of how it could be

Badminton Banquet
It was great family fun. The whole night was filled with nice memorable moments. Paul did announce his stepping down from the head coach position, so no the team is going to be looking for someone to fill the hole. After the official events were over, Gerald and I had some fun with a baloon and a tank of helium. Damn, I had a headache after that though. Oh, and my piaa lights finally came today. Cool. Now I have to work on my fishbowl for tomorrow, since my final day is tomorrow in that class. Not cool. Estimated time to sleep: 1:00 AM. Crap crap.

Senior Cut, Err, Picnic
Yeah today was the school's attempt to deter from a senior cut day. Instead of letting the students traditionally taking their next school day after prom off, our school decides to hold our picnic at a water park. The water park was out in the middle of baron land, otherwise known as Manteca. The drive took about an hour long getting there, but everyone was pumped so it was all good. The park itself was mediocre at best, with one great attraction. There was one slide that was 80 feet high which was a blast. I ended up going the farthest down the ramp until Megan came down and beat everyone. Anyhow we spent the time going across all the attractions, eating food, and doing a lot of walking. The best thing of course is hanging out with others and enjoying each other's company. Also I played a couple of minutes of volleyball, which I haven't played probably since PE class as an underclassmen. By the time 3:00 PM rolled around, it was time to leave for home. The bus ride on the way home went by really quick for me, because I ended up falling asleep lol. Since arriving home I haven't done much of anything except play a game of Warcraft Three. Oh and I just heard a bit of news from one of the guys. It was pretty damn unfortunate but I suppose it was funny. Better to take things humorously then seriously sometimes. Nevertheless it was funny. There are those things in life that are just better. I fortunately did have it better for a while.

Senior Ball 2002
Some of the following might be the same as what Will wrote, but hopefully some opinions are dissenting or something.

June 1st, 2002: I started out late. Things were slated to start at 3:00 PM 6 houses down at Carol's house, but I found myself getting in the shower at 2:45. I didn't leave the house until 3:40 or so. I went to pick up the corsage, and there I asked for another white rose. They made and gave it to me, and the lady ended up giving it to me for free. Gg. She told me it was because she wanted me to come back to them another time, but I think it must have been of my good looks. Then on the walk out the girls at Blenzers hollared at me. I was running late so I didn't get a chance to do anything except for a quick hollar back, youngn's. After picking Lynn up, I eventually got to Carol's house where we took a few pictures before leaving for the high school. There we took some pictures, before our party bus came and picked us up. That bus is the shizzo. We packed all 26 people in, and started rolling along. We hit up the bay bridge, then went through the city on the Embarcadero, then up the Golden Gate bridge to Sausalito.

We arrived at our restaurant, called The Spinnaker. The place looked very nice, right along the waterline. Views were very nice, and we even got a look at a nice sea otter popping up to get some air. However, the service and food there was nothing special. Our portion of the large group was seated last, and received slower service than the others. They took years taking our orders, and we basically had to ask them for our free bread. The (virgin =/) pina colada and clam chowder weren't thick enough, the fried calamari not evenly fried, and the pasta that overall sucked. Actually before that, they ran out of what I wanted to order, so they made me order something else. I ordered a Penne Rustica. It came way late, and I'll digress on that a bit more later. Anyways it came, and the pasta was still watered down from being cooked. As Will said, the scallops were overcooked and lost their flavor, the prawns were dry, and swordfish wasn't anything great. Also I heard from Will and Gerald that my plate was missing some chives and a lemon. The waiter then came back and told me that because the plate was so late in getting to me, it would be covered by the house, so that was good at least. Later on the bus I had a stomach ache from the food I just ate.

Due to the retarded restaurant, we arrived at the dance around 11:00 PM. There we simply danced the shortened night away. The room was bigger than the junior prom place, but in my opinion was still too small to hold everyone there. The dance floor was a little too small and the atmosphere was a little too warm (temperature wise). Before we knew it, senior ball was over with the last dance. Btw I don not understand how a song like that was chosen. It's basically a slow rock song, but it wasn't really slow enough to be considered a slow song. =/. We were quickly bounced out of the building by the low-class bouncers. We got back to the CVHS parking lot around 2:30 AM or so.

We then went to Jenny's house up in Colombia. There was a great arrangement of food and snacks. People (including me) then changed out of the formal wear and lounged around. Most people either watched movies, played foosball, or ping-pong. I don't think I took much part in those though =). I then spent a good amount of time on the floor falling in and out of consciousness. I think I left around 6:45 AM, and got home around 7:00 AM, where I promptly hit the sack, but didn't fall asleep in a quickly fashion. I woke up around 1:00 PM to a phone call reminding me that I had to work on a project. I showed up two hours late, but I think we basically got the stuff done. I then came home and watched the Lakers beat the Kings. What a great game. Did you all see Divac cry when he fouled out? Or howabout Stojakovic, Christie, and Webber throwing up bricks when their team needed a trey? Christie's shot missed rim, Webber missed it off the bank (indicating he choked on release), and Stojakovic missed completely and drew air. Howabout the Kings shooting Shaq regular season percentages from the charity strip while the Lakers (Shaq, Bryant, Fisher) went 8/8 from the stripe in the clutch? Ouch... what a great game though. Time to look forward to NBA playoffs 2003. That's three in a row.

Tomorrow's the senior picnic. For all those going, report to the half circle at 8:45 AM.

TGIF (Well, Less Today)
My day started out pretty crappy. In the morning going to school, someone backs into my door. What a fatty dent it left. Ouch. School was pretty much the same. After school I went to get an estimate done on my car, and that came up to about $2500. Ouchies for the other guy. I also went to Gingiss to pick up my tuxedo, which is now sitting flat on my floor. Then I turned on the television and planted my ass to channel three. As I've said, game seven will now be played at 4:30 PM on Sunday @ Arco Arena. Write that down. It should prove to be a great game, much like yesterdays. What a great game. Shaq totally dominated. See what happens with the officials swallow the whistles and actually let the people play? Great things. Lol with both Pollard Divac fouling out trying to guard Shaq. Oh that was a great game. Anyone else see Kobe perfect from the charity stripe? Howabout Shaq making the first 10 of his attempts? Wowzers.

In less than 12 hours I'll be getting ready for senior ball! Whoot! Everyone's going to have a great time and things are going to be great!
