Another nice day out. It isn't scorching as the last two days were. Too bad the good dayness is killed by the fact that I'm in classes. I need a tree. These trees here are weaksauce.

fly like an angel heaven sent to me

Well well well. It was Sunday, and as you know, I don't do squat on Sunday's anymore. I wanted to go to the mall to return some shoes, but the laziness took over. The day was spent watching some NCAA basketball over lunch, followed by a period of pretty much nothing. Some sort of movie was on, but I forgot which. Played a few W3 games with Mac, I think. The day was again lovely; you were again lucky if you were out in a public place.

Cars came by my house every five minutes or something during the afternoon to check the open house next door. Apparently the sale was pending, but the "buyer" couldn't afford a down payment, haha. What a moron. The asking price has now been lowered from ~$699K to ~$679K. Good thing those people didn't buy the house. Now I can go back to hoping for a hot neighbor my age. Haha, the home seekers I didn't like had to deal with me turning up the music loud in hopes of persuading them not to buy the house. Worked on my MGS:2-S game. No idea what the story is after the tanker mission. The plot, characters, direction the game's going is confusing to me right now.

What I did the rest of the day, I do not know. Which means it wasn't anything important. Then again, when was the last time I did something important? Probably not in a long time. Played some more W3 games. Lost my ladder match against Udog. Right after the match Nick tried to capitalize during my weeping stage, and challenged me. Musta been trying to move in when I was vulnerable or something. I valiantly defeated him. If you know my W3 gaming at all, you know that my 1vs1 wins are few and far between. My record now stands at 3-9 or something, haha. Hmm, I need to get 3 more wins to get my record to, bleh, you know, haha. Oh.

In Alias Miss Garner slapped on a blonde wig. For a few minutes here and there I switched over to the new WB show Black Sash to catch the hot g... girls.

Something everyone should be able to recognize is when it's time to give up, and actually giving up when that realization is made. I only say this because I lack this ability.

I swear there's a new car parked in front of my house every five minutes. My guess is everyone's checking out the open house next door. Unfortunately, I've yet to see a 17-21 year old young woman with any of the families. Boo.

no me ames porque pienses que parezco diferente

Straight out from notepad. Yes yes, here's me after missing a day. I've been pretty lazy lately; now that I think about it, I always am I guess. Friday class I missed, but I put the homework and junk under the door so that should be all good. As for the bio lab, beforehand it sounded really bad, teacher telling us to preread it or else, people from the previous class saying it sucked so bad; stuff like that. Turns out it was nothing more than adding a buffered starch solution into some iodine, haha. Not really difficult, but pretty long and tedious work. I prefer that kind of work though. The mindless kind. The less I have to think, the better. Cuz you know, when I think, I make things harder than they're supposed to be, remember?

After lab I went to some workshop on graphing. I was supposed to help all of us graph the data on the lab that we all just did. I thought it was pretty bad that every other group had differing data, but I looked over at the other classes results and they had some whack data too, haha. I tell you that session was a waste of time. The person gave a powerpoint on all the different types of graphs and when it's the best time to use each of them. Obviously I was not awake for the fourty five minute lecture. At the end of it all, all we had to do was plot our data onto three different line graphs. Each graph had 3-5 points and took less than five minutes each to construct. SO basically after making the graphs and showing them to the teacher person, I bounced.

I'm pretty sure I did something that afternoon but I forgot now. That night a whole gang of us went over to Wendy's house to hang out for a while. We chilled there for about an hour or so, chattin' it up and getting treated to some "magic" card tricks. Someone then decided to play capture the flag at the park, which we did for a while. Then the po-po came, and told us to go home, haha. We all pretty much went home.

Now this morning at 9:30 or so I woke up (yes kinda early) to get ready for some badminton open gym. I finally left the house around 10:10 or so, lol. First picked up Alex, then Will before getting to the high school lot. Gerald was waiting for us, and Charles had just showed up, so we walked in together. Gerald scored us some free entry, yessss. Will and I pretty much got owned in our first match. However, later on after everyone had got in a few maches, things started changing. The skills were coming back. Gerald and I got together, and started to basically run people over. On a side note, it's no wonder why the team doesn't improve. There aren't many girls who show to help motivate. Oh. I stopped by the library to pick up some more movies.

I went home to catch a bite to eat. The rest of us went to the rec to meet up with Chester and his family who were playing ball. I swear that whole extended family are Kings fans. Bah. After everybody finally showed up, we started playing. Just like badminton, I didn't do too well in the beginning, but as time went on things got better. I think from all the games I've ran lately, I've gotten to the point where I can just keep on playing without getting tired. No more huffin' and puffin'. I think it's now how hard I want to play and if my body can just physically keep performing. But you know, when you get to that point, it's either sit or strong will the rest of it. Play through the pain and not complain, like all athletes should. Sweetness, I should be so motivated and hard trying in things besides sports, like school or love. Ay Dios mios. I can already tell you what body parts are sore at the moment: thighs, shoulders, wrist (big time suckage), and groin (yes, I think I pulled it again). Who knows what I'll feel tomorrow.

After all our real games we sat around for a bit and shot the bull for a while. Again we played our renamed version of horse. Nick, Gerald, Chester, and I shot two games under the name we always play for, one name we usually don't play for, and a pair of objects that Nick couldn't get enough of. And yes son, you are making that trip down to Santa Clara one of these days.

I swear today was the hottest day, year to date. If you were out in any public place during the day then you were lucky. Dude, nobody told me Romeo and Juliet was being performed at UCB (boo). Ahhhhhhh.

A very happy birthday goes out to Doug (aka Udog) who turns 25, and Flora (aka _____) who like all women, are timeless. Go Bruins.

"i hope that in your life you experience love as innocent and pure as that and never experience the pain and confusion from the breakup"
Aw, thanks man. Me too.

[21:25]sos: my girlfriend made me some fish and chips...tossed a fried barb of fish bones into my mouth...I dont think I want home made fish and chips anymore

wizll 02 (12:36:16 AM): so how are you playing tomorrow
StrikeoutK (12:36:25 AM): slick(ly)?

ShrimpSiumai (11:56:59 PM): and i'm like sweating like a dog

"Go for it man, you got this."
-"I don't got jack."

"My recon sucks."

(10 minutes of clarification after)
"My recon's good."

"The only bad thing about other people doing your recon is that I gotta put up with everyone's crap. Take Willy for an example. He'll get me info but I gotta deal with his ridicule and risk being slapped in the back of the head."

-obviously me

some badminton player: have you been feeling stressed lately?
me: actually yes i have, how come?
some badminton player: cuz you have some white hair

What the heck? Noo.

i'm jealous of the sun that warms you

Lab turned into lecture. Pretty boring stuff. CS lab was pretty hard; didn't finish the program. Went to Costco for a pretzel and soda. Made my way out to CVHS to watch the match. I saw some people I haven't seen in a long while, and got to catch the games I was interested in. Before leaving I got beat down by a stick.

So Charles and I almost died. Twice. While backing out of the school lot, Charles yells out to stop and out of no where some cars driving up the aisle in the wrong direction. With a bigger car parked next to me, I obviously did not see it. Then while driving through those boony hills where he lives, some blue Celica (those Celicas) suddenly busts a left turn onto his driveway when we're like literally a few feet away coming towards him. The sun wasn't even in the mofo's eyes. Luckily I wasn't daydreaming at that particular moment so I was able to apply the brakes.

All of tv was a rerun tonight. Played a few games of W3.

"I was pimp of the year before the car accident."

Bah. Everytime I shower my mind starts drifting off to no where and I start thinking about stuff. Consequently I don't feel so well and my head starts to hurt. Maybe I shouldn't shower so often.

"Given x amount of moles in a given substance, find how many moles of an element/compound in that substance." That is the stuff we're doing in chem right now. Doing stuff like moles * (3/2) right now. What garbage. I learned this stuff my third week in high school. After our calc quiz, Jhermaine and I left.

A whole lot of us went over to Mare's house for some hot pot. We all got up onto two tables and shared all the food that was provided. I guess someone (G) tried to cook some noodle, and ended up burning it or something, haha. Every once in a while I'd go check the Lakers/Rockets game. As expected, the Lakers won. Good win because I like the Lakers, and the winning Warriors pick up one game in the playoff race. Anways, Coco (one of Marian's dogs) kept running around under the table, and he was sitting right near me staring at me, so I snuck him some food when no one was looking, haha. I think me and him are pretty cool. He let me put my feet up on his back when I was watching tv, lol. We sat around and talked a bit and whatnot, and caught American Idol. Eventually some of them came back from Blockbuster, and we watched Jackass, haha. I had already seen it, but that was on a computer monitor so it wasn't as exciting. I think I'm the only one that didn't turn away from anything. After all, shoot, it's just stupid people doing stupid things. Nothing to be freaked out about there. I left around midnight.

i'd take advantage but i can't see through this charade

The phone rang a bit after 11:00 AM, disturbing my very happy dreaming that I had going on. There should be a way to save dreams into mpg format or something. The phone call was none other than Nick waking me up to head out to lunch. I was supposed to be at his house at noon but I really didn't get out of bed until 11:40 or so. Naturally I was running late. I got Rob, then Nick and Will. We stopped by Loretta's house to pick her up.

Jhermaine met us at Macaroni Grill and we all sat down to eat lunch. The bread there is crazy good; we went through about four chunks of it. Everybody seemed to enjoy their food, and drawing on the paper covered tables. I myself was busying myself with my green field in the countryside. Afterwards we went to Best Buy for a bit. Loretta, Nick, and I then went to Loretta's place while the rest of the guys went over to Willy's, I think. At Loretta's place I wanted to take a nap, but that didn't happen. Nick and I were kinda debating at one point, and then he suddenly busted out my real life example. I gave up and conceited defeat.

All of us went out to Arroyo to watch the badminton match there. They ended up losing, but hey what else is new. Willy started talking a lot of smack (as usual), including some garbage how I make a bad partner and stuff because I swear at them and yell at them and all that non sense and that I have no sportsmanship. Of course I countered and all, and noted that while I'm not someone whose going to put a smile on your face when you play with me, I will bring out the competative spirit and the drive to win in whoever I play with. Whatever, it's Willy. Ever since that day we went tux renting for 6102 (where he jacked the tux style I wanted), when he chased me up and down the street and wanted to beat me down, I basically let him say whatever he wants.

Came home, lounged around, watched American Idol and caught a rerun of Smallville. Haha, I totally forgot today's had that hot Native American character chick in it.

"i dont know what type of sexual position shes in, but its weird"
*shrug*

ShrimpSiumai (12:42:09 AM): BETTER WORK

Okay foolios. I'm seriously behind now. I have no idea how this happened. What in the heck. Well, yes I know exactly how this happened. A few mishaps here, a couple of bad assumptions there, ambiguity on my part, and general messing-things-up. That's what happened. Freaking #$%ASLDFSAD:RKJ@$A%T# ^$W#RS. Jeez. Promises were made and sworn upon, and half of it so far is kept/fulfilled. But no... not my share. Boo. This can potentially suck big time. There has to be an easier way. Simple and direct, with no ambiguity. Weaksauce this is. Weaksauce. Time to get with the times here. Now I'm ranting on and on with this ramble of mine. Hey, what did complaining ever achieve? Nothing. Time to tar up the bat and step on deck.; it's showtime and pretty soon an audience will be watching.

In other news, I have a feeling something is to somehow influence my next few months.

they say hanging on will justify the wait

Hahahaa again I showed up to my classes late, so again I said screw chem. Whatever. Got owned on last week's bio test. Whatever. CS was cs, and was whack with all these conversions between number bases. In the transfer club meeting, I finally had something to report. Now I have to do some more work, like go to businesses and stuff and ask for donations, haha. I'm also wondering how much I really want to go on that Davis trip now. I dunno, I haven't been in the mood for much excitement lately.

So I didn't go to calc class either, and played some basketball instead. I got pretty pissed cuz we dropped two games to the same team. Moments of my past came up again, and I knocked over a trash can and abused a water bottle. I took some really bad shots so I was pretty much ticked off at myself. Moments after the game Ken calls me and tells me to pick him up from practice instead of asking his brother. As you know I was pissed already, so he just threw me overboard. I started swearing at him and said how stupid he was. I still think he is in this case, but I guess I coulda expressed it better. Now some girl that was there who doesn't even know me thinks sucky of me. Boo. Always seems to be the case. On a side note, I'm sorry if I play my sports with more drive and passion than the rest of you.

Willy's shoulder came out of his socket again. We had to help him put it back. While pulling on his arm we asked him if it was in yet. "Halfway there" he replied. After we managed to put it back into place, he was ready to ball again. By this point everyone's laughing like mofos and I'm on my back trying to breath. We didn't let him play anymore ball. I had a pretty good day today. Not as good as someone else, though.

"Just call me dailo."

So this is what it's like to have a normal college schedule.

(0) comments

I'd like to just remind all of you how much I hate community college. I need to be at a place where different expectations and lower standards are applied to achieving the same weak grades.

now i don't claim to be an 'a' student, but i'm trying to be.
for maybe by being an 'a' student baby, i can win your love for me.

So I lied about blogging yesterday morning. It's like two mornings after now, haha. Let me think now. Okay I got it. Saturday afternoon I watched Abandon, with Katie Holmes. Now I didn't follow the story too well, but I think basically it follows a college senior (Holmes), whose having troubles in her head or something. She doesn't know what she's gonna do and stresses about a thesis deadline and getting a job. Nonetheless, Katie Holmes is in the movie. Whoot. Actually if I paid my whole attention to the movie, it'd be pretty good I think.

After Will ^2 both got back to CV, I met them at Will's house to go to Trish's bday get together at her house. Pretty good times seeing a lot of people and all. The food was good, and we even managed to watch a few college tourney games before getting caught, haha. Anyways, most things are well, except I did notice a few things here and there. And there was some month old news that I just heard. Cool.

Afterwards Will, Gerald, and Rob came over. We watched the 8 Mile dvd and Gerald brought over some Coke and Seven-Up, whoot. I did not feel so well after the fifth drink. Oh well, Will was worst off with less sodas. The movie was over a bit after 2:30, but he didn't leave for almost another hour.

Now onto yesterday. Most of us guys went over to Will's house in the afternoon. After eating a quick lunch there, we went to Target then the mall. I wanted to buy a white dress shirt, but I remembered that I didn't have a job to back up my purchase. Boo. Cuz you know, you never know when you'll need two hundred dollars or so. Chester, Gerald and I went to the rec afterwards to shoot some hoops. I guess everybody else had better things to do. Chester and I played horse, but we didn't shoot for "horse." We shot for the same six lettered name we always shoot for. After splitting two games, we shot for the shortened version of the same name and split another pair of games. Instead of finishing the series off with a game five, we decided to call it a day. That, and the net was starting to tear from all the rips we had.

It's nice having all the guys back in town, and all the def jam comedy and jokes that come with all of them. Things almost seeem normal again. All the comments and clowning almost results in a sense of stability, haha.

From Marc's profile:
"when people ask me what i think about all day, i say...the limit of (1+x)^1/x as x approaches infnity equals e"

"Did you talk to her?"
-"No."
"I see they haven't grown yet."

me: those are some short shorts there.

As I was showering, a sudden dire revelation came over me. I realized more than ever, I've fallen behind. At first, I laughed like a mofo. Then I stopped and remembered that it's not so funny. There are 1.5 new people (perhaps +1 more soon) I have to add to the "listen to and at least consider advice by default" list. Just not that long ago I was in the middle of things. Not too bad, but not all well. Now, I lag near the bottom. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Just please give me a sign; something to work with.

Remember Jer, no pressure here. Listen the wise (I hope) words of Garrett, and just don't try.

I just played probably my best W3 challenge match to date. Too bad I lost. I should always play my matches when my mind isn't concentrating on the issue at hand.

you showed me the world when i was all locked up inside

I forgot to mention yesterday that two of my teachers told me my writing sucks. My chem teacher yesterday in lab told me I should take neater notes in my lab notebook. She even said "though you're taking notes and observations, you're trying to communicate the data." Uh, hi there. It's my freaking notebook. If I can read my own writing, that's good enough. Then in calc Wednesday, on my quiz my teacher noted "sloppy, but incorrect." What the heck. His writing is crap and he has the audacity to tell me my writing sucks? Get out.

Chem lecture was boring as usual. Bio lab. I tell you, those labs are yay/boo at the same time. While it's a good thing that there's no actual prelab work to be done, except to "read" the lab, the "prelab" that we do do consists of boring lecture for an hour and a half before we get to do anything lab like. Bah.

Afterwords I stopped by Circuit City to pick up Shenmue II and Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, twenty dollars each. I look forward to playing and beating MGS2:S.

Played some bball today. Ran two full court games with some mixed teams. First game Nick and I basically walked, as we didn't need to do any work. Then game two I asked to switch to the other team. Knowing full well I'd have to take over the offensive load, I went straight to the basket, hitting the first 3 of 4 shots. For a while there, I felt like Kobe. Chester eventually showed up, and we got our team +1 to play a more real full court game. Except that our +1 guy was weaksauce. Not only would he shoot the ball everytime we passed it to him, he'd miss. After the game we figured out why no one was guarding him. It was like playing shorthanded on offense, giving the other team an extra man to double team. Then in the latter stages of the game the +1 guy ran out of gas and stopped playing d. What the heck btw. These are high school kids here. They're supposed to be in the best shape of their lives; we old mofos are running up and down the court harder and faster than these kids. Jeez. Justin came by a little bit later, and we finally had our fifth man. We got back into another game, and went up like 10-7 before some physical conflict and near confrontation resulted in everybody just not playing anymore, haha. We always get in those little skirmishes with various groups of people, but fortunately nothing happened.

Wonder what's gonna happen tomorrow.

[00:59] it's ok, we go to the rec at night watch aerobics class

"Were you planning on being a doctor or pharmacist, because you write just like one."
-lab partner

me: "Girlfriend treatin' you well?"
justin : "I don't have a girlfriend."
me: "Oh, it's okay, me either."

Hah.

"They have potential."
-"Yeah, look whose coaching them."
"No, not that kind of potential."
-"Ohhhhh."

Bwawhaha with the ahdude impression.

soaring, tumbling, free wheeling through an endless diamond sky

Chem lab was pretty interesting. We mixed a bunch of metals with a bunch of liquids, and reactions occured. My part of the lab was to put a zinc strip into some sort of solution. After an hour I had iron on my zinc strip. We then had to dip the strip into some water, and add some acetone into the water so the metal would dry faster, because acetone evaporates faster than water or something. Anyways, I forget to add acetone to the water, so my stick takes years to dry. I was getting pretty impatient, so I just weighed the wet filter paper and iron, and magically "subtracted" some weight to get an answer that looks right. Hehe, oops. During my break I finally did some work as a club officer. I called the bowling alley, and was able to reach an agreement for a fundraising proposition. Yes, I'm good. No, not deity-like yet, unfortunately. I'll be putting in a plug for the event as information becomes available. Don't worry, I'll get all of my readers (you) in for cheap. Give me some sugah and I'll let you in for free. Unless your name is Ken, then I'll charge you double. The CS lab was freaking hard as a mofo. I had no idea how to do it, so I kinda gave up and just left. I went to cvhs to watch some good ol' badminton, kinda. Turns out they lost 7-8. No clutch, I guess. In related news, I watched Ken and Charles owned up on Tom and Gerald. But hey, not like I knew they were going to play before I got there, right? Oops, I did it again.

It's amazing how much effort I'll put forth into memorizing lyrics to an old song and how unmotivated I am to study my conversion factors, cell parts, chain rules, and implicit differentiationing. Bah.

tell me princess, now when did you last let your heart decide?

Yes, I was late to chem. Bio test wasn't too too bad. I still didn't get an ace it though. Better than a fail, I suppose. I swear, that precalc guy. First half of class, I was awake, after the quiz, no way. Fell asleep. While I was getting calc help in the library, a hot girl sat in front of me. Needless to say, I wasn't concetrating on the calc. TV today consisted of the first DC episode, Warriors basketball, American Idol, and that Bachelor thing. Fooking bah. Not much else to report.

Coming home from class last night, the radio started broadcasting President Bush's speach, saying that the attacks against Iraq have started. I immediately tuned into some AM news stations until I got home. The war has started. Regardless of which God you believe in, let's all pray for the safety and well-being of our armed forces.

[21:53] there's only one solution

Okay I just pretty much got owned.

Well, I'm late to class, so I decided to just not go. I did, however, slide my homework (due today) and lab (due Monday) under her office door. If she asks why I've missed two days in a row, the first is obvious, while the second I'll say I was studying for my bio test, which, after this post, I will be. Hopefully, she won't be a poopie about this.

So I had my eyes open for a while, laying in bed with nothing to do. I turn on over to check the clock... turns out it was only 7:00 AM. Whoot whoot. Then I slept for another 1.5 hours. But alas, all good things come to an end. I had to really get up then.

i'm that voice you're hearing in the hall

I wanted to wake up a bit early to listen to Howard Stern to see what if anything he said about our president's speech the night before. My alarm was set for like 10:00, but I guess I didn't turn the stupid thing on. So, without an alarm, I slept for like ten hours. Whoo.

Didn't do much for the early half of my afternoon. Around 3:45 or so I left to go to the library to drop some stuff off and check new stuff out, too. The freaking parking lot was full! I couldn't do anything but to take a lap and leave. I drive on over to the high school to watch their match. The first thing I notice when I walk in was the water cooler filled up with Gatorade (okay so it really wasn't the first thing I noticed). That so far is the best thing their coaches this year have been good for. Btw, I ended having some, and all the ice melted so it tasted not so good. The team finally got their first win... over non other than Hayward. Hahaha. No doubt because I was in attendance.

I guess I still owed Ken and Charles for helping me out a while back ago, so I took them out for some food. First I stopped by the library again, but it was still rather full, so I just made Ken get out of the car and use the slot thing. We went to Jack in the Box, and we spent some time there basically just shooting the bull. College, proms, the haps, people. Those two put together are pretty funny. They're also punks at times. =\

American Idol was good, especially with the soundtrack/movie song theme. Weaksauce Smallville was another rerun. Boo.

Chanman007 (2:46:57 PM): you get that big of a work out from going?

StrikeoutK (2:51:39 PM): so what's your sister playing ass now

What the heck?! Jeez I didn't even know I typed that, haha.

Chanman007 (7:50:06 PM): i'm not talking to you anymore

"Ken reach down into my pants."

"Please never mention that name in my presence again."

stronger than yesterday

Like, I so couldn't sleep last night. I got into bed around 1:30 AM, and I remember seeing the clock go deeper and deeper into the night. 2:00, 2:30... pretty soon 3:00. I'm not exactly sure what time I fell asleep, but I'm pretty sure I got less than four hours of sleep that night. However, four hours is better than two hours, which is what some unfortunate kid sometimes has to settle for.

The bus for Sacramento was planned to leave at 8:30, so I showed up on time for once! We load the buses, and start our ride there. Our bus driver must have been driving pretty fast because we got there in an hour and a half. Of course I didn't notice because I was knocked out in my seat, haha. As soon as we pull into the lot I notice a whole gang of people carrying picket signs and banners that proudly proclaim where they are from. Pretty soon we're marching toward the capitol. One direction of traffic is rerouted, and people in the buildings along the road are staring out their windows. A few news helicopters are even in the air. We make our way to the steps of the capitol, only to see the backs of people's heads, lol. The whole event didn't seem organized enough for my taste. After a few cheers and repeated lines, we get a bit tired and decide to just bounce. We walk around Old Sacramento, and eventually make our way into some mall type of structure. The food court is found, and we eat there. After killing some x amount of time, we walk back and join the people we came with. There's mostly groups of people standing outside by now. We walk back to our buses, and begin our ride home. Again our bus driver was driving pretty fast. That, or I just drive slow or something. If you didn't already know, I was protesting the unfair budget cuts towards California's community colleges.

It's about 4:30 when we return, and Jhermaine and I decided to not go to calc class. I myself was tired from the days events, but I really just wanted to get back to catch our president's address on tv, haha. I don't know about all of my readers and where you stand, but our commander-in-chief has made up his mind. Do your part, carry the banner, fall in line and wish our boys the best.

Tonight will be the first night since I can remember that I will be shutting the system down to test a hypothesis.

you're my secret hiding place where my private thoughts are safe

What an unproductive day. Yesss. Oh wait, most of my days are unproductive, haha. I woke up at 11:15 AM... to turn off my winamp alarm! Then I got back into bed and woke up at like 1:45 or something. I lounged around and watched the Mavs beat the Kings on OT before getting something to eat. Over lunch I caught 10 Things I Hate About You, one of my favorite movies.

"There will be no plowing."
"Who knocked up your sister?"

"What do I have an affect on?
-"Other than my upchuck reflex nothing."

Bring it On was on, and I watched a little bit of that but for some reason didn't go back to it after one of the commercials. Weird. After a bit more of nothingness, I decide to burn off Maid In Manhattan and watch it. I was joined by my parents. For some reason I thought the first part of the movie was kinda sluggish, lacking the typical pace that usually comes with a movie in this genre. The movie did pick up, and you all know how these movies finish, so as usual yay. That and it helps that JLo's the star.

Watched a little tv, including Alias. What will happen in two weeks? I can't wait. Then I got my rear handed to me in two straight Warcraft 3 ladder matches. Stupid Ken doesn't know how to copy a stat take home test so I had to play my match instead. I think my record is 2-7 now. Aw crap, that's quickly approaching my rejection record. Boo.

If certain plans turn out accordingly, I'll make myself not be home on April 5th.

Here are one guy's viewpoints of girls in a few different areas that I've read over the past week. Some points I share, other's I just do not disagree with, lol. Below each link are some selected tidbits from that section.

Height and How It Governs a Man's Life
they (girls) want people to think that all they look for is a good personality. but just as many guys look at physical appearance in girls, so do girls look at HEIGHT.

HEIGHT IS THE #1 PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTIC THAT GIRLS TAKE NOTE OF.

short guys would kill to be taller. tall guys would kill themselves if they got shorter.

usually the guy is taller than the girl, so as a result, he is almost OBLIGATED to be taller.

ALL girls want a tall guy. tall girls want a tall guy, obviously. and SHORT girls want a tall guy, too.

HEIGHT TO A GUY IS LIKE WEIGHT TO A GIRL.

you can always build character, lose weight, build muscle, get smarter, learn how to dress, or improve your sense of humor, but height is one thing in life you cannot change.

the funny thing is that most guys are willing to go for a girl who is a little chubbier than he is...but for MOST girls there is absolutely no way a girl will go for a guy who is shorter than her.

Things That Girls Do That Guys Hate
moody girls suck

rambling is so unattractive...and annoying.

it sucks when they where their ILLINOIS sweatshirt with their warmups every day. too many t-shirts are a no-no, too.

and others do (act too cute) so by raising their voice a full octave above their normal speaking voice.

(girls) expect to be pampered by guy friends, as well, not just boyfriends.

Evil Girls
ANYONE can be all nice and dandy when things go their way, but the second things get rocky....BAM! evil comes out.

insecure girls (redundant) always need to play games in order to TEST the level of friendship that they have with someone. or they do it to TEST their appeal to the male gender. or to TEST how influential they could be towards other guys.

evil girls also tend to be on the more attractive side.

girls love getting inside your head. they like to plant thoughts that you would have never thought of before and leave us dwelling on these corrupted thoughts.

a girl can tell when another girl hates them when the other girl acts TOO polite or TOO kind.

so never trust your first impressions of a girl. get to know her carefully, first. and trust your guy friends when they warn you of girls. you may disagree with them at first, but usually over time you see that they are right.

and the big one...

Can Guys And Girls Be Friends???
so CAN they be friends? YES. Can they be really really close friends??? the answer: NO.

either the guy likes the girl or vice versa. and if there are no feelings in the present, then there were feelings in the past.

there will always be the "what-if" question hovering over the two of you forever.

if you guys are soooo compatible, how could feelings of attraction NOT be on your mind?

you either like them now or have liked them in the past. if you deny this, then you are an idiot.

just cuz you liked them in the past, it doesn't mean you guys are still close.

just because you liked them in the past and are over the person, doesn't mean you have the green light to be best friends with them

don't become best buds with a guy/girl you don't like...they might get the wrong idea.

let guys worry about guys and let girls worry about girls.

This concludes of summary of one guy's opinion.

Okay my bone connecting my leg to my hip is sore again. My knee is also tweaked again. I always seem to tweak my knee. And I just woke up.

i will climb a mountain high, until i was up to touch the sky

As you can tell I woke up kind early yesterday. I was supposed to meet Philip at the Marina Square Starbucks at 10:40 so I could follow him to the gym we were going to, but to remain consistent, I was late and didn't really leave the house till about 10:55. Then as I'm driving on the freeway, for some reason that's still unknown to me, I thought I was going to Newark or something so I get get on 800 south instead of north. Lost of at least five minute there. I show to the Starbucks at 11:15, where Phil's chillin' outside by himself waiting for me, haha. After driving through Oakland a bit, and crossing the bridge into Alameda, we pulled into the school lot by 11:30.

Pretty much five minutes after we enter the gym and change our shoes, we're already playing ball. I hadn't really stretched that well, so for the first few points my reaction time and quickness were pretty reduced and my achilles tendon got pretty sore pretty fast. As the games went on, the soreness subsided a bit, but due to the janky floor, the quickness come back. Instead of being polished wood, the floor was some sort of vinyl or plastic composite type thing, like the flooring you find in some kitchens. That and the fact that nobody thought of mopping the floor. Can't complain much, though. It is afterall a middle school gym. My shooting wasn't all there (something along 3 - 9/10 every game), but I got my points, and I made up for my lacking performance with some monsterous rebounding inside and a few blocked shots. The good thing is, I did have at least 3 points in all three of our half court games to 11, and I had one in the fullcourt game to seven that followed. My highlight of the day was the game winning trey (3 pointer for you basketball illiterate).

Aftewards we went to some Mexican restaurant to chow down on all sorts of you know, Mexican food, haha. I myself had a wet burrito with chile verde, and some sort of cultural specialty drink, all compliments of Phil. Thanks, man. We spent a bit over an hour in there, talking about work, school (yes, calculus is useless), paintballing (lol), and other past childhood experiences. I got home around 3:30.

Turns out Chester and Tom was going to the rec to shoot hoops, so Kevin and I went as well. Good thing I didn't pack my basketball shoes yet. We played two games, and it just overall added to my day of exercise. In our second game, some guy that was like 6'4" at least 250 owned all of us inside. That guy had good hops for someone his size.

As for the evening, the family and a bunch of family friends went to some theatre in Oakland for some Chiense type of production. It's a nice place, except that exiting the building took some time. As we're walking up the stairs Kevin notices Flora with her family so I wave hello before going inside. We end up sitting on the mezzanine level, and it was pretty hard finding seats for a while. Somehow I ended up sitting between my dad and brother, which as you would guess left me with no leg room and less shoulder space. Kevin cheered when one of the emcees started speaking in English, and again rejoiced when he noticed the English subtitles on the screen. Near the beginning I fell asleep, but coincidentally I woke up when a whole bunch of girls came onto stage, haha. I can't find the name of the thing we saw, but it was about appreciating our parents and stuff like that and even though we (the kids) do all these bad things and junk they'll always love us and all that jazz. The whole thing was pretty touching, actually. No, I didn't cry (stop laughing), but it get me in that mood. Especially the part where they mentioned something along the lines of "your birthday is the day your mother suffered the most." I've never thought about it that way. Jeez, all these old people drag me out on a Saturday night to get me on a guilt trip, haha.

OMG I can't find my chapstick! Nooooooo.

i wanna be your air, so sweet and fair

Hey guess what? I didn't miss the daily chem quiz yesterday, haha. Turns out the question on the board read: "Balance this equation: ". Phew. Good thing I knew how to do that. As I'm finishing up on my balancing, I glance around at the people around me out of habit and see them struggling. Yes, the same people that seemed to know what they were doing earlier in the year. This is not to say that I'm doing well now; I simply now how to balance equations, that's all. I can't help but think that the whole point of the intro class I'm in is to teach you how to find moles and stuff like pH and redox equations. That's the junk I learned already. I will be very disapointed if things turn out this way. I only haven't done so well because I find all the previous stuff to be useless. Bio lab was okay; she put on a video on cell division, and I fell asleep. When we were preparing onion slides, I burned the onion. Not so good.

Right after class I went to Costco for some gas. Hello there with the $2.05 a gallon. That's freaking insane. Price gouging, anyone? Later when I read the paper I saw a picture of some gas station selling premium at $4.50/gallon. Time to start walking, maybe? Yeah right. Ridiculous = gas prices. I then stopped by Target. The long and short if it is they basically laid me off. My boss suggested that I "go on leave or resign until summer." Shoot. Fine. I'll go away, and keep my discount, haha. This just means I need to find a job now. Boo. I did however, buy a car cell phone charger for five dollars clearance, and Cruel Intentions on dvd on sale for eight dollars. What an awesmoe movie No more dvds for me for a while. Will have no money soon.

Went to Loretta's house later on to borrow her notes from our honors chem class. I either tossed mine or can't find it. I stayed over there for a few hours just talking about stuff. And she showed me her binder of hot asian guys. Personally I didn't think many of them were hot. That's probably because I'm bias due to my own asian-ness, haha. Oh well. Good fun.

Did absolutely nothing at home. Lounged around, sat in my chair. Didn't even watch tv cuz there was nothing on. It got so bad that I played CS twice today; the first time in at least a month. It's been pretty quiet lately. Sometime during the evening I layed down to take a ten minute nap which turned into an hour long affair.

In the words of Garrett over at http://www.retardedman.com, "go bruins."

StrikeoutK (10:04:04 PM): can you get me a job?
twisbtw (10:04:18 PM): mcdonald's
StrikeoutK (10:04:27 PM): somewhere respectable please
twisbtw (10:04:35 PM): jack in the box?

StrikeoutK (10:54:24 PM): sorry i can't supply girls though
StrikeoutK (10:54:27 PM): oj i can do
StrikeoutK (10:54:28 PM): girls no

That, and I got greedy with the plural and everything.

ghttoboo72 (10:58:29 PM): 750ml prob
StrikeoutK (10:58:41 PM): how many liters is that?

Jeez. What the heck was I thinking? Haha.

and i'm in this thing alone

8:00 AM lab yesterday. We did some chromatography stuff with M&Ms, Skittles, and food coloring. Pretty fun actually. I already posted about the makeup thing down below, so I wont go there again. I did finish early, so I went walked around Costco and ate lunch there as well. I made a stop by Blockbuster, and I ended up buying three movies, including a practically brand new Minority Report; seven dollars each. Whoot. All keep cases with inserts. Unlike CV Blockbuster.

CS lab was killer. If we just did the book assignment, everybody would have been finished in two hours. Never do we just do the book assignment in that class, so modifications made to the program caused much difficulty to most of the class. At the end of the lab session, and half the class stil wasn't done. From the undone half, half went to another lab to finish up while the other half probably just bounced. Around 6:00 PM, mostly everybody started wrapping things up. Some of us spent six hours on one program. Ludicrous.

Nothing tonight except good ol' tv. Friends, Er, and Are You Hot? Oh man, southwest was representin' cuz two of those girls were hot. Just ask Ken for his reaction: " weeeeeeeeeee." When we get to semi finals and finals time, everyone should be attractive.

[21:22] ken: she can be in playboy.....
[21:22] me: i would concur
[21:22] ken: not playboy magazine but this playboy right here!

Thursday, March 13, 2003

I now realize that I owe an apology to my high school chemistry teacher. While doing some reading for chemistry now, it just dawned on me that all the things I thought were crazy back in high school suddenly make sense. I remember how I used to think mole charts were the most retarded thing in the world. Now, they easily explain what I'm doing now better than this book I'm reading. That old guy that nobody really liked knew what he was talking about. I wish I paid more attention then. Note to self: don't screw around in the next lifetime.

OMG I was just on campus for 10+ hours. The sorry thing is, I was actually working my tail off for a fat majority of those hours.

Just to Note
A lot of girls don't wear makeup for 8:00 AM lab. Perfectly understandable, as it's way early. No complaints, gripes, or gestures of support. Simply fact stating.

I'm pretty sure I know everything in chem right now, but I'm just not executing well in there. Test yesterday, and I swear I knew the stuff, and I should. I just don't put forth the effort to know the details of it all. Heckav lazy. It also doesn't help that it's a freaking early morning class. I tell you, class before 10:30-11:00 in the morning is unfair in itself.

In bio our teacher started talking about bioterrorism, haha. Somehow it was related to amino acids and peptid bonds and the like. Apparently she bought a load of duck tape, lol. In CS we learned how to write programs with functions. Well, not really learned, but we're supposed to write one tomorrow, that's all I know. Hahaha calc is one laugher. I don't know jack squat. Help me, please. I need it.

Learned how to pose pictures today. We've been getting shafted with our weaksaue poses at our dances. But don't take that from me; I know nothing, remember?

There's some show on ABC now, something about the All American Girl. I tell you that show looks as if it were being ran by kids or something. As Ken put it, it looks very "amateur"ish. And the girl's aren't all that pretty. Mosey'd on over to American Idol to see who got voted off. Bernie Mac was off the heezy funny, right after. Bernie takes the kids to see a R rated movie, with aliens that scare the girl and sex that interests the guy, haha.

Very nice to know that my bestbuy.com and polo.com orders have been processed.

Oh man, my lower right leg is pretty much useless right now. Last week I some how rolled it on the courts, but I didn't think much of it. Then on Tuesday, I just some how scrubbed for no reason, and on top of that later on, coming down from a jump shot I landed on the guys foot, causing another ankle roll. So basically now my knee is sore, my calf is stiff, and my ankle is limited in mobility. It's all good though, none of these weaksaue injuries are going to hold me back if any more bball were to pop up. Anything less than a sprain, and I'm still going to play. Pulls, twists, jams, soreness, you ask? Heck no. Play hard. Play to win. No pansy excuses. You'll never catch me on the court/field playing hard and not trying to win. Ii'm not going to waste the mojo by not winning. I hate trying and coming up short. Oh wait, we're getting away from sports now.

I was watching Dawson's Creek earlier, and my mom was around so she watched along. I asked her what she thought of Joey, and she said she was cute and had that girl next door-type thing going on, which she does. Awesome. Let me remind you I asked about Joey, not Dawson or Pacey, I say.

It's another nice day out there folks. Enjoy it before the rain comes this weekend.

give me two eyes of blue softly saying, "i need you."

I was going to wake up before noon, but my computer restarted itself so I didn't wake up till like noon. I wanetd to squeeze in The Princess Diaries with my mom, but the bad timetable and all prevented that. I cooked myself some lunch (yes, I can do that, kinda), lounged around, and headed out into town. I stopped by Blockbuster to get some movies, but they only had Unfaithful (the movie that I really wanted) in full frame format, so ended up not getting any movies at all. Too bad. Went to cvhs to watch the badminton match.

It really is a different flavor when you're spectating a sport rather than playing it. Of course it's always nice seeing your younger friends taking over the reigns and play the sport that you once played, but it kinda sucks not being able to do anything except watch and offer constructive criticism (yeah I can't just tell them they suck anymore). Unfortunately, CV badminton came home with a bagel, donut, goose egg, whatever you want to call it. I know the terms because I've gotten so many of them in my lifetime. Anyways, I was talking to Paul about what he thought, and he was very disappointed. He was saying how some people who were playing wouldn't be playing if he were coaching, and that the coach wasn't doing a very good job of helping out the players. I can't say much on that, because it was never my job to worry about those things, but I will say that it is pretty whack to seperate partners up. I only say this because it's pointless to do so, because partners who want to play with one another (lol, you sickos) will inevitably play with one another. This is the nature of high-school aged semi-competative sports. As Paul said, people wont play their best if they're not happy. Also, even with some of the new combinations of partners, it doesn't seem in my opinion to be the best put forth lineup. Always put two stronger players together, and take one more likely win instead of two more likely losses. Never have one rely on one player carrying the other, unless we're talking mixed doubles, which brings me to my next segment. I think I'd make a good coach. After JB and Flora's match, I was telling JB he shouldn't stand so close to the net when serving. Five minutes later, the coach comes over and tells him the same thing. Of course, our reasoning was totally differents. The coach told him to back off so he could get more time and be ready for returns, while I told him it was better to back up a bit to get a feel for depth, and a better view of it all. The court, mind you. Or that's what I'd say as a coach, at least.

American Idol. Bought myself a hat and scarf online. Studied a bit. Probably still going to get owned on my test.

I forgot to mention earlier, congrats to my bro for placing third at DECA state competition.

"Why'd you buy her 40 dollar chocolates?"

Oh man, I just went through my room, and I've realized that I have four unworn pairs of shoes, and one pair I've worn once. I also have another new pair downstairs. No more buying shoes for me. Then I have all the shoes that I do wear. Yikes.

"Don't Dream It's Over"
-Sixpence None the Richer

There is freedom within, there is freedom without
Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup
There's a battle ahead, many battles are lost
But you'll never see the end of the road while you're traveling with me

Hey now, hey now
Don't dream it's over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
We know they won't win

Now I'm towing my car, there's a hole in the roof
My possessions are causing me suspicion but there's no proof
In the paper today tales of war and of waste
But you turn right over to the T.V. page

Hey now, hey now
Don't dream it's over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
We know they won't win

Now I'm walking again to the beat of a drum
And I'm counting the steps to the door of your heart
Only shadows ahead, barely clearing the roof
Get to know the feeling of liberation and relief

Hey now, hey now
Don't dream it's over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
We know they won't win

As featured in Smallville's Talon Mix. This has replaced The Game of Love as the song you'll most likely catch me singing these days.

where the sun and rain come in over my face

Yes, I left home around 9:22 AM yesterday. Obviously I was going to miss my quiz in chem, so I decided to just sit in the car, slightly crack the windows, close my eyes, and listen to the radio. I think I had a dream, too. Before I got too comfortable, it was time to mosey on over to bio class. And yes, I started falling asleep in there too, but not before our quiz results came back. Nine out of ten! Whoot. And the one problem I missed was due to a technicality in the question. There's these two women at my table (one's more than twice my age, while the other's only like 15 years my senior), and they're always laughing at me and making fun of me, mostly for sleeping. After class, in the library, I explained to Johnny and Chester how I managed to stay awake. According to Chester, I was lacking a magnifying glass.

Haha, I need to call a local business and contract a fundraiser with them, lol. It's for real officerness now.

Calc is one big joke. Nobody really understand what the guy's talking about. Something tonight about implicit differentiation and higher derivatives, or some crap like that. I definately know I fell asleep in that class, and I'm pretty sure I daydreamed a little, too.

So yes, I've been told I can be pretty mean at times, and that I treat people differently. This isn't exactly anything new, really. This all goes back to my whole "I don't care when it doesn't matter" thinking, I suppose. Yes, it's not the greatest thing in the world, but hey nobody's perfect, right? If I have treated you like crap, then let me offer an apology. I'm pretty sure I can be nice to everyone, and not just when I want to be. But the thing is, I've already been through that; I've tried it before. Not too long ago, there was a period of time where I really tried to be a nicer, non-condescending person. Oh yes, there was a time where if you wanted something of me, all you'd have to do was ask, and voila. Maybe it is better for everybody if I were nice again. If happiness were rated on a 1 - 10 (highest) scale, and 4 - 6 was average, I think the lowest I'd fall to was a seven on any given day. Not to say that I'm not happy now or anything. I'm more bored nowadays than anything. Ah, how I long for days gone by.

rets0022 (11:39:16 PM): omg... do you EVER talk about ne thing else besides hot girls
At least she's agreeing with me.

Jumpypeanut (12:17:18 AM): hey do you have a gf yet?
StrikeoutK (12:17:21 AM): no
StrikeoutK (12:17:22 AM): do you?
Jumpypeanut (12:17:28 AM): nope no time
StrikeoutK (12:17:35 AM): yeah.. same here

[00:38] i could feel the grease breaking into the balls

rets0022 (12:56:37 AM): you are girlie at times

Hahaha so I'm being told right now that I'm a mean guy and I put on this act to fill this role that exists. I'm also being told I need to be nice to everybody, not just certain people. Haha believe me, I've heard that before. Omg...

For one reason or another, Mac started talking about his prom experience, which occured back in '96. It was a "tragic" story, but a story nonetheless that once told, proved to be an interesting discussion/read. Then we started sharing our own stories, and it turned out be a reflective inlook, kinda. Then stories turned to insults, and that's when I said to stop taking about it. I've now thought of some new chapters to add to my book. At one point, I got called out by multiple people. I have no idea how serious these people are, and I do appreciate the thought/compliment (I think), but I'll just say that there's no way. Though I will not deny the truth in their reasoning, history will not repeat itself. I am no fool.

fly to a place where it's just you and me

Haha woke up a bit after noon, and didn't do anything. The whole day I watched tv. I caught the last few seconds of the Wizards/Knicks game before watching the Lakers/Sixers game in it's entirety. And yes, the Lakers owned it up. After that game, I flipped over to some golf action, and on the second playoff hole both players decided not to putt their seven foot putts because it was too dark. Now they have to get up in the morning and putt before they can go home. Following golf came a few hours where I don't remember what happened. Wached Alias. It was the superbowl episode, but since I like that show so much I couldn't resist.

Chanman007 (10:03:19 PM): it's still gonna be in me though

could i ever believe such a perfect surprise?

Well, I got messed around again yesterday. Deleted my nice little paragraph about it, but oh well. Let's see what happens now. There's only a handful of people that I can think of who would know what to do, and even less people who would take the time to do it.

Thursday night Nick, Tom, Jhermaine, and I went to Berkeley *shudder* to go see Jo do some dance routine thing for AACF (I think). The dance was cool, the little skit thing on life was cool, too. Afterwards some clergyman came up and started making a speech. All I remember him saying was something how while during his college days, he and some girl hit it off, and one night while they were outside his dorm, he asked her to stay the night, she basically said yes, then he started questioning himself yadiyadiyadawhocaresblahblahblahlala. He ended up sleeping alone that night. After his story, I fell asleep. Oops. We kicked it around town for a while afterwards, and left around midnight. That's when I heard someone was messing with me.

From the skit thing they did: "A smart, pretty Chinese girl... that's the least I deserve."

Lots of laughs from the crowd, with some booing from the girls. I started clapping, then I realized I was the only one. Oh well.

As for yesterday, after I got out of class, I went to first Walmart, then Best Buy to buy Kevin a new mouse, cuz his is pretty janky. Afterwards, Nick, Chester, and I went to play basketball at the rec. We first played some 3 vs 3 against some people that were already there. Then some other high school kids came in, and we played 3 vs 3 +1 sub. Not bad, not bad at all. Chester was schooling people like mad with his under arm shots, and him and I tore up the other team's defense with our two man game. I'd find a seam in their defense, slash hard to the basket, and Chester would dish me the ball for some easy layups. Nick had some dominating runs down on the block and a few nice back cuts. Also, after the game, I decided to retire the Iverson's from active basketball duty, and demote them to lawn care detail. I was having a real difficulty with going around defensive picks, and turning the corner when my team would screen for me to drive or shoot. Particularly on the jump shots behind screens because I'd jump without properly setting my feet.

Last night, Chester and Tracy came over and we watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding. So there's this Greek woman, whose thirty and single, and her family's worried about her. She falls in love with this guy that isn't creek, and we have a culture class. Her family is upset because Greek women are supposed to "marry Greek boys, make Greek babies and feed everyone until the day we die.” The movie is however pretty funny, with the Windex and accents and all.

Today, I went out with the parents. We first went to the Mercedes dealer to do some stuff, then went to Long's, Target and Mervyn's. At Target I got some pretty cool plush type pillows for my bed. The lady at Mervyn's wouldn't give me my discount for some bed spread thing we were buying, even though I had my pay check stub. Boo. We then went to the library, and I got some more movies. Yay. Some food shopping then went on, with stops at Albertson's and PW. After a quick stop home, my mom and I went back out to Mervyn's to get my discount, and made a stop at the mall to return something and to do some shopping. We walked into women's Macys's, and I was wondering why there was such commotion. Turns out a fatty 50 percent clearance + additonal 50 percent off women's shoes sale was going on. And we all know how women are when it comes to shoes... and purses. Savage. Shoes all over the floor, women shoving each other up and down the aisles. Jeez. Luckily I made it out unscathed. I ended up getting a pair of shoes from Banana Republic, haha.

Amazing, simply amazing. That's five times now.

hey go play robin hood with someone elses heart
I was late showing up to class, but I managed to write some chicken scratch down in the blue book to get some credit, haha. Umm, in bio, I guess I fell asleep, and the teacher came next to me and said "sleepy time?" Hahaha. Oh well, she was just going over chem stuff anyways that I already knew (whoa). I forgot what exactly, but I was having a good dream, too. That does remind me, I did catch myself daydreaming a few times during the day. Haha, and someone told me that I daydreamed too much. I wish.

As for lunch, Tom, Jhermaine, Kristen and I went to Hacienda to eat lunch. We were first going to eat at At The Border, but decided against it and ate at Fuddruckers instead. Kristen and Tom had some burgers, Jhermaine had some back cheese fries, and I had a side ceasar salad and onion rings. Jhermaine kept making fun of my meal selection. We ate outside, and I couldn't help but feel the sun shining down on me. Haha, yes it felt nice. That is all.

Finished up the calc test retake and homework during our break. We're doing some chain rule thing now. I kinda get it, maybe. Oh well.

After I got home, watched a good game between the Wolves and Kings. Also caught a bit of American Idol and a rerun of Dawson's. Joey Potter : *drool*.

Congrats to all the kiddies who made badminton. And bad Spencer for not listening to Willy.

Nomenclature sucks.

Surprisingly, I'm only slightly sore in the shoulders. Unfortunately, the bones/joints that connect my legs to my hip bone are sore as a mofo, mainly from the quarter mile job the other day.

Kudos to Johnny (aka the one who stole my initials, even though he's older) on his DeathWing. When the W3 expansion comes out, our clan will be more glorified than it already is.
Although I promised last week on my 2002 recap, I haven't been able to put it out. Instead of just outlining then writing, I decided to just write the whole thing first in a word file to paste into blogger. I've written the first four and a half months, and I promise to get the rest done asap.

Click on the lovely Miss Kreuk on the left over there! I want the poster to keep, not to rip people off on ebay.

Yes, my room is finally done. Every poster that I have that I want up is now up. Will be taking pics. Prepare for a gallery. Oh and while putting Miss Kreuk up, I stumbled across my long lost usb cable. Yay.

i'd like to clip your wings so you can't fly

Hahaha walked into chem class late again yesterday, and missed the daily quiz thing. That sucks. While I was sitting in bio lecture, half of the time sleeping, the the other half just generally wandering around, something smack me on the back of my head (figuratively, mind you) and I experienced a revelation. Ask me what it was and I will tell you.

Whoot my cs math skills are weak. I did however get shortchanged two points, so I will be getting those back. Also, there was a five percent curve, so that's a whoot. Ah yes, calc sucks. Something about the derivative of sinx is cosx and the derivative of cosx is -sinx. Or some crap like that. Time almost stands still in there. Alomst. Tell him that and he'll tell us to find the derivative of some equation for time, probably.

Nothing was on tv, so I've decided to work on my life sized poster of Kristen Kreuk. I hope to get her up before I sleep.

StrikeoutK (11:37:25 PM): does the pickup line "nice shoes, wanna *#$\?" work

but i really need to get it together

My room is coming along nicely. I'm basically out of wallspace. Plus I still have to put up a bulletin board that's pretty big in it's own respect. I wonder what's gonna happen when I get new posters, or next year when new calanders come out, haha. "Mount on the ceiling", you say? Maybe. Then again, I've been thinking about saving it. Then yet again, the reason's kinda cheesy or something. Who knows. The only poster left I have to put up is the Kristen Kreuk one. I personally think it would be better if she were wearing a skirt instead of jeans.

Gerald apparently had a grand ol' time at the SLO version of Mardi Gras. I will be visiting him the same time next year.

Sunday today, so naturally caught Alias. We all know how I feel about that show and it's star.

To put the poster together, or work on my 2002 recap?

Sounds like Ken saw some leftover pasta lying around the fridge, but decided against eating it.

Hey so yesterday evening a bunch of the 02 crew went over to Chris Park's house to hang out. It was nice seeing a lot of people again, especially since I wasn't around here for the holidays. Mostly it was all local people, none of the fortunate one's who were able to go to school down south. And luckily, there were no conflicts of any kind.

athena r0x (7:21:10 PM): you would be hitting on the 6th grade girls

StrikeoutK (2:39:37 AM): yeah
TomEboy04 (2:39:45 AM): would you feel like going through all the work and taking it down?

Excellent point. No, I wouldn't feel like going through all the work.

put that face away i'm melting for you

Falling In Love
Yeah that's me. Not really. For all one of you that believed me... fool. As for the rest of you that either laughed your butt off or banged your head on your desk, boo. It's just that I can't get enough of Jennifer Garner. Ken, Kevin, Nick, and I saw Daredevil. There was something of a plot; something like the guy's dad was killed when he was a kid, so he's decided to take justice into his own hands. But who cares! I didn't really fork over the money for that reason. It took a while, but Miss Garner finally appeared on screen, and Ken and I rejoiced. I think she even made the movie it for Nick, but only "when her hair is covering her cheeks." Jeez. And people tell me I'm picky. Anyways, I'd just like to say that the appeared to be obvious near the end of the movie isn't true. I'd freaking cry if it were. To conclude, the arf is for real.

"Can you tell me where the honey is?"
-"Right in front of you."
"Could you be a little bit more specific?
-"What are you..."
"Blind? Yeah."

The only thing about this movie: Ben Affleck moves down one spot on my likeability ladder, but has shot up on my admirability ladder.

Bio lab yesterday. We were doing some chemistry-style experiments. In the prelab lecture, I learned more chem than in my chem class. Earlier today, Kevin and I went to the library, where I got a few more movies, and Kevin got a book (to read, I think). Then we went to Target. I bought some chapstick.

Some more Willy:
Wai108 (2:14:55 AM): how did this end up about me
Wai108 (2:14:59 AM): we were talking about your issues

Wai108 (2:25:18 AM): if you could tell nothing but the truth for one day
Wai108 (2:25:21 AM): i think you would get owned
Wai108 (2:25:24 AM): left and right
StrikeoutK (2:25:33 AM): i don't lie
StrikeoutK (2:25:34 AM): ahahh
Wai108 (2:25:35 AM): you'd be lucky if you were to come back home alive
StrikeoutK (2:25:39 AM): hahaaha
StrikeoutK (2:25:42 AM): trippin

StrikeoutK (10:15:19 PM): go straight to the hole
ShrimpSiumai (10:15:41 PM): that's gonna hurt
ShrimpSiumai (10:15:43 PM): wait, n/m
ShrimpSiumai (10:15:45 PM): wrong subject
ShrimpSiumai (10:15:46 PM): sorry
