I woke up with my parents telling me one of the black neon tetras had died. Nobody could find the carcus, so I figured the ghost shrimp ate the remains. Then we saw a fin sticking out of the gravel. Turns out the fish was still alive, and freed itself after we moved around the gravel. Stupid young fish. After eating lunch I went around town with my parents to run some errands. We stopped by Petco on the way back and I picked up two pairs of fish to add to the tank. Ended up getting tiger barbs and black tetras. Pics will be up soon.

Wow. Did anyone else catch that pathtic excuse of a football game? That was quite an embarrassing 50 point lost. I've never seen that happen in person. Wow. Horrible, just horrible. Good thing the season's over.

After the game Chester and I found a Wendy's and ate dinner. There were two girls there, one of which was pretty cute and came with all the options. We then practiced and refined some of my perfected techniques I learned three years ago.

Great movie. It should be one of those must sees. I now give everyone nine months to see movies that should be seen. I don't understand why this movie hasn't done better at the box office. Instead of seeing a quality 2+ hour movie, people go see garbage such as Cat in the Hat and Gothika.

Okay the post to cover the past 1.5 weeks:

Black Friday

Woke my ass up at 5:30 to make it to Best Buy around 6:00. The line to get into the store had wrapped around to the back of the store to car installation, but there was very little wait. After initially making a few laps around the store, I came up emptyhanded. As I was standing around, deciding whether or not to go back home and sleep, employees put down a pallet right in front of me, and started stacking the dvd +-i r/rw drives. I grabbed one, and a dvd player before getting in line. By this point, the line had looped around the store as it normally would, back toward the front where the registers are. Then it turned towards the middle of the store between the dvd/video games section and hooked again back past dvds and towards cds. It was probably going to be a two+ hour wait. Ten minutes after waiting in line, I noticed that the pda/cell phone register was taking purchases, as long as you bought something in the department. After a retarded computer/register/server issue that should have never happened, I made out with my stuff.

Stopped by Target for no other reason than to say hello to Nick and Jhermaine, and to see who the hell works there now. Needless to say, nevermind. Went to Petsmart afterwards to get some ghost shrimp. Ten minutes after putting them into my tank, I had trouble finding them, haha. Hopefully they will be okay.

Dropped everything off at home before heading out to Walgreens to unsuccessfully buy more stuff. Made a stop at Albertson's to get something for the potluck. Got there, greeted some people while eating, and hung around for a bit. Always nice seeing friends from high school. Wiz was a no show, puwahahaha.

Plans for a eventful Friday night needlessly to say fell through. Instead I watched some tv shows/movies going on and saw the Lakers kick the Spurs off the court.

Thanksgiving and Wednesday
T-day was a small family affair. Nothing extra special, just a nice sit down dinner. That afternoon Chester, Gerald, and I went to the rec to play some ball. It's a damn good thing my o-game is still there, because my defense sucks cheeks these days. For my day off Wednesday, I think I just stayed home and did nada.

Useless Two Days Of Classes
Monday was classes as normal. I think after class monday I went to the library. As the lady was checking out my dvds, she looks at one and says something to the effect of "there's a great love scene in this one." Tfg is she talking about. So I'm standing there with a blank stare on my face, trying not to acknowledge the statement because 1) I don't want it to seem like that's why I'm getting the movie and 2) I don't want to seem like an idiot because everyone should have already seen that movie.

So I had a 5 page term paper due Tuesday, and I didn't start it until 10 pm Monday. I write 2.5 paragraphs before turning in, deciding to wake up at 7:00 the next morning. Alarm goes off, and I end up not getting out of bed until 8:00 haha. Suck me. You know how in term papers you gotta do research and junk? Nope, not I. I wrote the whole thing based on information I knew already. I put together five pages of text before heading out to school, arriving there twenty minutes earlier than usual. Nope, I wasn't completely done. Have to cite your paper, and to a works cited sheet. Ended up making up the latter, and throwing in random citations into the paper (like adding an (amazon.com) as one of my sources, bwahaha). After that garbage, I do the title page and have to submit my paper to a damn plagiarism checker website. I obviously will not be accused of copying anybody's work on this paper, haha. With this paper, I'll either be a genius, or an idiot. Thank you, thank you.

Big Game
Yes, yes. Saturday Chester and I went to the UCB @ Stanford football game. We got there a little early and went to the shopping center to eat brunch. I haven't been there in like two years. While walking around the parking field toward the stadium, some dude picked up some plastic cups on the ground and says "I'm just being good alumni. It must have been some Cal fans." Bwahahaha gfg. Then when we're almost at the stadium at a corner, I ended up being surrounded by the wrong crowd. Everybody was either wearing blue or gold, and I was right there in the middle sporting my Stanford color sweater, haha. The crowd started doing some of those "go bears" cheers around me. The green light could not have come sooner.

I was going to buy a Stanford hat from a street vender for five dollars, but the hat that I wanted was sold by his buddy to the fan in front of me. Bummer.

UCB came out on top in the end, but at least two of their retarded fans got arrested, one of which got beat down and dragged away. Sucker.

Last Week

I was pretty busy last week. Had a few tests, and was tired quite often. On Wednesday I went to Ian's to study for econ. I ended up missing a lot of tv shows last week, those of which have since been made up. All except the VS fashion show, that is. Who would have thought I'd not seen it yet?!

Over the weekend I set up and started a fish tank. It has since been occupied by two species of fish: striped black neon tetras and spotted danios. Within another week or two, I'll put some other fish in.

WTF I'm crazy. Christ.

Not much to report. I forgot to mention last week that I finished and turned in my college applications, haha. Suck. Same number of schools as two years ago, with a few variations. I'll go to most of them fosho, and I'll only think about 2.5 of them. Uhm, remember back in the day when I said I wouldn't apply under a psych (or anything similar) major because I don't care enough for people's problems? That's what I applied under for a couple of schools, haha. The rest are something pretty close to it. Wish me luck. If I get 3x more acceptances than last time we're going out for Jamba Juice. Funny how things change over time.

Music class got cancelled. That just means I could have left campus around noon. Then that just means I could have stayed home the whole day.

Jennifer Garner did the intro for MNF, then made an appearance in the broadcast booth. She's a Niners fan!!! Woowoo! By the time the game was over, Britney Spears was doing a promo concert for her new album. Then I caught her on Leno. In between I caught this Wednesday's O.C. Anyways back to Britney. It's been a blitz lately with all of her appearances, but I'm not complaining. I was thinking earlier, you can look at her and hold whatever image you do, whether it being clean or not, but in watching her interviews, everytime she smiles, I think of and see a sweet and cute and adorable young woman. =)

Went 0-3 in playing TFT with Mac. Suck.

Went to Costco for 1) drop off job application 2) get lunch. I bought a package of sushi and ended up with a stomach ache. I want to say it's from eating all 15 pieces in a relatively short period of time.

Got home and didn't do anything until some TV was one. Of course watched Smallville Followed that with The Bachelor. Two women left. I can't wait. I'm almost sure of who will get picked. Tried to squeeze in some NBA action where I could.

Signed up for next semester's classes. Almost had the sweet two days a week schedule, but someone jacked my spot within a two hour period. Hopefully I get lucky here.

Now that that's over with. Been keeping up with the opening of the NBA season. I try to catch every game that's on cable tv (damn that NBATV crap). Let me think what else. I think I'll just blurb out random things. Finished my personal statements for applications, so I should be applying... soon. Yesterday while at the computer lab, with much time to kill I downloaded Simpson's Halloween episode and watched it there. Went to the library, and almost got in trouble. Didn't get to watch too much tv cuz our cat 5 cable broke so we had to make a new plug. Kevin n00bed the first one and got the color order mixed up.

After class today I went to the LPC library to copy the solutions manual for a bit. Came home, and caught up with the shows that I missed last night. Las Vegas and Skin. She looked pretty damn good in that dress in the hotel scene. Woowoo. Also watched tomorrow's episode of The OC because I know I have to catch The Bachelor cuz I can't download that.

Tired As Hell
I couldn't sleep last night. I went to bed at 2:30 and remember seeing the clock at 4:00. I hate that. The only thing I can remember thinking about were two times I got turned down for dates. Both with the same reason: "tengo un novio." Notice the quotes. To defend myself, my two excuses for the mishaps were I didn't know about "him", and he lives on the east coast (like that's going anywhere), respectively. Bwahahahaha. The worst parts were my responses to the crap excuses. Instead of asking "are you sure?" (or some other similar poppycock) I should have said "so what" or a "it doesn't bother me" type of thing. Next time I come back with such pansy responses, smack me. Thanks.

Got accounting tests back. 18 people passed, 12 didn't. Teacher can go to hell. I don't understand how he can stand talking to himself, because that's basically what he does some of the time.

Hey because CV is just so damn great, I did absolutely jack shit the whole day. Well, I watched some basketball, but that's a given. Played some tft too, good stuff. Re-bleached the hair, and I'm good to go until Christmas.

I was awoken at 6:00 in the morning by the sound of rain. Just to make sure I wasn't imagining things, I got up and looked out my window to make sure. As someone pointed out, it seemed like morning the whole day.

Too bad that banner up top ruins the mojo (although ucb basketball has been pretty impressive these past few years). Oh that reminds me. I was checking out the new Jessica Simpson music video, enjoying myself when suddenly she pops up sportin' a Cal visor. Bah. That kills the flow.

I tell you, you people are killing me. If I read another "life sucks/in the shitter" blog I'm going to smack someone. Feel free to continue writing about your problems though; it probably keeps you sane. Now I remember why I stopped doing daily reads and moved to twice a week instead.
