Only Myself To Blame
Next time I ask if someone's going, I'll be looking for more than a yes or no answer. Therefore, hereon, I'm going to ask you what you're doing before the agreed said time you are to appear, and how long it's going to take, because nobody leaves a task started and undone. If no time can be determined (as in the case of the ambiguous "I'll be there" or "I'll be late"), I will ask you where you are going (to determine driving time needed), how long you will be there, and if you're really sure you're still coming. I will not ask you what you're doing out there, because no longer do I seek excuses. I know you have other "things to do." So do them. No more will activities be dicked over by the power of the flake, like SB does all the time. Don't feel bad though, it's my fault for not looking for more detailed answers out of you.
While I'm here, one thing I'll never understand are curfews for peers during weekends and holidays (i.e. non school days). What the gay? Even with school days you should be able to determine with your own best judgement how late to stay out. The worst thing is someone who lives away for school and still comes home and still has to be home at a certain time. Christ. If you tell your parents you're gonna be out late then that should be the end of it. I'm not saying come home at 3, 4, 5 o'clock constantly, but anything earlier shouldn't even be a damn problem. Amazing. Same thing when someone uses the excuse my parents think it's too late to go out. Christ.

arriving too late, and leaving too soon
Hello all, hello all. Sometime during the week I saw Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life. Simply said, forget the jibber jagger dialogue, and just watch the explosions and shoot outs and action scenes. My only real complaint was that the khaki outfit in this outting fails to compete with the grey cat suit in the last movie.
Thursday after stopping by LPC to drop off some homework, Chester, Nick, Steph, and I ate lunch at Black Angus. Haven't been there in a while, and it was good food. Too bad most of us were like full by the time the entrees came, haha.
Chester: Did you hear banging on the door?
I did not.
Chester: I told Branden to bang on the door because I didn't want you to start makin' babies.
MAKING BABIES HAHAHAHA!!!
Afterwards some more of us played some bball at the rec. A few people showed, and we were able to play some 4v4 and 3v3. That night Gerald, Will and I went to see The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, the obvious choice. At first we were gonna catch the 8:30 showing, but the only seats left were the front rows, so screw that. We were then willing to shell out the extra dollar for the IMAX screening, but that was sold out; damn nerds. We then settled on the 11:20 showing.
With a few hours to kill, we headed over to Target. Before we went in I ran into Sam in the parking lot so I stopped to say hello. Inside, we walked around looking for nothing in particular before stopping to visit Nick working at food avenue. We all got something to eat, and Nick hooked a lot of stuff up. Thanks dude.
We got to the theatre and spaced out across one of the middle rows. Always great having those extra empty seats next to you and not have to worry about elbowing the person next to you, haha. The movie itself (and the trilogy) can be summed up in one word: epic. It is simply fantastic. Forget about how long it is, or how unhetero the hobbits are, the movie is great. I got that sad-but-joyful feeling during one of the ending scenes of the movie. I get that a lot watching movies now; I must be getting old. As for the rest of you who hasn't seen it yet: go see it. For those of you who haven't seen the series at all, I have to ask: what in the hell are you doing?
Woke up at 2:00 Friday afternoon. Evening consisted of a CV c/o 2002 tree group (plus E. Buth) gathering at Jenny's house where just about everybody showed. We shared dinner, held a white elephant gift exchange, played foosball, and generally just chatted with one another. Always great seeing old friends.
I appreciate your humor now. Back in high school I didn't really understand it, but now I do.
Aww thanks! It wasn't easy being ahead of my time.
As for today so far, I've been watching football and saw Wake Forest take UNC in triple overtime. While in bed I snoozed from noon till about 1:30, haha.
I have more respect for women now because they wear the wire.
Always enter from the top, if possible.
Great advice!

watch for the emotions on a guarded face saying lead me on
Wow it has been an interesting couple of days. Monday morning was the accounting final. I thought the bastard teacher was going to make me switch seats again because I was sitting between two people, but he didn't. So uhm we tried to help each other out on the test, and for some short answer questions we basically just rewrote the same thing more than once, haha. Anyways I think we all passed; we shall see.
Came home because I had to finish some stuff off. Went back to campus and sat through some music presentations. I was ready to go with my presentation of Hilary Duff, but fortunately all I had to do was turn it in. The rest of the day I can't remember.
Tuesday morning was the econ final. I was gonna wake up an hour early to study but yeah right that was happening. For the first twenty five questions I probably only got one wrong, but the second half of the test just owned me. Oh well.
Afterwards I think I went around town getting some fish medicines and water testing kits. Apparently the target nitrite reading is supposed to be 0 ppm, but turns out my water is somewhere over 10 ppm. Anything over 6 is toxic to fish, bwahaha. Christ. No wonder all the new fish I add end up croaking. Played some bball 3v3 bball with the guys in the afternoon.
Evening came around and some of us rolled out to SJ for a party. It was a (fucking) blast and I'll be looking forward to the next one. Hopefully I wont get my ass kicked first. Please do refer yourself to Chester (or Gerald, but he probably wont be much help either) for details, as I wasn't really thinking straight at the time.
do you think you could handle a girl like me?
As for Wednesday, I eventually was able to fall asleep, and ended up waking up around noon. I wasn't really planning on doing anything because I still had a little bit of a head ache and my stomach wasn't in the greatest shape. Didn't really matter as we ended playing some full court bball at the rec, haha. Cold as heck, but hey, just do it. As Gerald said, we might actually play better while suffering the aftereffects of a wild evening. I sure as heck didn't feel as winded as I normally would, haha.
Stephen came over and we tried to do a little homework but it wasn't so productive. Ended up just watching tv, most notably The OC. Hahaha that was such a great episode. The sister is pretty hot. That black dress was so arf! YIKES.
My computer is broke right now and I'm on a laptop. Due to this reason, I don't have a quotes.txt file. Boo.
Should I be carrying a raincoat from now on?
i'm just trying to make up for the last 1.5 years
-1.5 years? you mean like the last 4
that is true

Right now I'm watching an episode of One Bad Trip and while checking out their reactions at the end, the only thing I could think about is how I must have looked last night. BWAHAHA LOL!!! DON'T EVER STOP.

Priceless
I got in bed sometime between 12:30 and 1:00 (can't exactly remember) and passed out. Woke up at 6:00 from a stomach ache / spinning head / extreme thirst. Went to the bathroom and still couldn't walk straight. Had a few urges to upchuck. Couldn't sleep for another hour+ because the sun was being too bright. Now it's past noon and I'm hungry as hell.
It was worth it and I'd do it all again.

as i have given you my hand to hold
so i give you my life to keep
That has to be one of my favorite proverbs/verses/sayings ever.
Another long week has gone by. Tuesday's one class was nothing. I finished my take home test while watching 24, which I turned in the next day. A few more people presented in music, and that was that. Thursday econ was in and out in 30 minutes to complete a test that I didn't do as well as I should have. Throughout the week I've had various additions and subtractions (fish wise) due to reasons unknown. Friday's accounting class consisted of getting said take home tests back (there were 20 A's, 5 B's, and a C). We had a quiz (always "nice" of the teacher to tell us how many true/false answers each there are), and as always our corner of the class turned in the same answers. Afterwards Stephen and I made up an earlier test, which consisted redoing the exact same copy of what we missed. Needless to say everybody who does a retake should do well. Chester, Tom, and I went to In and Out for lunch, and played some bball afterwards.
those girls are looking at you.
me: i know
Friday night (I think) I went to Petco (I'm probably wanted there now) to look at fish (of course), and I saw a pigment of my past. I'm sorry to say, I still felt the "got owned" feeling. That, and I could feel myself getting hotter for a while. You pansy.
Saturday afternoon consisted of, get this, a study session at the library. LOL. Me, studying at a library. Go figure.
Night/morning was fun. Everything was cool, except the same "roadblock" I always come accross was there again. In a related subject: gank gank gank away! That is one of my goals in life. We came home to hella heavy rainfall and a half blacked-out CV, haha. As soon as I got home and changed under candle/lighter light, I hit the sack and did not wake up until 1:00, and didn't get out of bet for another hour.
Now I must work on some finals junk. I'm sure I saw a few movies and TV shows and sports games but I have forgotten about them. Oh yes, I saw the big wedding on Wednesday. It was great and all, but I wasn't feeling the commercials every five minutes. One more thing, damn UCB for messing up the BCS. Wth is the Insight Bowl? A better question, how many people actually know what BCS stands for? Go back to studying.
ShrimpSiumai (10:28:37 PM): you should make a dichotomous key of girls just for the hell of it
(10:49:14 PM): but tryin to find an a team to wear somethin like that is like stealin their calc book

[15:41] not your's though
[15:41] too big
Thank you, thank you.
ghttoboo72 (2:23:27 PM): when u wanna ball big boy?
[23:15] oh well, our love life's a game so back me down in the paint
Well said.

why don’t we all do it again?
that’s when the fun really begins
Sorry for the 3 day hiatus ( dictionary.com). Quick recap of the weekend:
Friday - After class Stephen and I ate lunch in Dublin. I then came home to change for a shoot around with Chester and Tom at the rec. Nothing except watched some bball games.
Saturday - One swordtail died, so I returned the corpse and the still living one back for refunds. Got some gouramis and chink algae eaters. Hopefully these turn out better. Sometime during the day Kevin and I saw The Matrix Reloaded. Okay I've concluded there's only one way to watch this trilogy: just sit back and enjoy the special effects and sound and don't even listen to the dialogue cuz it's crap anyway they try to sell it.
Sunday - woke up and watched the Niners own up on the Cardinals. I was going to watch Intermezzo, but when the first scene played out in Sweedish (I think), I decided I didn't feel like reading subtitles. Instead I watched Tuck Everlasting. You know what? It wasn't bad. The only thing missing was Lorelai, err. Finished up the evening with Alias and The Practice. I stayed up till 2:30 making corrections to my test for the redo.
As for class today, I was pretty much beat from not being able to fall asleep. Came home after accounting to eat lunch and to take a nap. In music class, only two people made final presentations, haha. It was supposed to take the whole period, but we left like thirty minutes early cuz there was nothing else to do. I wanted to do my presentation on Britney Spears, but apparently she's taken already. A group of two girls and a guy wrote everything up, but apparently the guy didn't know who they were doing and backed up. Haha sucker. The (hot) girls (most likely sarcastically) asked if I wanted to replace the dropout. Nah, it wouldn't have been fair. Now I'm deciding between Jessica Simpson and Hilary Duff; decisions, decisions.
Chester, Tom, and I went to the rec for another shoot around. Sometime later Justin showed so we played some two on two. We all haven't played in a long time, but it's nice to know we can still ball.
I had a dream one recent night. One of the guys (I told that person it was them) and I were at the mall (I think) just walking around looking at stuff. While looking at one of the round racks in one of the stores, we looked up and noticed two girls looking back at us. Yeah so blahblahblah we started walking around when someone (I forgot who) wanted to get some ice cream. It was a rectangular table, and my friend and I sat on opposite sides, with our right arms on the outside. Anyways that's all I can remember about my friend, haha. So yeah I was eating ice cream from a cup and I spoonfed her. Then we held hands under the table. "ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!" That is all. Ice cream, anyone? I'd offer some Coldstone but that place isn't good anymore.
It's going to be a long and difficult next two weeks. Here's hoping nobody fucks up too badly.
(PM): i kept rubbin up on girl's asses and they didn't seem to care
Damn you all!!!

i’ll take you to spend in my way, just give in when you are ready to play
Stopped at the library to get some stuff before coming home. After giving one last try on ripping/encoding sex and the city I went downstairs to watch The Seven Year Itch with my mom. It was a little slower paced than I could usually stand, but since it's one of those old classical flicks I was determined to sit through it. I think this was my first Marilyn Monroe movie that I've actively watched. The movie did have it's moments and satires, and those were cool.
A whole lot of nothing happened. Watched a little of the Bulls/Sixers game but who really cared. Main event was Lakers @ Mavs, and needless to say we know who won. It was only close for about six minutes.
A new episode of E.R. finished off the evening.
(5:46:19 PM): did she still have the lip gloss?
(5:46:22 PM): that shit is hottt
StrikeoutK (5:46:28 PM): i wasn't paying attenion

(6:02:53 PM): i wish they have a sign over their head
-(6:02:57 PM): just be like me

the notes are old; they bend, they fold, and so do i to a new love
Remember that econ term paper I wrote last week in 3-4 hours? I got a B on it. So I'm not an idiot. Let this be a lesson to you all. For research term papers, writing the paper solely based on what you know beforehand with made up citations and legit but unused works cited will pass you. Good luck.
Nothing after class. Saw the first episode of The Simple Life, and it was hilarious. Followed that with 24, and the premier of Line of Fire, which looks pretty good. It might have to do with the fact that Leslie Bibb is in it. I had no idea she was 30 years old!
I got to the LPC parking lot in the morning, and fell asleep in the car, haha. Two hours later I woke up. Eventually I decided to drive around and find some lunch. Eventually I found a Taco Bell, but before eating I stopped by Big 5 to look at some snowboard deals. After lunch I went to a specialty pet store to look at the fish they had. A lot more impressive than what you usually see at Petsmart/Petco. They had turtle tanks, assorted crustaceans, and some awesome saltwater fish. They even had hugemo reef tanks with sharks! That place was so exotic that a frog got out and was jumping around the floor, haha. Maybe I'll be buying something from them soon.
In my music class we watched a movie introducing and discussing different aspects of jazz. It was actually pretty interesting. I know this because I was awake for the whole thing! After class stopped by Costco to buy some stuff.
Since the NBA TV schedule is so whack, I resorted to watching the Lakers come back in the 4th quarter to beat the Spurs. As for real TV, I watched The Simple Life (with the cool kid and the pansy dog), and Trista and Ryan's Bachelor & Bachelorette parties.
Oh, and with The O.C. Can someone please explain to me what Seth is doing? He told both girls who liked him (and he liked both) they should just be friends. WTF? I can't decide if it's "honorable" or totally asinine. Wait, wait, you have to be kidding me. Chivalry's dead. Oh.
Although a day or two late, I'd like to wish Miss Britney Spears a wonderful twenty second birthday. Remember to call me, k?
StrikeoutK (5:36:16 PM): seeing anyone now?
(5:36:19 PM): nope
(5:36:25 PM): and thats not an invitation
Suck. =\
[10:32] me: looks like a feisty one
[10:32] d: just the way i like it
StrikeoutK (2:33:13 PM): http://www.theplace.ru/rating/voter.php?pic=adriana_lima/img/limaphoto00530.jpg&name=Adriana%20Lima you see that yet?
StrikeoutK (2:33:22 PM): take your pick
DasButh228 (2:33:47 PM): toughest decision of my life
[17:56] he's being you
[17:57] me: if by that you mean newbie/sucker
[17:57] affirmative
StrikeoutK (12:18:59 AM): there's a pic of her sister in here somewhere
StrikeoutK (12:19:01 AM): i'm trying to find it
(12:26:19 AM): i don't get it
(12:26:26 AM): for some unknown reason
(12:26:31 AM): he brings home results
(12:26:43 AM): like to us normal guys, we question
(12:26:53 AM): but to the girls, he's quality goods
StrikeoutK (12:33:04 AM): is my voice more annoying on the phone or in person
ShrimpSiumai (12:33:39 AM): well, 1/2 the time you're speakin spanish on the phone
ShrimpSiumai (12:33:40 AM): hahah
StrikeoutK (12:33:51 AM): LOL
ShrimpSiumai (12:33:54 AM): um
ShrimpSiumai (12:33:56 AM): in person
ShrimpSiumai (12:34:00 AM): cuz it's not as high on the phone
StrikeoutK (12:34:00 AM): ok
StrikeoutK (12:34:13 AM): i exceed the range
ShrimpSiumai (12:34:18 AM): it like peaks out at 10
ShrimpSiumai (12:34:22 AM): your pitch is like 15
ShrimpSiumai (12:34:28 AM): so therefore 10 sounds better than 15
StrikeoutK (12:34:38 AM): gg
ShrimpSiumai (12:34:39 AM): as a comparision, justin timberlake's helium voice is 20
StrikeoutK (12:34:47 AM): damn i wish i had 20
StrikeoutK (12:34:50 AM): then i can be pimp like him
ShrimpSiumai (12:40:47 AM): you better hussle and stop going to costco for free food
[00:42] i was looking thru our senior ball pictures, and the only thought that came to mind was: damn, at least we all looked good
Corinny O (1:48:29 AM): doesn't take much to get u up

i'm moving on; she knows i was wrong
After accounting class it started to rain, so I went home. Stopped by the library to drop some stuff off. Came home to eat lunch. Went to Petco to return a fish. Apparently the mofo jumped out of the tank sometime over the night! What an idiot! They gave me another one, so all is well. Hopefully not another one goes crazy one me. Went back out to LPC for one more class before coming home and doing nothing.
Monday night football (which the Titans lost, btw), a nap, and Las Vegas concluded my evening. Tonight's LV guest starred Hugh Hefner; the show is really taking off. Don't know who he is? Leave now.
I've decided to really try to get back into shape. Why, you ask? No, it's not for the obvious social reason (like they really care that much what you look like). Simple. The answer is in the picture: to play effective basketball again. So I can play good d and be able to stay in front of people and not give up easy layups, and so I can turn the corner on someone in isolation. I can't even remember the last time I got up for a reverse layup like that. Wish me luck.
Ladies: want to see something unfair? There you go. Sorry. Thanks to Ken, obviously.
me: my fish jumped out of the tank
aeri: what were you doing to it?

wish cast into the sky, sweet beginnings do arise
All I did today was wake up at 2:00 in the afternoon and do nothing. Watched some sports, then decided to return the Tiger Barbs I bought Saturday. I got some Red Wag Platys and Neon Swordtails as replacements. No more fish for at least another two weeks. Oh here are the Black Skirt Tetras.
TV for the night included a titillating episode of Alias and a pretty good The Practice. That is all.
StrikeoutK (4:05:22 AM): we shall see
StrikeoutK (4:05:28 AM): in the mean time
