my love for you insatiable
Got the sociology midterm back today. Not bad, B'd it. Assigned a group project. Bah. That is too much work for an elective. Came home, was gonna make lunch, but realized that cvhs got out already. Picked up bro, came back home, and proceeded to make myself a tuna with roast beef sandwich. Those things are pretty good, and healthy, too. We should get some more tuna in this house.
Because I'm a loser, I did nothing on Halloween. At least in high school I was a loser who had something. Tonight was no such case. Watched two bball games, Off Centre, and ER. The trick or canning people (read: Kenji) came by our house around 7:00 PM. Ah!? Two hours into the start of the evening? What? Whose group finished their assigned area in less than an hour? Someone remind me because I might have forgotten. Anyways. Yeah Ken came by, and he complained about my donation. Loser. That's one meal from my mouth and into the mouths of two right there. Then he made off with a rice crispy treat. Bah.
To continue the streak of learning new things, I made rice today. Yeah, I know. Pathetic.
I finally put in my amp order. Should be here in 3-5 days. Also, this came in the mail the other day. Nice. I have to get some homework done tomorrow. Saturday is ownage day, and Sunday I know I'm not gonna feel like working. Have to finish at least the reading.
In response to my away message ("40 minute shower session"):
[00:28] person 1: why 40 min shower
[00:28] person 1: you could bath a whale with that amount of water
P8percut23 (10:49:41 PM): dude jerry
P8percut23 (10:49:48 PM): there's something i've been wanting to tell you
Omg, no.
P8percut23 (10:50:23 PM): well...
P8percut23 (10:50:27 PM): it's come to my attention
Please don't tell me I foresaw the future..
P8percut23 (10:50:40 PM): that for the years i've known you...
Phew. Goodness me.
38 hours until [used to be (g)]xs @ #arf basketball.

Well the toilet was getting unsightly and a tad reeky. Since I couldn't put up with it anymore, I cleaned the sucker. The hardest part was cleaning the crack between the top of the bowl and the seat, where the hinges are. Ooh, look at the pretty blue water. Spotless bowl. Ah the end result? A toilet so clean you could eat off it. Well, actually, probably not a good idea. In climax fashion, everything at the end went fine, except the toilet didn't take too kindly to the paper towels. Thanks to my great plunger work, the problem was quickly and cleanly resolved. My first toilet cleaning!
Here are some toilet related convos:
[00:03] jlu hey

so addicted to you
Well so we got back our english midterms today. Not bad, not bad. Instructor was saying something like teachers are like dictionaries; they're indispensable... or something. Talking about midterms, need to read the prompt to understand blahblahblah there was a (score of) 95 blahblahblah need to answer each little question in the directions. *raises hand* All of the sudden the instructor knows my face and my name now. Crap. After some morons in psych class finally got with the program, we split up what we were supposed to do. And I can do my paper on Turner's Syndrome after all. Cool beans. We're starting basic trig identities now. Not so cool.
After the first complete night of fantasy basketball, my team is currently fourth out of ten teams. Go (team) pansy!
Oh I picked up some Crest whitestrips today. Only sixteen dollars and change, thanks to Flora's coupon. I will let everyone in on the results whenever I use up all the strips, duh.
Ah, in the mail today came a package for me. First we have a Xbox beanie, followed by a Xbox hat, and completed with a Xbox game, Project Gotham Racing.
Some Kaiser crap I got the other day in the mail notifying me I have a woman doctor now:
Am I depressed? Saying no to peer pressure (some of you are experts). Finally, duh with the first three lines.
[11:41] Willy: the lengire one
Haha, I think he means lingerie.
StrikeoutK (12:05:38 PM): i need an hw question
xSilverbackx (12:06:54 PM): uhm... why is the sky blue?
Hahaha lol.
rets0022 (1:22:32 AM): you're practically a guy who's all about a girl's physical appearance
Maybe... 10 months ago. A summer can be full of miracles, almost.

am I just fooling myself that she'll stop the pain?
living without her, i'd go insane
Midterm for sociology today. Three questions. I got the one that I study jack for cuz I didn't know it. First question: what are two current family trends? I said 1) having fewer children and 2) older children liviving at home / children move out later. Second question: how has sexual identities affected american families? name one historical and one current issue and how they affect american families. I used polygamy in Utah to address the first, and same sex marriages for the second. Third question: what are two birth controls you'd recommend and two you'd advise against a 21 year old sexually active girl? Condoms/pills and cap/wishful thinking. Yeah. That's all I know.
Went to KFC for that buy one get one free chicken deal with Jhermaine. We're getting old or something, couldn't finish one last piece of chicken. Showed up at the cvhs parking lot like 15 minutes early. To pick up the brother of course. Plus to make a magazine for coupon trade. Charles was lucky enough to catch me on the way out, so I gave him a ride home. That school already sucks, Tuesday just sucks more. David Son revved on me. Scary stuff (noot).
Did nothing when I got home. Started watching basketball at 4:30 PM all the way till 10:00 or so. My Lakers lost. It's okay though, they're gonna start the season 2-5. Caught most of Smallville (those were some nice pants), and some of Real World. Now I'm gonna start some homework... maybe.
Wai108 (1:01:23 AM): chabot sucks
Yep. So does LPC.

Well... I didn't really sleep 9 hours worth. I had a bit of trouble falling asleep, and I'm not really sure why. Yes, I was semi-tired, and yes, I did think about a few things, but it wasn't anything complicated or particular, just the usual stuff. It is a lot brighter in my room, and it took me only half an hour to get out of bed instead of the usual hour. So did my experiment work? I'm not sure, haha. I think there were some lurking variables.

can't look in her eyes... she's out of my league;
just a fool to believe i have anything she needs
Boring boring boring. Got back two english papers today. The first one was an A, and it said "promising" on it. The second was a C, and it said that the instructor didn't think the reading "appealed" to me. Well that, and that I didn't read the reading, haha. But seriously though, it wasn't appealing. What kind of weak love story was that? I could care less about a cancer patient whose having some sort of communication issue with her, and she ends up kissing some kid on a bridge under the stars (actually that last part does sound nice). I'd rather write about someone who can't hold back her passion for someone, or someone who runs away to marry a person they've met once. Now that's what I want to write about. Got back the precalc test from last monday. B'd it. I don't think I ever got two straight B's on math tests in high school. I don't care what anyone says; this is good enough for me. I'm not gonna be a park ranger.
Yeah I have that sociology midterm tomorrow, and I didn't take the extra week to study. Oh well.
I'm gonna try sleeping with the window shades open. See if a lack in melatonin production really does help me wake up earlier. I'll let you all know when I wake up.
"You suck."
I got that at least twice.

gotta use this lonely time
to change the picture in my frame of mind
Sorry folks, no fancy follow up to last night's chef d'oeuvre. Did nothing today. Went around Palomares sometime in the afternoon for a while, to drop something off at a friends house. Saw those high school kids standing around, doing nothing. Our Giants lost. Sucks big time. I think they had it yesterday. I also think they should have left Ortiz in to pitch. The guy had a 5-0 lead... obviously he was doing something right. Oh well. Professional sports is rigged anyways. I missed Alias tonight, probably because my broken tv wasn't in my room anymore. It's out on the street. Like so. Poor thing. It's ran out its usefulness, and now it's time to say goodbye. That sucker's older than I am, haha. That's been about it.
Stuff Magazine photos of MTV Real World women here. PG-13 warning (oh no!).
Tim (11:28:07 PM): dude you're a good writer man

Alright I couldn't help it. I really don't know where to start. The problem lately has been that there hasn't been a problem. Weird isn't it. In the last month and few days, nothing of signifigance has come forth. I've learned from psych class that people go through their high's and low's. I miss that. It's way too boring stuck in the middle. There's nothing to worry about. School hasn't been exciting, and there's nothing to look forward to anywhere. Things are way different than the last few years.
Is there a such thing as too complicated and over elaborate? Totally. One problem I've noticed within myself is that I over think things. Something that should be straightforward isn't. Over creatism and elaborateness takes over. Whether it be a simple problem, or something that's taken months, in the end, I'm always telling myself there could have been an easier and direct way to go. They say the mind is a powerful thing. Those who said were unfortunately correct. Sometimes, simple and clean is the way to go. [11:20-11:45 PM]
Now, the past now comes to mind. From what I can recollect, freshmen year we played basketball every other day, and football every day in between, haha (high). Sadie Hawkins. I offically "beat" out the rest of the guys for number of times in attendance, with a high score of once, haha. I don't think I had any idea what I was doing though.
Sophomore year, now that was interesting. Issues on a few different things, and the whole winter ball drama (suck). Back in those days, it wasn't execute and miss (like it is now) for me... it was no execution at all. It wouldn't turn out the same if I could revisit winter of soph year. The next step was obvious, but it didn't happen. Stupid foot that was stuck. Ecircles.com was interesting. Willy hanging out with upperclassmen instead of us. Rob and I with the charmanders. No one ended up going to wb. What a crazy sophomore year. Everyone seemed to be going through some sort of slump.
Ah the junior year. The beginning of the end of my academic career began on September 29th, 2000, at 12:35 PM or so. Bah. Then we had the whole junior prom (eh) issue, and the batting order to go along with it, haha. Oh man. And then the whole other issue early in the calander year. Haha. Thieves. Tom and his cheerleader rumors. When 2001 school year ended, I swore to myself that the next time I got all crazy over someone, it'd be genuine... not just for the sake of it. Short-term (weeks, < 1 month) and long-term (months on end, at least), is what there is. The short term ones aren't real; they come and go and pass easily. Willy going bike riding out of no where. White versus yellow started. I started actually getting good at badminton (finally). Figured out what I liked to play the most, and it was a good time. What a game, badminton is.
The senior year. The first bit of drama was probably Tom taking Rob and I along to Todai, to resolve a problem he was having there with one of the employees. Applications came and went. Heartache at Target. At least on this occasion it only cost me 2 dollars. One of the worse realizations of my life was that I could have slacked off for four years in high school (suck). All the "hard" work for nothing. Acceptance into sjsu and a free pass into ucr? I think I cried over it. Disneyland was fun, thought some things hindered on it's max fun potential.
Badminton was going on. Great year, had some great times. Sitting outside on the bench, talking about and staring at cheerleaders and bball players and track runners as they strolled on by (whoot), or being calmed down after losing a match and keeping me from putting another dent in my racket and a bruise on my knuckle, like the one I got from hitting the wall or the door on the way out. Thanks. Met some awesome people who I've befriended. Despite some early ambivalence on my part, I'm glad I stuck with what I did (yay).
Then came senior ball, code named 6102, aka sb (hmm). Haha, jeez. Let me take this opportunity to bow to everyone. Hope you all enjoyed the show. The whole trade proposal. Will and me sharing the same feeling in the end. Willy chasing me up and down Crestwood (my street), only to end up falling over his own feet. Someone dreamed that I put out a personal book of poems, and that I was giving out autographed copies. Have you people ever seen so many consecutive bagels in that amount of time? The easiest time probably was right after first semester to before the start of the badminton season. Nothing to do. School didn't count, and no obligations in the afternoon. By the time I knew it, it was all over. I didn't get to say good-bye to a lot of people.
Weee. Close-to-present to now. What can I say? Quite the ride. Usually some of it was someone else. Either it was someone spreading rumors about my orientation (jokingly, of couse), or talking some other sort of smack. Or the whole theif/gypper thing. Or someone was preaching when they shouldn't have been. Or someone doing things just to piss me off. I used to be able to blame a large portion on someone else. Not this time, I'm afraid. Getting locked in at Canyon, classic. Helping the ucb (boo) kids move in. Sometime this year I made the jump from Chester's boat to Tom's boat (foolish?). It would have been nice to have a ship next to Captain Yee's. Dang, where did all my money go? Someone once told me that I got whatever I wanted. Haha, how manifestly untrue. Why go to english 1a @ lpc two days a week to learn about satire and irony? I already know what they mean.
So what is do be done now? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. It's over. Go to school the days I have to, then come home and sit around. Play W3 with the same guys who I've never met in person. A joke once in a while about not finding a sock yet, or if I'm still fond of some older ones. Haha, what comparison. Nothing to look foward to. Nothing to get happy or sad over, anymore. Lackluster is what things are now. Simplicity. Direct. No need for fancy lights or decorations or complication. Remeber guys when I said I just laughed, and once in a long while I'd swear and curse at myself? Remember those days when I was "immune" to a lot of stuff? That doesn't work anymore. Woulda coulda shoulda what if. Garbage. One of the greatest things I've ever been told was that high school wouldn't have been the same without me. I'm touched. Also, something else that I've been told, one of the worst things ever, I'll never believe. Much ado about nothing, is what this probably is. I have to ask an opinion though. Have I really become the better person I think I've become in the last 3-4 months?
Thanks to everyone who helped in remembering all the stuff that happened all those years ago. I probably spent two hours trying to figure what happened and when. [12:00 AM - now, + 1 hour lost due to falling back]

all your feelings so deep inside
Woke up a bit earlier than usual at 11:00 AM. Went out with brother and dad to lunch, which ended up being Togos. I haven't been to Togos ever since those jovial days from summer. Exchanged a motion detector light thing from Home Depot, and did some grocery shopping at Costco and Albertson's, where they're doing remodeling. In the Albertson's parking lot some dude came up with a tray of stuffed dogs or something and offered to sell me some. Obviously, my first reaction was to turn down the offer, but as he was leaving I managed a quick gaze, and I realized that those were actually some pretty cool dogs. I'll have to go back sometime to get one, if the price is right.
Came home for a few minutes, then went out to Target and the mall with Nick, Tom, Jhermaine, and Will. Those Target mofos didn't schedule me for tomorrow. I do not understand why. Again I will say that those guys always find a way to disturb my peace. Punks. Didn't get anything from the mall, but I did go into Express Men for the first time since it opened. Nothing really else at the mall. Asked about BMX XXX, and it turns out the Xbox version is unregulated while the PS2 version is censored with audio cuts and black boxes (suckers!) Score. Stuped Giants lost.
I feel a rant coming on; I thought about one in the shower last night, but by the time I got out I was too lazy to type it up.

but to lose all my senses, that's just so typically me
Went to cvhs to pick up bro. Right after I was on my way to San Leandro Honda to pick up Chester who had to drop off his car for some sort of issue. Stupid me; I thought there was a 580 west entrance around Wendy's or something. I then went on 580 east and got off on Redwood Road to get on westbound. Then I remembered that there is in deed an entrance down there. You would think after all the times Willy yelled at me for not taking the short cut I'd figure it out by now. Bah.
I came home and sat down to Panic Room. Not a bad movie at all. Quite unique from anything before, and still suspenseful. Showed that in the end even bad people can turn out good, or something. Sat around for a while, until the Kings @ Lakers game started. What a crazy game that was. It should make for an interesting regular and post-season this year. Did anyone else see what Shaq was wearing? Lmao. Divac got regulated by someone wearing pajamas.
[19:02] (Jerry's) choice of words is always impeccable

God out of bed wayy late today. PM hours. First time that's happened in quite some time. It was soo cold. Went to cvhs, then the ortho because Kevin had an appointment. Turns out my appointment was sometime very early this month, so I've missed it for a while now, haha (nothing close to that one year record), but I rescheduled for sometime early next month.
Did nothing when I got home (as always). Got new issue of Rolling Stone and the spring schedule frmo Chabot, haha. Crap. Anyways. Giants won 16-4!!! They tore up Anaheim pitching. Good stuff. I also watched the Laker game, and I must say that the new guys they picked up this year are awesome. That Pargo kid is pretty good, Rush has some nice moves, and Murry can shoot like a mofo. I expect great things again this season for that team. Finally to end the night, a showing of Off Centre. Quite the funny stuff. And apparently I'm incompetent, or something.

but if this loves not ours to have i'll let it go with your goodbye
Went to cvhs to pick up brother, then all of the sudden Kenji gets in the car. Crazy kid. Turns out he didn't have his house keys and had to camp out at his cousins place or something for a while. I swear that guy is like a little kid sometimes.
Got back another english essay today. All I have to say is that that instructor grades way too hard. Nothing really much all day. Didn't get precalc tests back because the instructor wanted to watch the baseball game instead, haha. Class was quick (like 45 minutes long), with occasional espn.com updates, lol. Anyways I got home around 8:30 ish, just in time to watch the Giants even the series 2-2. Nice.
I was reading the paper earlier today (like I always do) and I came across an interesting article in the LIP (Life in Perspective) column in the TimeOut Section of The Valley Times. Basically the LIP column is written by a local highschool students for perspective on news, opinions, and reviews. Here is the article: Some boyfriends are the perfect fit. Comparing high school relationships to socks; quite peculiar.

my power, my pleasure, my pain
Haha like I said, class was cancelled. I came home and made myself lunch, which consisted of a tuna sandwich (score one for healthy food, finally), and some clam chowder. Yep. Went to pick up el hermano at cvhs. You do not know how janky traffic there is on Tuesdays. Aycheewahwah. Coming back on Heyer/Center, I had to sit at that light for 3 rotations. Suck. How do the people who live around there deal with people like me cursing out my window? Haha. Anyways, they finally fixed the intersection there. Or else I think that they did.
Our Giants lost. Boo. Watched Smallville and The Real World earlier. I think that is my permanent Tuesday night schedule. After this year's fall classic is over, I'll probably really start watching JAG again. Are Clark and Lana gonna finally hook it up? Dude. Did he not hear the part where she said it was best to be honest with each other? To take the risk? Then he ponders what if the risk is too great. She replies then he'll be missing out on something. Ahhhh. And after tonight, I'm now certain that Brynn is prettier than Trishelle. I think I really found myself into tv tonight. I was watching on my stomach lying in bed, listening to what the characters said, laughing and yelling with the shows. Then somewhere during my tv test I realized that I had my leg bent back towards me, pointed toward the ceilin like a chick. Definately not good. Kevin: tell me next time I do that. Anyways, one more day then it's a long weekend +1 for me.
Some letter from the folks at Who's Who Among American High School Students. Apparently the top 5% of high school students are in it each year, and 1% for consecutive years. What a crock. I think they forgot to do gpa checks on me or something. Someone's gonna be laughing over there when they hear I'm at LPC.

I'm so not sure about this one.

we'll fly away
I got an essay from a month ago back in english class. Grade of 'B+' and below the teacher comments: "keep up the good work". Noooo. That's automatic, not good work. An 'A' would be good work. There was a test in precalc today. Some stuff I didn't know how to do, so I guessed. It sounds like I guessed right, too. We'll have to see how it turns out on Wednesday. Now I have to study for my sociology midterm.

baby i hate to see a pretty girl like you going through the things that you do
Target. That place is weird. They did finally give me a lane not in in the first or fourth quartile ranges, so I guess that was pretty good. Not too bad of a day, as Target days go, I suppose. I read GQ during my break, but it wasn't really anything special; kind of boring actually. It was that or tabloids (and you know how those are), or those chick magazines. Since I've already gone thru most of those, no point. I think all the Halloween stuff is on sale now or something. Stuff that was $4.99, like bunny ears and devil horns are now like ~$4.40. Too bad there aren't any takers. After taking some physical abuse, I went home.
As I said earlier, my tv is broke. Anyways, that baseball game... it was like watching little league baseball; it was that ugly. Hopefully the Giants can win at least 2 out of 3 at home. Winning at home would be best, though. I tried to watch Alias in black and white, but that didn't work. Then we held another Warcraft Three Tourney, with a record turnout. I got through the first round, but ended up forfeiting in the second round. Again, Kenji won the tournament. Hacker. Now I have a test tomorrow and a midterm Tuesday to study for somehow.
My away while at work:
what a start to another day
off to work it, the target way
maybe it will be fun and interesting
but i think i'll just stand there daydreaming
Or something like that. That sucker took me ten minues in the morning to think up. Bah.

i should have seen the signs, paid more attention
I woke up late (see below), but it felt good because I slept like four hours the night before. Also, I woke up sore, because I slept on a very short couch and in a nonlinear fashion at Davis. Basically my upper body was on one couch, and my legs were on another couch on the right, at an angle. Then there was some space in between there. So the whole night I was basically sleeping straight on my back, or on my right side, all with my legs on that couch to the side. Quite uncomfortable.
I didn't do much for today. Played some basketball around 4:30 ish at the rec. Played a few games, nothing really competative but exercise regardless. Came home to watch the Giants beat the Angels in game one of the world series. Whoot.
I really should clean the pile by my bed. It's almost the same height.
Homecoming pics from Friday are now up.

Ah that was a great nine hour sleep. I actually woke up over an hour ago, but I decided to lay on my bed and fall in and out of REM sleep for a while, haha.
Hmm, 03 sweep at homecoming. Err. I don't know exactly what that means, but one thing is for sure. Someone(s) who had influence last year in the senior class was corrupt and/or just overall pansy. Mofo.

i wouldn't have waited so long to say
CVHS Homecoming 2003
Yess it's that time again. I made my way to Will's house to meet everyone else, and pretty soon after getting there Will, Jhermaine and I went to the BART station to pick up Carol and her roomie. Anyways the parade started late, kinda. I'm not sure if it's just different not being in the parade and just watching, but the progression seemed a lot shorter. Also, the amount of guys in the march seemed kind of lacking. The floats this year were really nice, though. None of them were like that motorcycle crap our float people came up with last time. Dang. After the march we made our way to the stadium, only to get kicked out by 1) some (insert adjective) song girls and 2) beloved (not) administrators. If you want that spot reserved why not mark it then? Oh. Anyways the assembly. Err. It wasn't the greatest that I've seen, but oh well. None of the male cheerleader skits really stood out this year, but I did see a lot of familier stuff. Can no one come up with something innovative? Take that junior skit for example. Hmm, the other team comes and steals Tommy Trojan, and the cvhs folk go around asking every other class where he is. Hmmm. That Las Positas and Chabot line? Quite a sense of deja vu (and nostalgia) if you ask me. Same thing with the rhyme scheme. And the popping up on the crates. Also, what was up with with the "coming together"ness this year. Sick. As for song girls, same ol same ol. It's always fun watching those things. You can always see minor differences between people on the floor, but I guess it is a bit more difficult with so much people. It's also funny seeing those who just can't count right and stand out a bit. Too bad for them juniors; I saw some of them cry about it. I don't know about you, but there seemed to be a lot of "technical difficulties" this year. Dang, someone beat us to sabotaging everything, haha. All in all, it was a nice day where I got to see some people who I seen in a while, and to see a few who I probably shouldn't have seen.
After the festivities most of us went back to Will's house to hang out for a while. I myself went back home to drop off Carol and her roomie, so I went hanged around online for a while before heading back out to Will's. We ate dinner at the HK BBQ place on Redwood Road. Back at Will's we watched The Sum of All Fears. Not bad of a movie. You kinda had to pay attention to follow it in the beginning, but it turned out being alright. It gets pretty intense a few times, and I got scared/worried a bit because for all we know something like that in the movie could happen in real life. Stupid T who found the nuke and sold it for 400 dollars, haha. Sometime during the movie we heard some loud bangs outside, which turned out to be the school stadium. We enjoyed the display of pyrotechnics from Will's door and window, and then we noticed all the smoke that was going through the stadium where all the kids were sitting, haha.
Kenji, Kenji, Kenji. What can I say? The man's ride bailed on him (bwahha Kenji got stood up, owned). So the kid comes to me and asks me many a time to drive him to the school dance so he could show off his C-Walk and Harlem Shake. Haha what a mofo. After making him wait some time, I took the kid to his dance. I guess it's because I'm such a nice, swell guy, and that I just want to see the kid succeed in his life affairs. Yes Kenji, you are to pick up where your predecessors left off and couldn't accomplish.
"Like you said, everyone gets their minutes."
-"Oh yeah, huh. Go get yours now. It takes longer if we do them one after another."

What a nice, long shower I just took. I got back a little bit over an hour ago. Elapsed time from entering freeway in Davis to exiting in Castro Valley: one hour. Nice, if I say so myself. Now it is time to go to comecoming at the little school.

just another day and then i'll hold you tight
This is jizzle posting from UCD, the land of cows, llamas, and general stinkiness. Jhermaine and I left CV around 3:30 PM yesterday, heading north on 680. In exactly one hour we made it to the 80 E junction, but traffic held us there for a good 10 minutes, then traffic on the actual freeway held us for another 10. We made it to Davis at about 5:00 PM, meeting Will on one of the street corners. After meeting Willy, we toured much of the campus, including the gym, which is pretty nice. Then we walked to Akemi's dorm, which turned out to be an all girls building, heh. We then walked over to see Marc and EZ, so we talked to them for a while before heading out to dinner. Dinner turned out to be a Japanese restaurant called Fuji (I think). Not bad of a place. Wiz and I split a giant boat, and I ended getting some extra pieces of sushi, too. We then "toured" the other side of campus before dropping Akemi off. Will ^2 and Jhermaine and I played some billiards, with team LPC coming out on top with a 3-2 score. After some hanging around and meeting some roomates, I'm sitting here burning movies like a mofo. It's not bad out here, except there's a bit of a stench (even more so in Willy's room), and the people here seem alright. Now it's almost time to let Jhermaine take over the sytem to regulate these UCD CS players.

more than just physical
deeper than spiritual
Haha woke up kinda late, like around 12:15 PM or so. Went to cvhs to pick up brother, then came back. I swear the corner of Heyer and Center is janky to the extreme. Tell me please the purpose of having that layer of a bump there. I do not understand. Also it's getting friggin' cold like a mofo. That is not so good.
So today was my english midterm. Basically we had to argue how effective or ineffective a piece we read was in convincing its target audience. It was some speech given by Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain). Not bad of a speech if I say so myself. Anyways we filled up blue books (single sided, double spaced, cuz our teacher is whack like that), with the target length being 600 words. Oh well. Oh oh then at Costco, like it was a special day there or something. All the food sampling stations there were like having good food or something. I think Jhermaine and I stopped by every stand. All food days should be like todays! Then in psych we got our tests back. 13 F's, 13 D's, 6 C's or B's, y solo una A. Janky. I D'd her, haha. Instructor then decided to add another test to the schedule like a month from now, and throw out the lower score. What a nice instructor. Too bad most (like almost all) other instructors wont be like this. Boo. Then in precalc we went over the other trig functions (the non sin and cos curves). I swear I shoulda known half this stuff in high school. Who knew finding out where the graph ends was simply adding/subtracting the phase shift from the period! Yikes. Test on Monday though, so I'll have to study for that or something.
Dude Ken and I both forgot about MTV cribs. They were featuring the PLAYBOY mansion. We only saw like the last 10 minutes of the show, but dangg. Omg that place is awesome. It's like a musuem/zoo/party house. A mattress floor? Ingenious if I say so myself. A goal in life for me now is to one day visit that place.
Now I have to pack for my Davis adventure.

like a distant start i'm wishing on tonight
Happy Birthday
I had some spare time earlier, so I sat down (ok actually layed down) and started and finished Animal Farm. I guess it wasn't bad or anything. Nice flowy read if I say so myself. If memory serves me correct this was the first book I read for myself since A Walk To Remember. Next up: The Rescue, well eventually.
Like, omg. Television these days. Those Smallville people! They finally hook Clark and Lana up after he gets possessed, and he treats her like dirt! And that ending part when she's on the horse. Did you all catch the "You can't have it both ways. Either it was you, or it wasn't." part? Ahhhhhh. Then Real World was double ahhhh. OMG. That was greaaat. Steve called Brynn a whole lot of stuff, and he gets pansy about it when she pushes him. That fork thing was probably all impulse though. I think he was totally overreacting or something. That guy's a "pimp" (as Ken says), and I guess he's just trying to work his game or something. Dude, she's been pissed all this time, being jealous of Trishelle and Steve. Omg hahahaha. It got to the point where I was pounding my head against my bed cuz I was so into it. Like that guy said though, "It's not elementary school anymore." Owned. Too bad.
Oh yes, happy birthday to Nick. Finally he is legally allowed to wed his wife.
"I have to read six more pages."
-"That's good. Keep up with your schoolwork."
"It's not for school."
-"Eh, I don't get it... whatever."
Hahaha, my dad and I.

everything changes but beauty remains
I faintly remember having two dreams. I remember checking the clock and it reading 7:27 AM. As usual I told myself to remember the details, but that didn't work, haha. I've been waking up pretty late recently. Usually I'd wake up sometime before or around 11:00 AM, but recently I've been waking up around noon. I don't know why; I'm not going to sleep later than usual or anything. Maybe something in my subconscience is bothering me or something, or I'm just getting old.
Class was class, as usual. We wrote a practice essay for our midterm on Wednesday, and I think again I'll have to bust out my shovel. We had a test in psych, and I think I got (insert noun) slapped by it. I think I studied too much limbic and not enough brain or something. Oh well. Better luck next time. Then in precalc we went over sin and cos curve. I think right about now, stuff is going to be more difficult. While in the library I started printing out (why not use LPC's paper?) all the good stuff from assist.org. Stupid UCB is only good for seven pieces of paper, in two majors. How useless. I'll get the rest of the schools at some other time, heh.
Go Giants! My prediction is Giants over Angels in 7. I'm also in yahoo fantasy basketball again this year. Good luck to all league participants. Btw when are we going to start the arf fantasy basketball league?
Thanks to everyone who helped explain to me why 11pi/3 is in the fourth quadrant. I understand now, and I really appreciate everyone's help. Someone even drew me a picture; how nice. =)

you'd be like heaven to touch
Will came by and picked me up to head out to some places. First we stopped by Target, and there I picked up my paycheck, along with some more goldfish. Will got himself a laundry bag or something. Everything was cool, except girl behind the counter was kinda mean. =/ We then went to Fry's, and Will got some stuff that he needed; I picked up magazine that said UC Berkeley on it, but it turns out it was just the catalog for the extensions program, so I tossed it.
Back in CV, we went to Golfland to meet up with some people, and to check out the new fad game, Initial D. Walking into the room I see Willy, and others who turn out to be Hank (Mac), Gary, and Balls (never got his real name). Basically, Initial D is a racing game where you first buy a car, then pay to race it. You can either race it against the clock in a time trial-type race, or in "story" mode where you race each course four times against increasingly skilled drivers. You pay for each individual car that you "own", but everytime you win races and set records, you get point bonuses that accumulate to win you "mods" for your car which makes it look better and drive faster. We spent a good four hours or so playing that game, and the other guys dropped a good chunk of change, too. I myself spent two dollars, and an a disgrunted owner of a Toyota MRS-S. I'm forgetting that sucker in exchange for what's probably going to be a Honda S2K. Sometime during that period Will and I went to Wendy's for lunch, and I spent all but one of my coupons, whoo.
Not much after getting home. Watched the Giants beat the Cards. Then watched Alias; I'm going to have to watch next week's episode.
I'm still pretty sore from yesterday's basketball-ing.
Boo. =(

i used see you in my dreams
hoping one day they'd come true
Alright let's see what happened today. I remember watching Stanford (go Cardinal) women's volleyball, and there was this girl that was 6' 5" or something. Holy cow! Yikes! Arf. Then I left the house with the rest of the family to first go to the BMW to check out the Mini Coop, just for the heck of it. Suffice to say that that car wouldn't be a good fit for our faimly. They didn't have any M3s on the lot. =\ We then went to Costco (haha I'm like a regular there now or something) to buy some stuff. After getting home, I changed and headed out to the courts for some basketball. Will ^2, Chester, Gerald, Jhermaine, Kevin, and I were there. We shot around, and played a little 3 on 4 for a while before some other guys came and asked us to play. We all played a good two games, with eveyone having their moments, but in the end we came up short, both times. Considering we haven't played full court games since beginning of August (read: the (great) summer of 02, heh), it wasn't bad. I myself had my normal 4 points or so and a few assists in each game, and I think Will was our high point man both games. I haven't done much since getting home, just dinner and watching some movies on tv. Now for some W3!
I think I've made plans to visit Davis this week.
You know I was watching tv and I thought to myself that it'd be pretty neat to grow up as an adolescent/teenager in the 40s/50s. As I've said before, from the movies and tv and studying I've done about that time, it seemed pretty awesome, in it's own little way.

how could it be that you ruined my everything?
Woke up semi later than usual, a bit past 12:00 PM, haha. Made myself some lunch, and caught up with 7th Heaven from Monday on tape. Picked up Kevin, came home and played (and won) some W3 games. Later in the evening I wanted to go out for a run, but Kevin wanted to work on his tennis game so we did that instead. After driving around we finally ended up at the rec, where Tom met up with us. As I said below, tennis is not my sport. We shot some hoops, hit some balls, and that was that. Played some more W3 and sat around. I made my way to assist.org (the website for community college losers like me), and I think I pretty much know which classes I have to take. Cool beans because all of the majors that I'm considering require the same classes! So far it looks like I have to take math 1 & 2, chemistry 1a& b, chemistry 12a & b, physics 4 a & b & c, biology 1, zoology 1, botany 1, and math 44 (the infamous subject of statistics, yay). Right now I'm trying to decide between biotechnology, biological science, cell biology, or microbiology. I'm also contemplating the idea of trying to enter UCD as a sophomore under the animal science or animal genetics major. Same classes required, maybe work on the next Dolly. I'd much rather work on humans more than animals though. Rather work on a super human than a super sheep. Time to sleep now.
Good luck to all the kids who are taking the SAT in 6 hours. Poor suckers.
"Well if you come now, you can walk around and try to pimp."
-"Key word is try."
"But why do you want to become a pet doctor?
"With you living at home. Does that mean you're not going to have sex for another 2 years? Hahahahaha"
-"Yeah, it basically does."
"Sorry bud."

they drive my crazy
Got my romance novel analysis back in sociology, finally. Got an A on it, yay. I think I'm gonna go celebrate tomorrow or something. I just don't know how. Came home then played some W3 games. For some reason I do not understand why I can't win in the daytime. Pretty whack stuff. The Giants won game two of the NLCS, and Off Centre was on. Played some more W3 games. That's about it.
Some cars doing some pretty nice power slides and such with some cool background track. Thanks to young Kenji for this one.

i want to stop and thank you baby
Haha I set the alarm to wake me up at 10:00 AM this morning, that that it did. I woke up, but I didn't get out of bed till 11:00, haha. I even tried to laying in me bed without the blanket covering me, thinking that the cold would get me out of bed. Needless to say it did not work. I knew I had to read and then write an essay, but I decided to skip the reading part altogether and go straight to writing. So write I did. All the way till 1:50 (except for a 25 minute break to pick brother up from school), when Jhermaine came over and it was time to go to class to turn it in. I tell you man, english. The instructor talked about complex sentences and clauses and modifiers and stuff like that. I knew a little bit from figuring stuff out along the way, but basically it wasn't anything that was really gone over in high school. I don't know about apse or brit lit, (I had already lost the nerd title), but from what I took in high school, efforts are more emphasized toward literature and analysis and evaluation and less toward overall writing and mechanics. Oh well. In psych we learned that memories are weird. In precalc we started all the trig stuff. Now I'm starting to feel screwed. There's no way in heck I'm gonna bother remembering all the trig equations. I will find a way around it. Time to actually "do" the hw in that class now. Bah. Since I'm such a nice and swell guy, I offered Doug a rematch (2 day waiting period waived) because of his forfeit yestreday. I lost (as usual), haha.

so many times in my life they come and go and it cuts like a knife
New Target
After picking up Kevin from school, I returned home to play some W3. Around 6:30 PM or so Nick, Kevin, and I went out to Hayward to the new Target store down there. I don't think I've ever seen so much red and khaki in one store, nor people standing around doing nothing for that matter. Everyone there is a noob. Coupons weren't ringing, barcodes weren't being scanned, attitudes prevailed. We walked around, first getting some sodas for two cents. More walking around, through automotive where Nick and I both got some plug splitter type thing, then through dvd's, and we both got B&B. I don't know about you, but that extra musical scene better be worth it or I'm going to be very upset. Ah yes we walked toward the front lanes, deciding on some stuff, and which lane to go to to check out. Turns out there was this girl working who looked to be cute, and reminded Nick of Jennifer Love Hewitt. Back at the front of the store again standing around I saw Flora come in. A little more walking around, and finally we check out (no not that same girl). Turns out the cashier forgot to give us our extra 10 percent off. We go to guest service to get our problem fixed; turns out a million trillion zillion people are getting Target Visas. Gosh. We spent probably 40 minutes trying to get a few dollars back. All in all it wasn't the greatest Target experience. While we're walking out the door the alarm goes off, and for once the guy there does his job and checks my stuff. Turns out the lady earlier didn't give me back my receipt. So I walk back to guest service, wait for 5 minutes and then get my receipt. By now it's 8:30. Jeegolly. Target made me miss JAG and Gilmore Girls. Boo. During the ride home Nick and Kevin were being funny toward each other. I came home and played a W3 ladder match, which I won via forfeit, haha.

Class got cancelled today. YAY! Some lady came by and put up a piece of paper on the window 5 minutes after class was supposed to start, and before even bothering to read it half the class just left. Me, being fresh out of high school read the paper before leaving. Cool beans. I think I have to write an essay due tomorrow, but I guess I'll start that tonight (oh say 12:00 AM or so). Till then, W3!

time is precious and it's slipping away
Another day at school. Turns out we're gonna have a sub in english class for two weeks or something. Yay for that. During precalc we heard that the Giants beat the Braves in the nlds, so gg with that. Came home, watched the Road Rules season finale. That's about it. Target on Whipple Road will be giving 10 percent off everything from the hours of 6:00 - 9:00 PM tomorrow.
"Good boy."
"Don't go chasing deer."
Update mid morning (AM) hour: I just lost another ladder match, this time to Mac. Pretty soon I'm gonna fall to the ranks of the inactive folk and I'm not even inactive.

On the way to the bathrrom to shower, I looked out my window, and I saw a deer taking a stroll in our lawn. How nice. What a fella, just standing there. Everything was fine and dandy till the fool had to start eating the plants; then it had to go. I went into the bathroom, and from the window there I see another deer, standing there as well. I was gonna take a picture of it, becuse I failed to get one of the first deer, but this second one ran off. Too bad.

when you walk away you don't hear me say please, oh baby... don't go
Ahh. Sunday = work for me. That's what I did. I woke up late, ~ 9:45 AM for a 10:30 start (yeahyeah, I'm slow), and I didn't eat breakfast. I arrived late to work at 10:45 (yep, 15 minutes late getting up then I'm 15 minutes late to everything). Then they tell me I'm to do carts till 2:00 PM. So carts I did. I tell you, it's dangerous out there. People were cutting me off to get into parking spots, honking at me to move out the way, and giving me unpleasant hand gestures. It was rather warm out, but I guess it's a nice 5 minute break for every 15 minutes of work. Apparently all the Halloween accessories (like bunny ears) are out near the front lanes, and they're cheap too! It's getting near that time to decide what to dress up as (*hint hint*). I was insanely hungry by break time, so I went for some goldfish that were on sale. They were the bigger sized cartons, too. I cashiered the last hour or so, on the express lane. Not without consequence though; the lane stabbed me. Oh well. Then a bunch of us kids (mostly cvhs related) went into the AP (assets protection folks, not that cvhs crap), and they gave us a little rundown of what they do and what we cashiers can do to help. Nice little break in working, and knowing what they can do. The guy kept offering us candy, haha. Then I went home.
Man. The A's are out. Those mofos. What's with the closer giving up 3 runs in top of 9th. Weaksauce. He's not paid to do that.
Another funny American Idol-type tryout clip.
Ah I lost my match to Johnny (sb-25). I'm now number 5 on the W3 ladder. Right after the match, around 10:30ish or so, Jhermaine released the world premier of his flash. It was pretty darn amusing, in a not-really-funny type of way. It did get me laughing though. Dang. How pathetic.
"You know you love me."
"Oh God."
The two weren't related.

YAY I finally got my sn back. Now it's time to sleep. Eh, maybe one more W3 game first.

if i could reach the stars, i'd give them all to you
Weak attbi being down for ~2 hours. Anyways. Omg. Nick, Kevin, Jhermaine, Gerald, and I just sat thru Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I do not undertand how kids could sit the whole 2.5 hours to watch that. I mean, sure it was cool with the wizardly and magical stuff, but bleh, it seemed to drag. Maybe it was cuz we started the movie so late in the evening (Jhermaine took 40 minutes to beat the computer in a 1vs1 W3 game). Oh well. Here's a doornob that Will got, compliments of UCD. OMG it is soo off the heezy. This, along with a few more other reasons is pushing me to make a trip out to Davis.
Let's see what I did earlier today. I sat on my dead rear and watched baseball. A whole lot's of it. Sometime during the evening I helped change the oil in my car. Then I watched more baseball. The Yankees are out, yay. Let's go Oakland let's go! I'm soo full right now; I think I'll sleep at 3:00.
"I got a lot of things to do."
Puahahahaa lmao.

Haha, I just made it in and out of the bathroom in < 30 minutes. Whoot. The only thing is I went so quickly becuase I thought we were gonna get in a game of W3; I am mistaken.
Dude (and Dudets)... I just heard some more college stories in the making. Let me again take this opportunity to bow down to everyone, and to emphasise again how much of an idiot/moron I am. I will be going up to Davis for the weekend sometime pretty soon, I hope.
"You now me, I'm all gogogo!"
-"Eh, I thought you were more hesitate, hesitate... go."
Oh? Pity.

BAH
UC Davis admission stats from the previous year (class of 2002):
Middle 50% of First-Year Students:
SAT I Verbal: 500-620
SAT I Math: 560-660
(First clue that it's not all SAT scores btw)
Percent applicants admitted: 63%
I'm such a moron/idiot/fool/overall-just-stupid. First off for being so lazy in hs, second of all for being greedy with the major. Friggin' a I'm stupid.

if i could turn back the hands of time
Yay both the A's and Angels won today. They're both gonna finish their series in game 4 folks! I sat some type of chair for most of the day watching both games, only leaving for bathroom trips, food ventures, and to pick up my brother from school (which I was 30 minutes late lol). Oh well. Great games played. We got in a few games of W3 tonight, winning most. Some ladder matches were also played tonight; results included pansy (me) losing to Luhnmein (Kevin, drats), Lanjai (Ken) losing to wtghaha (Phil), and sb-25 (Johnny) losing to Udog (Doug). Oh well. There are four games on tomorrow! Oh boy oh boy! I'm gonna have a sore butt or something. Four games to watch!

So I get two cell phone calls this morning... I was so excited. Turns out to be the same person calling the wrong number twice. Boo. And to get my hopes up...
I seriously have nothing to do on Fridays. Oh well time to figure out something for food and get ready for the A's game.

but i know that it's useless i'm just hallucinating
Yeahh. A total amount of squat ^2 is what I do on a daily basis. I went to class and left not feeling so hot (see post below), went home for 5 minutes to use the bathroom, then headed out to CVHS to pick up el hermano. Came home, played some W3 and watched some playoff action. Stupid Giants lost bigtime. Ouch. I got the California General Election booklet which covers all the propositions and candidates and all that good stuff; perhaps I will take a look at it sometime. Watched Off Centre at 9:30 PM, and boy that show is a knee slapper. Chou my friends, is the man. I guess LPC likes high schoolers more than it's own students or something; I never got a nice pen or some useful folders, but just a cheap regular yellow #2 pencil that I wasn't even supposed to take from asessment test day.
"She is so evil, but so hot!"
I was doing some hard drive cleaning, and I came up this poem that I wrote sometime senior year in MCL class. My friends and I would compete with each other seeing who would get stuff up on the back wall, haha. This was one of my many pieces to be given such acknowledgement. Yay. (Note: this has been slightly edited from the original version.)

Abortion
Ugh. We talked about it in class today. Not really the social issues/concerns toward the process/procedure, but rather the technology/methods used. Didn't really matter tho, I still felt my stomach churning nonetheless. Whenever this is talked about I always end up not feeling well. I walked out of class sick to my stomach and without the urge to eat anymore. Sick. And then there's all these other students in class that sound like they've become "experts" on the topic. Eww. Most everyone probably knows where I personally stand on the issue, so I wont divulge into it right now. I'm never able to stomach this issue, but hey, I haven't had to deal with it yet. Hopefully I won't ever have to. Amen.

a fine line between fate and destiny
Boo, missed out on the timing. Yesterday I had to give up watching the A's game to go to school. Jhermaine and I now know why our english teacher is pretty whack, but she still should be at home mourning instead of teaching a class. While at the Costco parking lot, I go in to park but some old man's getting a cart from the curb so I stop halfway into the stall, then he turns around and almost gets a heart attack on me because he didn't hear or see the car or something. Then he starts talking smack while I'm still in the car parking, and he walks off with his wife in disguist. As I get out of the car I hear him call me a "jackass" haha. Old people. What can you say? We went to Wendy's for some food, and we got more free stuff haha. That stupid guy behind the counter gave me diet coke! Though I need to get in shape, I do not need a diet. Psych was cool; we had a fatty discussion on controlling ourselves emotionally/phyiscally/mentally, all in a holistic sense. Then in precalc we went over some logarithm stuff and we got out at 8:20 PM, haha. I got home, watched the Yankees lose to the Angels (whoo), and played muchos partidos de W3. My weekend has basically begun; someone remind me to pick my brother up after school.

I was looking up some Hawthorne type words for english homework, and one of the required words was necromancers.
Dictionary definition: conjuration of the spirits of the dead for purposes of magically revealing the future or influencing the course of events
To the rest of us: an undead second tier unit summoned via temple of the damned in Warcraft 3

i'd rather have the one who holds my heart
Class today was spent finishing up the lecture on marriage and starting a new one on birth control. Pretty useless stuff to me right now (wait...), but I guess it's nice to know what works and what each thing is. Yeahh, then I came home and played some W3, and watched the A's pitching lose another game, dangit. I finally saw last weeks episode of 7th Heaven, but not this weeks because it didn't record or something, gah. At night I switched between JAG and Gilmore Girls, and might I say there was a pretty good argument scene near the end of the latter. Then came Smallville, with some girl in that show. Oh and out of no where my blowdryer magically appeared back in my drawer!
Now all I need now is my pw for my sn.

When I'm bogged down with work to do, I sleep at an earlier time than when I am free and have no obligations for the evening. Quite the paradox. Also, I was just in the shower gargling water (cuz it's fun) and I choked. =/ And where the heck did my blow dryer go?
I'd like to wish a get well soon to both Garrett and Louisa who both very recently underwent surgery. Hope to see you both up and back in action asap!
