Okay let us blog.

So today in speech class a girl talked about her experiences with dropping candE. She said two days after she took it she went running and passed out and woke up with an IV tube. The point of this? She's cool being able to talk about her mistakes and what she's took from the experience. The more general point of all this? I respect those who are willing to try new things and expand their horizons. I never appreciated those who would use excuses like "it's illegal" and "it's bad for you." Well you know what? I bet the way you drive isn't totally legal either. The fact you're reading this site or sleeping five hours a night is bad for you. So please, none of that, and think of a better excuse. This doesn't just apply to trying questionable things, but things you are willing to talk about too. Too often I've heard/seen people avoid certain topics and issues because it "bothers" them. Jeezus we're not in high school anymore. Even during our older years of high school, I was bothered by the fact that I couldnt' freely talk about what was on my mind because some would find it distasteful. Let me finish this garbage up. Calm down, relax, and just have a good time.

I amazingly am not always just good for a laugh and comedy. Oh wait... nevermind. Just kidding. Get back to studying.

Hi dingdongs. It's time for a post.

The past 2-3 weeks have been a combination of every school's spring break. It's still pretty gay how they do things this way. They just don't want a whole bunch of young people out of school at the same time. God knows there will be a massive beer shortage.

So let me think what's been going on. I think two weeks ago we played poker at Chester's house till 7:00 in the morning. It was pretty crazy.

Wednesday was two dollar A's tickets so Steve and I went to the game. First time I've seen Zito pitch. Too bad they lost.

Over the weekend a bunch of us ate dinner at the Rainforest Cafe to celebrate Tom and Steph's birthdays. Food was decent, and overall we all had great times. Afterwards we went to Ghirardelli Square and lingered a bit. Eventually some of us went back to Nick's house where we played that's right, poker. Apparently it was a pretty crazy/retarded few days for a couple of people, which in tandem combined for 1000 miles of driving. To each his own, I suppose.

When everyone was back in CV we actually played some basketball at the rec. I think we went out three times during a single week. For the most part we pretty much aren't that great anymore, but good exercise, I suppose.

Friday was Stephen's 21st birthday so to celebrate he invited some people over to party. Couple beers, a few shots, some more drinks and it was a good night. Saw a few people who I haven't seen in over a year. Now I have someone to buy me alcohol (I hope), haha.

I finally got my other fish tank up and running. Nice one.

The William Hung cd is an insult to all Chinamen. It also offends guys, musicians, celebrities, the creative class, and even those UCB schoolmates of his.

I went out to Mac's house for game one of the Sharks/Blues series. I showed up near the end of the first period, and Balls and Ever were already there. Grabbed a beer and watched an exciting overtime victory. After the game we went to Denny's for a late night snack. A pretty decent looking girl with tig ol bitties walked by. On her flyby coming back I kinda just started laughing (HP said I was giggly). It was because everyone at the table was keeping a straight face to take a look, and I just saw it as being funny, so I couldn't control myself. Usually I'm really good at that.

Recently I've saw Mona Lisa Smile and Cheaper By The Dozen. The latter was really fun and enjoyable, with good laughs and easy flowing watching. Of course I couldn't get enough Hilary Duff and Piper Perabo. There are quite a few unfair things in life... she is one of them. As for the first movie, it was okay. I mean casting was cool (Julia Roberts, Kirsten Dunst, Julia Stiles), and the story was understandable, but I really didn't appreciate how the characters in the movies tried to shove some of those morals down our throats. I know it's all in context, but I'm just kind of upset people were really like that at one point in our history.

Now for some semi serious points. Sort of related to what I just said, I can't stand people who try to shove morals down your throat. I don't appreciate closed minded people who aren't willing to try out or at least listen to stories of things they've never seen or experienced before.

Also, I have heard way too many ridiculous things said and done in my lifetime. Surprisingly, it's not all my own comments I'm laughing at.
