got me looking so crazy right now
First time working in like, two weeks, haha. Busy day. Too many guests being retarded. Some "family" tried to rob Target of like $350 worth of garbage (like clearanced clothing, wth). They put stuff on some bad plastic then hit it somewhere when I asked for it back to call authorization. I guess they were hoping we'd say whatever and just let them walk out with the stuff. Not. Then they stuck me in camera and sound for a lunch, and after about 50 minutes, they told me the regular guy was off. Lame.
Went to Nick's to play some games. After a little bit we met up with the guys that went to GA for dinner at Applebee's. Not bad of a place, and I think what I had was a great bargain (riblets and chicken fingers). Came home, but not before getting bs'ed around for a while. Played some W3, and we finally got the clan up and running thanks to the new patch.

i just can't let you beat me once again
Ate lunch at In & Out Friday with some of the guys. Came home and hung around, then headed to the courts. Gerald, Will, and I played Rob, Jhermaine, and Kevin. We took the first two games, they took the following two. As usual, it came down to the deciding game of the series. After some battling, our team came out on top. I liked the playage cuz I didn't just stand on the perimeter and knock shots down like I've been doing lately. It's good to know I still have the five foot one handed runner.
Yesterday stayed home and lounged around. Watched the Giants beat the A's in extra innings. Hanged two of 4 posters up. Just got too lazy to hang the rest I guess, haha. It's okay cuz the other two I have to hang up aren't really worth looking at, they just "complete" the scene. Washed the car (first time since ~spring break), and tripped twice. Oh well, all is good.
What do you do if you can't score information from someone? Ask someone else!
[19:06] pansy: do you think

I was washing my car earlier and I tripped twice. First it was the hose, then second, the towel around my neck. If you know me or anything in regards to the locale of my house, you know why I tripped.

is this moment really mine?
Woke up at 5:00 AM because it eventually got chilly from sleeping blanketless and shortsless... oh. The total lack of climate controlled classes are insane. Get some funding already. Oh wait, we spent the surplus buying energy last winter. It's great how our teacher randomly just starts bagging on everyone and everything associated with our government and society. I forgot what he was talking about but he said called something "bullshit." Now you don't exactly get this kind of intensity at the high school. Those kids.
After class some of us ate lunch at the Southland food court. We must be getting pretty damn old or something because nobody was able to finish off their meals. Man. Came home, and sat around. Watched the first twelve rounds or so of the NBA draft. First three picks were already in the bag. Warriors got the Frenchman. Lakers got some pretty decent people. Hopefully those two teams do well next season (by that I mean Warriors into playoffs and Lakers winning it all).
Went for a swim. First time this season. Felt very refreshing. Willy dunked me when I wasn't looking. Anyways, my wandering eyes got me in trouble. I paid for my incompetence with some bruises. Oh well though, it was my bad. Different subject: good thing I didn't get ahead of myself. If I were to have gotten greedy and got full of sweets then I probably wouldn't be able to look out my eye for two weeks. You all know sad I'd be.
Some of us went to Marie Callender's for dinner. Well, I just had onion rings and some raspberry lemonade. The whole lot of us headed over to Jhermaine's afterwards to watch Bad Boys, to get us prepped for the sequal three weeks from now. We had some pretty decent pie, too. Oh and sorry pro for today's delay.
I have all the posters now that I want. Will be up on the wall asap!
All of you stingy/greedy/selfish people can refer yourself to the quote box. Thanks.

her pretty face she hid from the world
It is so freaking hot six hours ago, now, and six hours from now.
Class same o' same o'. Watched a video that like most educational ones, were boring. Walked around Southland for a bit afterwards. Sat around at home afterwards, not doing much of anything. Started shooting hoops at 5:00, an dit was insanely hot. We played five games, and by the end of it all we were pretty much dead tired. After a quick twelve minute shower (yep, 12) and a super quick snack, I headed out to rehearsals, where I showed up twenty minutes late anyways. The bass section is a one man show, and some kid said Tom and I were really good. HAHAHAHAA. Me? Nah. Well, only when I really want to be. Afterwards some of us went down to Union City and tried out some Thai/Malaysian food. Not bad. Of course the best part of it all was the great car ride and the entertainment provided by yours truly. Hung out a bit at Tom's afterwards, and that was that.
Last shipment of posters came, but I didn't get the one I wanted! After some bartering I was able to secure what I'm looking for.
So heat is usually a great thing, but it's just not working for me this time around.
DasButh228 (4:43:51 PM): im more of a failure than you
StrikeoutK (8:00:54 PM): i have to use something extra sticky now

it was you who put the clouds around me
Good thing I wore a hat to cover up my scrubby hair. I fell asleep in class and made sure to hide behind it. I say this because later on in class the teacher caught someone else sleeping and yelled at him. Not cool.
After class Jhermaine, Will ^2, and I went to Costco. Jhermaine and I needed to print some old digital prints and everybody needed some food. Stopped by Best Buy and I picked up DOAX. Woohoo! That game is actually pretty cool. Good hours will be spent gawking at the screen. Please no comments from the peanut gallery.
My WB street team t-shirt arrived yesterday. Finally got all the posters that I wanted up up on the wall. Now I'm just waiting for my last shipment, and my wall should be complete... for a while.
My window view at 5:00 AM.
[02:16] i would cast her in a pantyhose commercial
[02:55] i can honestly say i have not been awake throughout an entire lecture this last quarter
[03:01] i turned in those two finals early, and left them 90% blank

[03:01] cuz it was so hopeless

you came into my life, straight from above
First test of macroeconomics yesterday. 40 questions plus 4 bonus for 2 extra credit points in 50 minutes. I got the first question wrong, and I started to worry. Did the best I could, and managed to finish with plenty of time left. Our teacher grades the test right after the testing session and tells us to return in half an hour. So most of the class is waiting somewhere outside for 40+ minutes. Get the test back, and did well. I'm right where I have to be. I cheated myself, though; I could have had at least three more points if I wasn't so stupid. Jhermaine the sellout (haha, just kidding) decides to ditch me after class, so I make the long drive home all by myself.
I get home, and I notice a poster tube outside my front door. Check the label, and it's my two Smallville posters! Yay. Tom, Willy, and I headed out to the Tri-Valley area in the afternoon. First stopped by Walmart to get some poster scrolls for the aforementioned posters. Stopped by Best Buy so Willy could check out some speakers he wanted to buy. They finally have doax in stock, so if I can find my raincheck I'll be picking up a copy sometime. Went to Target to to get some printer ink they didn't have, and to turn in new availability.
Stopped by Chester's house to check up on the post-production work of our project. Watched the A's game (they eventually won) and Stanford in the cws championship. Cardinal got owned. Boo. All you haters out there. =\ Left and went to a Jenny Lin rehersal. Stayed for one half, and left.
Started decorating the interior of my room again. First I cleaned up a pile of junk, then began working on the walls. I've put up new stuff, and took down some old stuff (okay I put up the A&F poster and took down the G35). Still have a couple to put up, with the Smallville set completing the wall.
[04:14] everROARS: pansy dude, you're blind
[04:20] hopefully you'll have a chick by then
[04:20] pansy: for you to hit on?
[04:20] haha

instead of listening to your heart you do just what you're told
Past few days. Thursday played ball, but only a few of us went cuz I guess some people missed the topic. All good though, because there were other people to play and we ran them over. Didn't do much Friday afternoon. Night time was the standard movie/hang out night at Will's. Played a few games, and started Malibu's Most Wanted pretty late and partway through it I had to leave to do something. Stayed up till like 4:00 in the morning working.
Saturday after lunch some of us got together to go around town. Down 580 east, and up, down, in and around CV. Went to a few places, including a stop to get Gerald some bread cuz he was super hungry or something. We stopped by a bridal shop. There was some woman sitting on the curb looking super sad, and we began conjecturing as to why. Ideas ranged from 1) she wanted to get married but the guy said no, 2) she was violated, 3) the most reasonable, she got into an argument with the guy and 3a) he tossed her out of the car 3b) she got out of the car. Oh well. Few more trips across town and our workday was done. A visit to the semi finished houses atop Palomares highlighted our session, with massive rock tossing down the hillside, fulcrum testing/experimenting that produced one injury, boulder taking, and a spear/javelin hurling, olympic style.
Those of us who didn't go to the floricultural display went to Chester's house for a barbecue. Now if you've been to one of these events you know how much it owns. A few of us feasted for quite a few hours, and had a great time, even though I spilled honey and hot sauce all over the place. Got home around 3:00
Today I spent with some good time in front of the tv. Woke up, and watched game two of the college world series. Stanford was up 3-1 over Rice when I tuned in, and eventually broke things open thanks to a savage 7th inning and went up 8-1 and went on to tie the series 1-1. Too bad the game's not local or I'd get tickets. Go Cardinal. After that game I tuned into the Giants @ A's game, to watch a game that was pretty crazy in the beginning but kinda tailed off. A's ended up winning the series 2-1.
At 4:44 today I checked my holdings at the library and realized that Dead Poet's Society was due today, with no more renewals. Zoomed zoomed to the library because they closed at 5:00 today, and made it.
This timeline of crap for other people just seems to continue. I asked fling what he thought of some excuses that women give us guys and this is what he had to say:
felixinchicago (9:58:54 PM): bs
Let's try to remember that.
Earlier this past week:
"Bro's before hoes."
Definitely hard at times, and every one of us has been guilty of offending the rule (and will probably continue be). Let's all just treat each other semi nicely.
StrikeoutK (10:29:52 PM): some chicks just applied the other day
StrikeoutK (10:29:53 PM): OH
ghttoboo72 (10:29:55 PM): oh
ghttoboo72 (10:29:56 PM): wow
ghttoboo72 (10:29:58 PM): even more?
StrikeoutK (10:30:00 PM): yeah
StrikeoutK (10:30:04 PM): for a total of 3.5
[00:08] woohoo: if u do it with ur fingers, its a turkey
[00:13] its like vacation bible school, for teens
[13:10] i don't need to be careful about dropping the soap yet
(1:27:32 AM): with all bad haha
(1:27:34 AM): rotten?
(1:27:42 AM): used and abused?
(1:27:45 AM): need something fresh?
(1:34:13 AM): she is all bad, she's ugly, glad you've come to your senses

Why someone would go to junior college is still beyond me. We need to stop being so greedy and so "i have to go to *you know where* " and just live with whatever is handed to you. Junior college: the second worst decision of my life. The same work, material, homework, content, for less worth.
It would be greatly appreciated if anyone can find me a girl with a boyfriend who I can try to steal away. I seem to not do so well with my academics when there are no worries. Thanks.

What Dreams Are Made Of
-"The Lizzie McGuire Movie"
have you ever seen such a beautiful night?
i could almost kiss the stars for shining so bright
when i see you smiling i go, oh, oh, oh
i would never want to miss this
in my heart i know what this is
this is what dreams are made of
this is what dreams are made of
i've got somewhere i belong
i've got somebody to love
this is what dreams are made of
have you ever wondered what life was about?
you could search the world and never figure it out
you don't have to sail the oceans, no, no, no
happiness is no mystery, it's here and now, it's you and me
this is what dreams are made of
this is what dreams are made of
i've got somewhere i belong
i've got somebody to love
this is what dreams are made of
open your eyes
shout to the sky
when i see you smiling i go, oh, oh, oh
yesterday my life was duller, now everything's technicolor!
this is what dreams are made of
this is what dreams are made of
i've got somewhere i belong
i've got somebody to love
this is what dreams, dreams
this is what dreams are made of
what dreams are made of

just like birds of a feather; a rainbow together we'll find
Okay since I'm super tired and wanted to sleep ten minutes ago I'll keep this short.
Class came and went. We watch the same econ videos we saw in high school. Came home and watched Dead Poets Society with my mom. I've wanted to see it ever since Smallville made a reference to it earlier this season. Good movie. Sucks how kids will say whatever just to say their own tails. Also the whole doing/thinking for yourself vs what your parents want thing. Of course, there was getting the girl. Glad I got around to watching this, because I think I ran out of renewals, haha.
As for the evening, I went to the A's game with some of the #clan_xs folk. First stopped by the Yan household to get both of them to head out to BART. I tell you, that younger one is a hassel. Takes longer than me in front of the mirror, and it was like all guys going! What the heck. Anyways we get to BART, and there's a bunch of cvhs people I don't know who Ken start's drooling over. Saw Sam on the platform so I said hey. After waiting one inning at the stadium for the last of the group to show up, we made our way inside.
Always fun going out to the ballpark, besides the bitter coldness. We originally had seats in the highest row, but they were bird poop infested (like Garrett's shoes in NY, but with dog poop), so we moved down to where it was a bit cleaner. A's eventually won in extra innings. At one point at near dead tiredness we started reciting the words to "What Dreams Are Made Of" from Lizzie Mcguire, since you know, mostly everyone there knew the movie. Great hanging out with a crowd where I feel like I can say whatever without offending anyone and look all the girls in the locale without feeling like I'm being unmanly. I finally met Phillip (aka p(res), wtghaha) and Stephen (aka sosage, sonofshao) in person!
Food consumed by group of 12:
38 hot dogs
3 chili cheese nachos
2 cheese nachos
2 chocolate malts

why not take a star from the sky?
why not spread your wings and fly?
Class. I like how the instructor throws Spanish slang into his lectures. It's funny how he refers to white people as gringos.
Got home and didn't do much. Got around to watching The Lizzie McGuire Movie. Now usually I don't download telesyncs, but Hank sent this to me (thanks!) sometime last week, so I gave it a go. I guess it's not bad. Of course it's a Disney movie, so watching a movie that didn't require brain power was a great relief. Nice, fun, light hearted flick. Actually had a slight little twist at the end that messed up how I thought the movie was going to end. It's all good though. Sweet finale at the end. Ah, an always big question: blonde or brunette? Hilary Duff looks pretty cute sometimes throughout the movie, especially at the end up on stage. Must be the lighting. She's only 15, I think. Okay I'll stop now before my one way seat to hell gets upgraded.
"You shine like the light from the sun."
I actually thought about buying the soundtrack, since nobody's ripped it, but then I rememberd the last album I actually paid for was Mariah Carey's Daydream (great album, btw). The last album I seriously considered buying was 98 Degrees' Revelation. So if you have the Lizzie McGuire OST, please let me borrow it. Some of the songs are pretty awesome and fun to sing along with.
Watched some sports, Dog Eat Dog, Best Damn Sports Show, and that's about it.
Since I can't stop people from being retarded, please refer yourself to the quote box. Thanks.

so walk a little slower and open up your eyes
First day of summer school class. Teacher seems pretty cool, and apparently is pretty old, too. Sounds like he knows what he's talking about. Has strong opinions. Uber left winger. Completely opposes anything and everything President Bush and what the GOP is doing and their viewpoints. Opposes the war on terror, tax refunds, government spending, and probably pro choice. Doesn't seem like he'll back down from an argument. Still, good teacher it looks like. Oh and looks like the nerds are taking over Chabot. =p
After class Willy, Rob, Jhermaine and I ate lunch at Marie Calenders. So great hanging out with old friends again. Pretty much right off the bat after sitting down I was having to defend my positions in some decisions I've maid. Things are getting back to normal again. Lots of laughs, funny topics of conversation, and of course, the usual smack talking. Great time.
Went to Pro's house afterwards just to hang out. I ended up taking a nap. After a while we migrated to Nick's house to head out to Dublin. After some initial delay due to some miscommunication and otherwise, we made our way to Target. Oh boy oh boy oh boy. It's potentially going to be a great working summer. I might just starting putting in more hours now, haha. Yessss. Oh wait, I'll just make some new friends, first. Pffft. Went to try that new tapioca place in Dublin behind Target. Way too much nice in my Thai tea. Will not return to that place.
Came home to eat dinner, then headed out to Will's house where everyone was to play some video games. Eventually a few more came, and we had a grand ol time. I got up and danced everytime someone had a gamebreaker in NBA Street2. Willy tried to play some CS, but he wasn't doing so well. Chris and I won our Halo 2v2 game. Ken kicked me out of his rooml. Then told me if I sat in his chair he'd beat me down, so I had to settle for the floor.
So I learned something. Well, not exactly a new thing, but something was reaffirmed. Secrets more or less do not exist. For most things, eventually it will be found out. There's no one thing that's proved this to me, so don't worry if you're thinking I'm talking about you. Anyways, this is inevitable. Most things are really just not that important. Sometimes you people trip too much over the smallest things. Who really gives a "flying f" who you like, or where you were at a certain time? Jeezus. You think you're gonna have problems if word gets out over these little things? Give me a break. Now tell me something really serious and important like you do drugs (drinking and smoking does not count people, but that's for another post) or have unprotected sex, then I'll keep my mouth shut. Don't want to tell me what's going on with other people? HAH! Jokes on you because it's only a matter of time, and I'm only asking you because I want to hear it from you instead of someone else. So please, let's just try to be up front with one another and not try to hide anything, because there really is no point. Really, what's the point of delaying the truth?
Someone asked me today "why do you know everything?" No, not in the academic or trivial sense. You know, the social aspect of things. People's current affairs, general happenings, stuff of that nature. I really don't know the answer. Maybe it's because people with big mouths have good ears and connections. Still, you must know that more than 69 percent of the things I say are garbage.
Someone else said to me I'm only going to get respect when I start giving respect. Please. I don't have a freaking bag of respect to be freely passed around here. I'm not that super duper merry can't-say-no nice guy. Sure, I'll be nice to you and all, but just know depending on who you are, I could care less what you think of me. It's alright if you're one of those people who form opinions of someone before you meet them (because I am one of those people). If you still think I'm a retard after you've known me for a while, then so be it. You think I care for or fear the idea that "(girl) friends talk to their friends?" If you're already going to hate on me for what you've heard through the grapevine then please get off. There were only a few who held out against common judgement against me when I first met them, and I'll just take this opportunity now to thank you. Do I have a need for approval from every last person? Absolutely not. I'm not one who tries to please everyone by being out-of-my-way nice. If that makes me a prick, then oh. I just ask that you give me your own fair judgement, because I give you the same respect (oh). Thanks.
Again please remember it's not your fault I wrote those last two paragraphs. Stop worrying or tripping, depending on which one you were.
ShrimpSiumai (8:35:42 PM): yes!
StrikeoutK (8:35:44 PM): sup
StrikeoutK (8:36:36 PM): you found me hot girl?

StrikeoutK (8:37:10 PM): okay i'll just go to the store

Team Rated R To Next Round
Yep, that's right. On Saturday, five representatives of Team Rated R took to the WCG qualifying round in San Jose. Thanks to our fearless leader, Jhermaine (aka thePro), the team managed into the next round of competition. The first map was against a team that from their looks, was either really good or really bad. Fortunately they were the latter, losing 24-0 to us. Although that victory was followed by two losses, those two losses were not without great playing. Game two was againt a team that supposedly was somewhat known throughout the CS world. Funny though, because we ran them close, losing 9-13. During the match, I'd manage to kill someone, and across the room we could hear the dead person cry "Ahh. That pansy!" (my nickname). Probably my proudest CS moment. My job is done, and now it's up to the regular starters of the team to enter the next round and win it all! Oh and an interesting note: it was hot as heck in there; everyone was in t-shirts except Nick, who was cold and wore a sweater. Crazy guy.
Sunday. Did nothing. Spurs beat the Nets. Boo. I did some room cleaning. Yay.
Another thought from a few days ago:
I'd just like all my close friends to know something. If you dislike someone, then I don't like that someone either. If you hate someone, then I'll hate them as long as you do. Just know that. I do, however, demand and appreciate the same (to some degree, at least) from you. Of course only from my closer friends, that is. Confused are you? Please look up what it means to be loyal. Thanks.

From a temp.txt file:
Friday some of us played basketball. The first game we played I wanted to win, but we didn't. The second game I really wanted to win, but again we didn't. I felt pretty bad after losing those two games to that other team, not only cuz it's a loss, but because I wanted to win for someone else.
Pregame quote:
charles: watch out for jerry, he's the shooter.
tom: jerry's the shooter?!
me: i'm flattered, charles.
charles: shooter in the sense he takes a lot of shots and misses them. just like with women.
Oh I love smack talk on the court.
Game 3 some more people came, and our group got split up. Tom and Jhermaine joined with a three some, and played the newcomers. They lost. So I told our two that lost that I'd get it back for them. our team, you ask? 1.5 ball handlers in Will and I, and 2.5 big men in Gerald, Kevin, and Nick. We were pretty much getting ran off the court, falling behind 2-8 in a 12 point game. Well, after my last two failures I wasn't about to three and out. At one point, our come back began. Finally a second agressive inside man arrived in Gerald going to the hole for a couple scores. Then I decided to step up and take over the game to help our team some more:
First offensive trip down the court:
I hit trey number one.
me: uh oh
Second o-trip:
charles: you just hit one, i have to respect you now.
[he plays up defense]
I hit trey number two.
Following defensive trip:
me: don't give me respect. just play the game.
Third o-trip:
[Charles closes out even closer]
Trey number three.
Psyched up and wanting to show everyone what I just did, I yell coming back down the court for about 5 seconds.
After some more battling back and forth, the score is tied 12-12. Then I decided we've been messing around too much.
Trey number four to win the game. All four from the right wing. I start doing a touchdown style stroll back down the other end of the court. Game over. Losers please vacate the court.
Sorry for failing the first two (more important) games.
Anyways, just a thought:
I fail to understand why some people don't get emotional when playing. It's supposed to be if you're up, you feel good, and when you're down, you feel bad. Of course when you're leading you can joke and smile and laugh and all that good stuff, but when you're getting ran off the court it's time to put the game face on. Playing one on one defense is the ultimate display of your skill against your opponents. Aren't you upset when the man you're guarding just beat you? Don't you get pissed off when you try your best and still get owned? Does it feel good to know that your man just did something better? Isn't it a horrible feeling to just get dunked on? For me, getting beat by an outside jay is alright, because some luck is involved, but when someone of comparable skill beats me off the first step and goes to the hole is just personally embarrasing, and pisses me off. I'm not saying take it personally and knock out the guy, but try to get them back for what they just did to you. Just play with some emotion, is all I ask. It's not just a matter of going out and playing for the hell of it when it's against other people. Kind of like everything else in life, you practice and work on things for when you really need them. Since none of us are playing NBA or NCAA ball, our trips to the rec and gyms against other people have to be our testing ground. Of course if they're showboating with extra, unnecessary moves or some fancy crap, you have my permission to throw an elbow or give a back check. Only if you think our group can take on their group, though. Oh.
Kind of semi-related, I'd never flaunt anything except when I'm on the court/field, haha. I will never consciously "show off" my girlfriend. I just want all of you to know that. All of you boyfriends/girlfriends that do that can kiss my ass.
Now in a semi-related matter to the paragraph above. Ken's latest recon might as well been toilet paper, because that's all it was good for. Completely off base. It's okay thought, I can't have correct information all the time now. Just don't let it happen again.

Just finished watching The Even Stevens Movie on The Disney Channel, haha. Something about the family went on a dream vacation to an island, but they were actually on a reality tv show or something. I didn't really care. The Ren Stevens girl is super super cute, and I'm now going to watch that show whenever I can. That is all.

A's Game, CVHS Graduation 2003
Oh boy been lax with updates. Let me take a moment to rethink the past few days. Wednesday went to the A's game with a bunch of friends. First time taking BART to the coliseum. We managed to get tickets off a scalper, haha. Anyways the seats were in the nosebleed section, but the view surprisingly isn't that bad. Besides it being freezingly (that a word?) cold, and the fact that the A's ended up losing were the only bad things that happened.
A la http://www.retardedman.com style, a list of food consumed:
3 dollar hot dogs
1 garlic fries ($5.00)
[edit] and by the rest of the group:
1 soda
1 ice cream
22 dollar hot dogs
2 garlic fries [/edit]
Ah Thursday. First Will, Jhermaine, and I went to the mall to get a few things for the kids leaving the high school. Did a little strolling around, which is always good btw at the mall, then bounced. Hung out around Will's house for a while before walking to the high school to sit through graduation. Like the grandest graduation of 2002, it was cold and chilly. It felt shorter than I remember, but I don't think I'm exactly right with that assertion. Anyways the event came and went, and pics and stuff came afterwards. It was (mostly) good seeing those I haven't in a year, and especially those I haven't seen in like, 3-4 years. Pretty weaksauce with the two straight years without a senior prank though. Anyways, to Flora, AJ, Ken, and all you other recent grads, congrats and welcome to the years where you're really no longer a kid, but in no way are adults yet. Oh.
Went to Will's afterwards. Met by Gerald and Tom who showed up later. First we made a food run at Jack's, then came back to start the movie. Watched Tears of the Sun. Navy SEAL's have to extract a doctor in some ghetto, war-torn African country, but she doesn't want to go without all the indigenous people. I thought it was a pretty good movie, although there were only really like two action scenes in this movie. Ending is pretty unfortunate with all the casualties taken.
Light hearted chat on who to marry, what to name kids, and who I'd rather bring home to the family. In typical Jerry style, the crowd was literally rofl.
To keep this post rather positive, I'll save some other bits for a later post.

been such a long time waiting for someone i could call my own
Winamp alarm failed to turn on at 9:15 AM to wake me up. For the first time ever, fortunately Target called me to ask if I wanted to work Friday. I checked the time; 9:40. I had to be at Nick's at 9:45. Oh. Eventually got there at 10:15 or so. Stuffed Tom, Kristen, Jhermaine, and myself into Nick's car, with me riding trunk.
Great America was fun again. Again our longest wait was for Stealth, but for some reason there's always a looker waiting in line with us. I'm going to hell just like Hank, but oh well. All other lines were pretty short. I hit 1 of 4 free throws to win a basketball. I was going to get a UCLA ball (one of my two favorite schools), but the asian guy gave me some bs about not being able to give out inflated balls anymore. Yet some guy like 10 feet behind me was bouncing his basketball around. Fine, I thought, I'll just win the UCLA ball at another time. Settled for a Penn State ball; still good because I like Penn State, too. More than UCB.
Rode trunk again on the way back, but I fell asleep back there so it was all good. We went to Nick's house for dinner and to watch some tv. A's won with a walk off homer in extra innings. We channel surfed through what was on tv, most notably an episode of 8 Simple Rules, which was super good. A little bit of Dog Eat Dog and Smallville, and our night was complete. Boo I just missed Even Stevens.
Pics featuring me from the GA visit can be found here.
Hello there with all the sharing going on btw.
Thanks everybody for taking this blog over the 30k hit mark a few days ago.

you're not fooling no one
you're not even fooling you
Didn't do much yesterday. Again woke up early at 11:00 AM. Had to pick my mom up from Costco because she dropped off her car for new tires and apparently they were backed up like whoa or something. Came back, ate lunch, sat my rear in my chair and veggied. Watched the Ducks lose to a better Devils team in game seven. Too bad. Let's see what else. Watched a little college world series tournament action, but didn't really pay attention, as Stanford wasn't playing. Burned off six episodes of Alias season two. Looks great on tv; better than broadcast quality. That's about it for my day.

Out of 60. Works for me!
(0) comments
but i understand that you did what you had to do
Okay okay let's see what I've been up to. Saturday morning I woke up bright and early at 11:00 AM to go pick Kevin up from SAT II out at Skyline HS. It's some school that sits atop a hill that's actually in a pretty good neighborhood, but Oakland is Oakland afterall. Went to lunch afterwards. Rest of the day I kinda forgot what I did. Watched some hockey, that's for sure. Damn, I really forgot what I did Saturday. Oh yeah, I worked on my computer all day. My computer and I have this sort of love/hate relationship going. Most of the time we're dandy, but once in a while she gets upset and doesn't want to work with me. Sometimes I get tired of her and go watch tv instead. Usually in the end everything works, thought, so that's good.
Worked yesterday. I was the only fool working the front lanes for a while, but hey that's alright because I'll always find ways to pass the time. No, I'm not looking at the ground and I'm not going to count the money like some people would. In the afternoon Tom, Kevin, Nick, and I went to the rec to play some bball. Pretty good games, and it wasn't too tiring. We went to the pool, but didn't swim because it was a tad too nippy.
Can we please try to remember that we're all 18-19-20 years old, and not 38-39-40? Much appreciated. Thanks.
bye babe.
Definately not an import model fan:
flaureea (8:00:59 PM): car models (girls, not models of cars) = disgusting

import modeling is FOR YOU!"
ShrimpSiumai (11:19:12 PM): does that mean i'm sexy?
ShrimpSiumai (11:19:19 PM): or is it bad

i wonder why the stars don't seem to guide me
Been many a day since my last blog. Either stupid blogger.com has just been screwy or I've just been lazy. Been playing a lot of bball this week. I remember playing a 2 on 2 game to 11 points, and me scoring nine of the points. Thursday we got most of us out there and we ran full court with some other people. Now one of my toes is all messed up. Sometime in the week I bought Brokedown Palace and Fair Game. Also, Steph got me the A&F quarterly catalog and a bag that turns into a poster. Thanks!
Thursday evening I went out to Alameda to watch some xs hockey. I didn't make it in time because I again got lost going there. For a few minutes I was on International Avenue. At that point I rolled up the windows, locked the doors, turned down the music, and wiped the crap off my leg. Anyways, it's nice to know I pass as being 21.
Yesterday (Friday) Chester, Tracy, Kevin, Tom, Jhermaine, Eric and I went to Century out in Union City to watch 2 Fast 2 Furious. Not bad as far as action movies go. Luckily in the movie the camera showed the cars speedometers going 100-120 mph, because at top speeds, some of the cars wouldn't be able to keep up with one another as they did in the movie. My movie experience was brought down from of the janky surroundings. First off, the theatre itself had issues with sound processing or something, because there was no center channel for dialogue. Any dialogue we got was distorted and muffled through the main side speakers which are supposed to be used for sound effects and ambient noise. Fortunately management manned up and gave everyone a free ticket to a future screening of any movie. T3 here I come! Some kids cell phone rang behind me during the movie, and the jigga actually answered it and conversed. What in the hell. Send a damn text message. Hopefully I'll never have to see a movie from that theatre again. It's not cool seeing 4 police squad cars in the parking lot. That area is just not cool. Usually at Regal there are a few lookers, and unless your name is Ken Yan, there wasn't a single one down in Union City. The people down there in general is just, eh. At least the female lead was pretty hot. Everybody then came to my house for dinner.

Well after one hour I figured out what was wrong with my sound. Turns out I had the plugs going into the input than output. So this officially puts me in the same place as I was yesterday afternoon. Oh, except now I have one blown power supply unit. What a cost to getting nothing done. I am such an idiot. Thanks Brian for letting me borrow the psu.

i'm counting the signs, and cursing the miles in between
Woke up with a phone call from Gerald. At first I thought "wtf this mofo just woke me up", but after hanging up and checking out the clock, I realized my winamp alarm was going to go off in about 10 minutes so I just got out of bed. Ate lunch, then went out with Chester to Dublin. First to Best Buy where I got some cdrs. I was going to get doax, but those mofos are still out of stock. Super duper weaksauce. Afterwards went back to Circuit City to check out a wireless hub. I just realized I have to go back there to get some cheap(er) cdrs to burn off some tv shows.
Watched some sports. A's got torn up like kids, and Giants lost as well. Saw some Dog Eat Dog action (for the great competition, hah) and followed that by watching the intros to the Miss Universe pageant. Went to Tapioca Express with some friends, and turned Eric more asian by bringing him along. I think he liked the chicken and milk tea, but wasn't feeling the bobas, haha. Must be the whole foreign to chewing while drinking action. Afterwards went to Nick's house and chilled there for a bit.
OMG all of you have to check out my new, improved Courtney Day Gallery. Not just more pictures, but in higher resolution as well! She's so cute. You'll have to register with imagestation.com to see them, though. Well worth it.

to hold you close and dry your tears
Hmm. Woke up around noon time. I guess Jhermaine was being serious about going to Great America again, as he went again yesterday. Anyways Chester asked if I wanted to go play some basketball, so after I completely woke up and ate lunch I went to the rec. Tom was there too when I got there. We didn't play any games, but shot around for a long while. Simply put, I was shooting the lights out. My great shooting carried over to our traditional games of horse, where I took both games, heh.
Chester, Tracy, and I kicked it afterwards out in Dublin. I'm so freaking mad at myself. All day I said I was going to buy two copies of one magazine. After I got home, I realized I forgot to buy the magazine. Silly me. Why do I want the magazine, you ask? Well, the well written articles and reviews, of course. Yeah, right. Check out Courtney Day. So cute, so cute. One of the prettier import models I've seen in a long time. Finished off my evening by watching the Ducks beat the Devils in overtime, and with some good ol' W3 action.

there's a fire that burns my soul's desire
Woke up at 8:10 to call in sick at work. Woke up around noon. Didn't do anything today except watch sports and do some stuff around the house. It's so hot throughout the day there's no time to wash the car. As for tv, saw 44 Minutes on FX. If you don't follow tv, it was about the LAPD bankrobbery shootout a few years back. Also, Black Sash is back on the air. I think that's going to turn into a show I watch just for the female actors, haha.
You people are killing me. I've said here at least twice to stop being so retarded. It's like most of you are seeing the words, but not reading them. Sometimes I write with some complicated words, I know, but usually it's simple enough for everyone to understand. Stop being so retarded. Little things lately have just been pissing me off. All of the stupid things you say, the piss-poor excuses, and simple one word answers. The big blue text on top of the page says "Jerry's Page," not "Let's All Be Stupid." Jeezus. In a semi-simlar theme, sometimes I just want to leave a comment on people's blogs/xangas telling them how stupid they are. Feel free to do that here, though. Oh.
It's been good lately to know who around me is good for what. These past few weeks have been funny. I think for the first time ever, I'm actually being bothered by what happens to others around me. No, not that be-helpful-to-everyone-cuz-I'm-a-nice-guy bull crap. That's just garbage. Genuinely being a friend.
Back in Freshman year, a friend of mine tried something that inevitably was going to result in failure. The failure came, but it should have came way more respectfully, more personally. I've since dismissed everything with the mind that everyone back then were just kids, and that was the best that could be done. These days though, we're all older, (supposedly) more mature, and should know some degre of proper respect. There are certain ways some things are done. Don't be pansy about it. Just come with whatever you're bringing forth. Then there are those who just try to avoid everything.
Hell, none of this crap is even my problem, haha. Don't worry about me, though. I'm not going to go mad unless one thing I have no control over happens. Fortunately (for me), I don't see that one thing happening any time soon.

if i could turn back the hands of time
Great America Friday. Awesome time. Showed up at the Chan household, greeted by Brian who was laughing at me for the events of my life. Got there around 10:45. The only line that was long was the first ride we went to. Two hours long. Worth it though in my opinion. Head-turner (girl #1) right behind us, and I was head-turning for the first half of our wait. Eventually I spotted another girl (#2) about 14-16 heads down. So cute, so cute. Unfortunately she was with a guy that made most of us slam our heads against the wall. That wouldn't be the last time we ran into her.
Ate lunch, and made a lap around the park. All the other lines we waited in were short. I'm talking like less than twenty minutes. To make my point, there was no line on Top Gun. The wait was one group worth getting on and off the ride. Less than two minutes. Do you believe that? The flagship attraction with no waiting. After we all got strapped in, I noticed a girl sporting a pink tank and sunglasses waiting in line. As the ride launches, we're officially doing a "flyby" and I give out a big "whooooooo." Definately pretty, but not as strong as girl #2. Thanks Brian for driving us.
Drop zone. I put a penny in my hands and let it drop with me. Turns out either the seat/me or the penny isn't going at 9.8 m/s/s. I think it was the seat/me. As for basketball shots, I made 0 of 3, haha.
Anyways back to the cute girl (#2) from the first line. We were walking around closing time when I saw her on the swings. All of us grabbed front row seats, I mean sat in a sitting area to enjoy our frozen lemonades. I didn't think it could taste so good. Wholy arf, she was something. I think we were unanimous in our opinions, haha. Asian, too (Chester stop banging your head).
Afterwards went to Nick's house and watched some tv there. When time came we traveled over to Jhermaine's house to eat dinner and stuff. Fun times, although I failed Jhermaine.
Saturday. Woke up, went to my unsuccessful baseball tryout. In my rush to leave, I forgot to drop my camera off for Ken. I feel so bad in letting down so many people.
I said I wouldn't be home tonight, so some of us are at Will's house just hanging out.
I will eventually be a worthy contributer to arf. No more of this leeching garbage. Gotta start writing the book instead of reading it.
Hello there, what's with people either doing or thinking up retarded things again. Aren't you kids reading what I'm writing here? Jeezus. Some things just aren't supposed to happen. However if that's the case, then some things are supposed to happen. Take tonight, for example. Someone has everything all backwards. What did and didn't happen should have been switched around.
All you kids who are participating in senior ball, I hope most of you are having a blast. Those of you who aren't, I shake your hand. For those who didn't go, I am temporarily envious.
[02:08] pansy: ken
[02:08] pansy: you are one lucky son of a bitch
[02:08] pansy: i just want you to know that
[02:08] LanJai: why?
[02:08] LanJai: why am i lucky?
[02:08] pansy: because you are actually going with who you want
[02:08] LanJai: oh
[02:08] pansy: thats like minority among us
[02:08] LanJai: always jerry..
[02:08] LanJai: always
