fly like an angel heaven sent to me
I got up a tad earlier than usual at 10:00 AM to finish the essays I started from the previous night; sucks for me that I only had one paragraph done. Oh well, I worked and worked until noon, and finished. I ate lunch, then went back to revise an essay I did a few weeks ago. Not bad, if I say so myself. Peer editing in english was pretty useless. The instructor says it's okay to leave marks and corrections on other people's drafts, but I got my papers back as clean as when I gave them out. Weaklings. Then we spend an hour reading over an 18 page packet and having to answer questions on it. Bah. On the way to psych Jhermaine and I ran into Ian, so we talked for a few minutes before parting. In psych we watched a pretty cool video on emotions. We got back out precalc tests today, and the average was a 78. As soon as I heard the average, I thought to myself "omg it's hs all over again, here comes the 59 or something", but nope, a score of 86 baby. Whoo! I haven't seen that score since who knows when. YAY!

there's no easy way out
Target. I swear that place sometimes drives me crazy. There are these retards that refuse to turn their head by 45 degrees to their right and notice the wide open other half of the front lanes. Oh well, I'm just the guy that rings crap up, right? I can't really say much anyways; I've been a moron myself lately as well. The time I sleep, not doing homework, various other things... even the way I've been playing W3 lately. Will stopped by today, and I rang his crap up. Something then came up about some stuff being labled on sale or something, I dunno. I did sell one glow in the dark skeleton and a pumpkin costume. Target is pretty whack; I've been wearing the same janky red "take this job and shove it" t-shirt forever now with no offer of a replacement, then Flora comes along with her 90 day review and gets a nice-but-still-janky Target polo shirt. Now that is some serious hateshipness going on.
During (my extended) break, I found myself talking to Flora about hot guys... again. Yikes! At least it was sorta fair this time and the whole time wasn't spent talking about other dudes. Somebody today was being (negative + mean)^2 today though. =\ Let's see what I can remember being made fun of... my chapstick, my rhetorical skills, my reading materials. I'm sure there were more, but there's "too much that I can't even remember." Then I got dirt smeared on me. =/ But it's nice to know we all still live down on earth. Then after we both got off the 03 kids wanted to take pictures for the yearbook. I knew there was something that we forgot to do last year... Anyways since I was the only digicam guru not in the pictures I naturally took the photographer job. Flora gave me a fatty 35mm camera in addition to the Canon, and it reminded me of days gone by when taking pictures was a specialty for me. Many "natural pose" (haha, stat-class term) shots were taken, but eventually the kids settled in and took some real nice poses. Hopefully a nice one goes into the yearbook. Then there came a little discussion on what hot and cute is, and the differences and pros/cons of each.
I swear there were infinitely more quotes, but here's all I can remember from the day:
"Hey Jerry, (aka) Mr. Supreme."
"Jerry ranks right up there with duck crap."
"You deserve a beating for making me think of that."
"I get lost in it."
"You wont punch thru this."
From TNG:
"I thought it was just harmless infatuation, something hormonal and not emotional, then as the months went by I realized it was something. Though I would never act on it I couldn't deny it."

i aint gonna cry, no
Whoo I woke up around 10:30 or something this morning, took a shower, then sat around for a bit. Around 12:30, my brother and I set out to pick up Nick, Will, and Willy. Willy was out in Hayward Toyota doing someting to his car or something, but oh well it was a nice little detour. We then met up with Gerald and Steph at Black Angus out at Regal for lunch. Well folks, I'm now broke. I treated Willy and Gerald to their meals, because of a "bet" that I took with blind confidence. What was I thinking? Anyways we then went to see The Tuxedo. The movie was okay, I suppose. Jacky Chan was sorta his usual self, but yay for Jennifer Love Hewitt *drool*. Arf. Oops. I'm now broke^2. I then came home and watched the A's win again, and then showered and played some games or something. Find out what your Smurf name is here.
sperm comedy
Amusingly thanks to Flora for this one.
Some lines from the movie:
"Never take advice on women from women."
"Tell her you had a dream about her."
"Just go over there and ask her out so she can say no and we can all be on with our lives."
Wow that last one was pretty harsh. =\
From Back To The Future III:
"I can't fall in love at first sight, there's no scientific basis!"
-"It's not science doc. It's like lightning... it just hits you."
"Ass grabbing is not right."
"Keep your sperm to yourself."
"(It's) gonna bite them in the ass later."
"It would make me angel^infinity."
Much luck goes out to Garrett whose getting his gall bladder removed in the morning. I wish you a very speedy and well recovery.

Today I went to Genghis Khan with Dave for lunch. After that I spent some time at the Yee household, and not much after that. Around 6:30 or so Kevin, Tom, Chester, Nick, Gerald and I went to the courts to shoot around some. We didn't play any games, but it was nice getting out to do something besides go to school. No se what I'm gonna do for the rest of the night.
It seems like every once in a long while I make a post on how crappy Castro Valley High School is, so tonight the tradition continues. For some reason, that school is always in the news for something negative; first it was the racism article in a popular bay area newspaper, then the student protesting of the firing of a staff member, and the ludicrous jailbait issue. Regardless of the laundry list of issues at the school, everyone knows the politics of the high school work in an interesting way, within different people and to different levels. It is also a known fact that certain members of Castro Valley High School administration are biased to some students or racist against certain groups. This is incontrovertible. Many a time students from certain ethnic or racial backgrounds would be called in and punished in a manner different than other (read: majority) groups. Every single student knows what group of people sit on top of the pecking order; this is a fact of life at school, but there's nothing really to be done about it. Also, there have been many times where others and myself have heard (and been directly told by) staff members and teachers complain and express their negative thoughts on certain administrators. However when teachers or staff have spoken up, they were relased the next year. A good amount of the time school administration is "good" at what they do: breaking up fights, not being available when you really need them, calling you in to see them but to only actually see them an hour later, giving parking fines, making false assumptions, lying and trickery and deception (their forte), all are performed at high caliber. Ever notice the lack of administrators of certain backgrounds? Students are called in to explain themselves, and administration resorts to fallacious statements and accusations, pillaging and badging students until a forced confession is given, simply because they can't take any more crap. Any student who has had to deal with them knows this. Then there is the whole issue of being impartial, or failure of being, rather. Many students will argue they are treated unfairly.
The incident that has webbed my brother recently proves to be of prime example. In a very similar occurance in the previous year, matters and sentences were carried out way too differently. The other student (who was probably not of high standing and not well liked by teachers, as is the case here) was basically let go with a slap on the wrist; a "warning" if you will. Not so when it comes to a student with yellow skin. What happened you ask? An ensuing 5 day weekend is what happened. I realize any "wrong" doing here, and for that I almost offer an apology. I must insist however that the school takes such a matter and treats it in a consistent manner, which they have not. That is preposterous. I am utterly upset, less with the actions of both parties, but more with the school. This course of action taken is an insult, affronting, risible, a joke. Give me a break here. I am befuddled, bewildered, and besides myself. On more than one occasion some people, including myself, are not proud to enunciate that such an asinine institute for public education such as Castro Valley High School is our alma mater. As long as these well known conditions within the school aren't resolved, this will be one of those occasions.
So I was at dictionary.com (like I always am):
joke

Something not said seriously, or not actually meant.
shad·y
adj.

friend
n.

tease
v.
To arouse hope, desire, or curiosity in without affording satisfaction.

you're the inspiration
I guess the sociology teacher figured out that was she was putting the class to sleep, so she let us out twenty minutes early today, which was good. Jhermane and I then went to meet Nick at Target, where he got a basketball and backpack, both on clearance. We all then went to the Target "company" picnic at some local park to get some food and drinks. At Nick's house I showed myself that I can run with some hardcore Quake Three bots, so that's good. At home I've just been watching some tv; the A's won the AL west division earlier, so gg on that. Off Centre and Friends have finished, and I'm watching the season premier of ER right now.
Oh man, I'm going to be soo broke after this weekend. New movies coming out this weekend, anyone feel like seeing one?

"He slipped his arms around her as if there was no question at all about what he was doing and he could take all the time he wanted to do it. He kissed her mouth. It seemed to her that this was the first time ever that she had participated in a kiss that was an event in itself. The whole story, all by itself. A tender prologue, an efficient pressure, a wholehearted probing and receiving, a lingering thanks, and a drawing away satisfied.(84)."
Woke up at 10:00 AM today, and started working on my essay which I finished around 12:15 PM. I went to CVHS to pick up Kevin, then I came back, yeah. Went to school, fell asleep in english, blahblah. Took my first precalc test today. Really "studied" too. 10 problems, 2.25 hours, I didn't get final answers to three of the problems. I probably got a B on it, or I hope so at least. Oh well. In other news, Kelly Clarkson's single went jumped from number 52 all the way to number 1 on the Billboard hot 100. I look forward to the album. So I guess the '02 CVHS legacy still stands. At least now my weekand has basically started. What's with Dave coming to my house earlier just to tell Kevin? Weaksauce.

the future doesn't scare me at all
Haha more marriage information in class today. I swear I've been surrounded with that topic lately. The videos, gift registry broschure, newspaper article about financial issues in marriage, blahblah, remind me in a decade. Came home, did nothing, except watch all those tv shows listed below. The only thing I really watched was JAG. Changed around between Buffy and Gilmore, but nahh. Saw nothing of the Guardian and changed the channel right after seeing Kristen Kruek, and I missed the "scene" on The Real World. I haven't started homework that's due tomrrow. Crap.
Ken's random thoughts on the Kelly Clarkson Video:
" With the wifebeater under the top (tank)."
"Maybe it's her arms."
"Her face isn't that great, nor is her body."
"Shes like the popular girl in hs, but she doesnt compare to the models and celebrities."
And the finale:
"This video is weak... 'friggin' low budget 'crap'."
Ok so maybe not everything was being critical of just the video.
"Damnit Jerry everything sucks."

Aww crap there's too many options on tv Tuesday nights. We have JAG and The Guardian on CBS, Buffy the Vampire Slayer on UPN, Gilmore Girls and Smallville on WB, and The Real World on MTV. Then there's all these other new shows I might sneak a peak at. Bah. Looks like homework and shower will be delayed, cuz I'm too lazy to do it now.

just breathe
Omg English class sucks. As Jhermaine put it, the teacher was probably picked on as a student and became a teacher to vent her frustrations. She blatantly corrects people and uggghh, crap, she grades hard too. Bah, and at Costco, there were no free sample stations at all! Weaksauce man. That's a quarter of my dinner right there. Boo. Psych was really interesting today. We got our tests back, and scored lower than expected but for some reason I just don't care. At one point someone mentioned the article on taking ecstasy and viagra at the same time, then all of the sudden all the women started making fun of men. =\ Not too pretty. She also recalled a conversation with her mom about vibrators, haha. Then precalc came, and yeahh, test on Wednesday, but for some reason I don't care either. That class is pretty funny though. Back at home I caught the last twenty minutes of the American Idol special, and started to watch the recording of 7th Heaven my mom recorded for me, but my vcr ate the tape, and I'm too lazy to go to the other room and watch it. Remember everyone to watch Real World tomorrow, haha.
"You got yourself a coat hanger there for a while."
"Everything sucks!"
"It's sextacy!"
"Why did the line cross the asymptote?"
-"To get to the other side."
Okay that was lame, but that's how it is in precalc.

it's good that i can joke about it now
Remember those days when I took 30-40 minute showers? Yeah tonight is now two showers like that in a row now. Yesterday was really just to relax and what not, but today, I actually did something productive (if wasting water can be considered as such). Two things occupied my mind: 1) my new major that I still have to choose, 2) how blssed I am for the friendship and support I have. Let me take this moment now to to say some (mostly nice) things about everyone. (in alpha order) Captain Chester, the one I can go to for any help in one of the two hard/difficult areas of life (hey make your bathrooms smell nice with that sea scent stuff I gave you, ok?). Capain Gerald, always there whenever I need a quick bit of info or some quick advice, and a pretty funny mofo by the way he acts. Jhermaine, what can I say, the newest and yet oldest member, sometimes I just don't know, but I know once in a while you got something good to say, with something good to back it up with, once in a while I guess that extra year of exp does come in. Nick, Nicky Nicky Nicky, always willing to offer an opinion, the other viewpoint, if I ever want practical advice or need to hear the right thing to do, you're the guy to go to. Rob, I can go to you for the other difficult area, school/academics as well as the first, the "might as well" attitude while straight-forward, is one to be always considered when coming to a decision. Willy, the king of smack talking and laying it down, again both good for both areas, usually I get sound, straight no bs advice from you, you have the ability of calling things before they happen, and the number of reasons you can come up to me and say "I told you so" is uncanny. Will, ah man, back during the little school (read: high school) days, you were a tour de force, being champion of stealing and gypping, but always able to tell me what I had to do and how to do it. Captain Tom, this man knows his stuff, in a range of areas, thanks a lot for the no bs help (sorry for throwing away all that crap in your garbage haha). Thanks a lot everyone for everything. Keep up the gamin' and irc channel. Good luck to everyone with all of life's endeavors and hurdles, and aim to stay happy.
My right index finger doesn't hurt anymore, but the thumb on that hand is hurting like a mofo from being burned. On the left hand I now have a hole on the index finger where I was stabbed by a thorn. Haha yess I just heard that the essay isn't due until Wednesday, so forget about doing that.
"My stomach hurt so I got the food and ate it, then I learned that it wasn't because I was hungry."
"It's not all that it's made out to be. There are other types of problems you run into."
-"Yeah but at least they're new problems."
"That bucket of yours is getting pretty full."
"Just give me some time... and two hundred dollars."
I just found this poem:
THE ROSE FAMILY
-Robert Frost
The rose is a rose,
And was always a rose.
But the theory now goes
That the apple's a rose,
And the pear is, and so's
The plum I suppose.
The dear only knows
What will next prove a rose.
You, of course, are a rose -
But were always a rose.

Haha Target, whooooo. Yeah I worked there from 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM. Whooo. It was actually ok, in a Target kind of way. At first they had me on lane 14, but I was able to get on lane 10, apparently because "Jerry always gets what he wants." Yeah did my time there. Came back to CV after (duh). It's nice to know I still have connections here in my hometown. I went to a few houses to drop off and learn about some stuff for an hour or two, then came home. Great timing because once at home, helped rotate the tires on one of the cars. Hmm should I watch a movie right now or the Emmy Awards? I don't know. Haha crap, I still have to shower and read 30 pages of text, then write a 600 word essay. Bah... my left hand is cut and my right hand is burned, boo.

Bah last night I was really tired and sleepy, but I still couldn't fall asleep right away; weird. All my friends are now either moved or in the process of moving to their college dorms. I'd like to wish them the best, and good luck to all of us.

it turns me round and puts me in a spin
Good Evening
Well I forgot to mention that this morning I woke up from a very bad and freaky dream. No good. Anyways after getting home from the lake I just stayed online and watched some good ol' tv. Ate dinner, then got my hair cut. I saw Changing Lanes, and I thought it was good. It did a swell job on showing human nature at its best, and its worst. Right when I was ready to start sympathizing with one character, he'd do something to change my mind and make me look toward the other one. Good movie. Now I have 30 pages to read, either tonight or tomorrow after work, and a 600 word essay to follow. Of course I don't feel like doing it now, but there's a chance I'm not going to be in the mood tomorrow after work. Oh well, we'll see.
Oh and I'd like to wish everyone who celebrates it a happy moon day.

Real World
Ah woke up around 11:30 today, and an hour later I picked up Nick and Will, along with Kevin to go to Lake Chabot for Tracy's birthday (happy bday). We spent the time there hanging out, eating food, and playing some games. Nice time spent, and the weather was nice. We got home around 4:30. Since then, I've been watching sports and tv. On MTV's Real World, theres some crap about one of the guy roomates liking one of the girl roomates but she ended up hooking up with another male roomate. Haha pretty jacked up stuff. And then that night, the other roomates figure out what's going on and stick a pile of safety tools outside their door for them to use. How thoughtful.

you fall and you crawl and you break
Ahh woke up at the early time of 8:30 AM (see post below). That was not so good. It felt like I was back in the little school (haha those kids). Anyways was out of the house at 9:05 AM, meeting Willy, Tom, and Dave at the Yee household. We then met with Nick, Will and Jhermaine at Doug's Place next to Alberton's for breakfast. Nice little place they got there. Food was served in generous portions, but for the price they charge it better have been. After the food Willy, Nick, Jhermaine and I went to Will's house; they played their games, and I started watching Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (review below). A third of the way through cd 2, it was time to heat out to the movie theater, and there we saw Ballistic:Ecks vs Sever. I don't know about you, but that seemed to be a boring action movie. Most of the action scenes were pretty weak. Oh well, I guess you can't always get a good movie at the theater. After the movie I had to make a quick stop at Target, and there I picked up my paycheck, and had a to fix a timing issue that was going to occur on Sunday. Hopefully that'll turn out fine. I then went to Will's house to finish Attack of the Clones. I must say that it turned out a lot better than Phantom. I can see the complete story line panning out now, such as Anakin's turning to the dark side. However, my favorite subplot must have been the developing feelings between Anakin and Padme (pretend to get hurt! haha). They get married, and she's at least 10 years his senior (yikes). Came home, and didn't do anything worthy since then. I did however get some magazines in the mail today (JLH Rolling Stone, whoo). In YM, there's this quiz asking if you are you optimistic, and there's this drawing of a glass that's filled to the middle (half empty as someone I know would say).
"Why the heck do you have a song about grass (on this cd)?"
It's not about grass =\

the right kind of wrong
Ahh what to write about. Well we're trying to work out our plans for tomorrow, since it's the last day all us arf (no not that animal rights thing at the kiddie school) are going to be in town. Hopfully it'll be a blast. Someone remind me of all the tv shows I have to watch next week. Also, since I finished my romance novel, I'm only left with one other current book to read, so hopefully I'll get around to finishing Animal Farm. The amp install kit I ordered arrived via UPS today, so all I need now is the amp and I'm good to go. I should be getting a price quote on Saturday. I hope the stuff I bought from Target hasn't melted in my trunk.

Finished that wedding video, not bad. Then we took notes on basically the same stuff. After class went to Target to get my brother his headphones, and some other things for myself. Went out to Wendy's for lunch with Jhermaine, Nick, and Will, and we ate I think 45 nuggets between us. We all got some more free stuff for the next time, haha. We then went to the mall, but didn't buy anything. Came back to CV, went to Blockbuster (it's okay, son), and Hollywood Video to rent a game, but nobody had them. No homework until Saturday night now, whoo.

I got greedy and finished the essay. Yay. That was the crappiest good piece of writing I've strung together in a long time. Good morning! [end sarcasm]
“For an answer, he thrust a hand inside the loosened front of her blouse, lightly brushing her warm skin. The sensation was devastating. It was breathtaking, such a deep surge of passion from the mere touch of his fingers. Again her resistance crumbled as her arms went helplessly around his neck. Yearning drove her to get closer and closer, yet, as he pressed her savagely against his body, alarm bells began ringing in Gay’s mind. ‘Please,” she murmured distractedly, as he lowered his mouth to her breasts, ‘Luke, you’d better stop.’ (85)”
“’I’m sorry if you got more than you bargained for,’ he said indifferently, ‘but it was nothing more than a kiss.’ ‘It was hateful!’ Her voice caught on a sob as she glared at him. ‘You’re sure?’ ‘Stop taunting me!’ She brushed a tear from her eye, desperately trying to hide it. ‘Wasn’t it as much your fault?’ he asked derisively, his glance going from her damp cheeks to her torn nightdress. ‘You taunted me with that. I’ll replace it, of course, but the next time come decently attired.’ (74)”
“Luke muttered something thickly and went on kissing her. She tried to push him away, but her mind, as on other occasions, refused to co-operate with her body. He must have been aware as she was of the deep flow of passion between them, because she could feel the rapid thud of his heart, his increasingly difficult breathing, He must be as conscious of the dangerous rise of desire, welding them together, rapidly becoming unmanageable. (156)”
“And, as his head dropped and the light pressure of his mouth on her made her quiver, she doubted if she really wanted to fight him at all. Her traitorous heart beat violently, but it was only when he turned her completely into his arms and began kissing her forcefully that she stirred uneasily. He crushed her mouth with deep, drugging kisses, demanding and receiving an increasing response. Then his breath was rasping in his throat, his desire no longer gentle. (124)”
Look at all that crap I had to go through and deal with the last three days. Now I have to wake up early (I'll give myself 5 hours sleep) and put together some "working notes" (where the essay was supposed to come from, haha).

Here will be the five main points to my essay:
1) humans lie to each other 2) lack of sex 3) their bodys do one thing while their minds say another 4) kissing is the biggest thing 5) something with looking into each others eyes
I'm giving myself until 3:30, then I'm sleeping regardless.

i could be dumb but i'm not blind
English is extremely boring. Took my first ever full semester-class test today. It was for psych, and basically it was all memorization of what the answers were because we already had the questions. I don't think I pulled el perfecto, but I think I still got my A. Went to Wendy's for dinner, while they're having the chicken nugget game piece thing going on. Just buy chicken nuggets for 99 cents, and you get a game piece where you win something everytime. I only won a free biggie upgrade, but Jhermaine got a free game rental from blockbuster and another free chicken nugget thing with purchase. Nice. Then went to precalc, nothing there. Now I have to write another essay, gah. Oh, don't do it Kenji, it's almost illegal.
I hope it hasn't been a bad batch of phenylethylamine lately, and more oxytocin all this time.

I just looked over 6 months worth of archives from late last year / early this year to make sure of and to compare and contrast some things. Reading them, some things seemed really weird; some of the things I did (or didn't do), all the things I used to say, how I used to think, a hefty amount of things are all different now. Strange. While reading posts I get pretty good at pinpointing when certain things started happening. Weird.

it's just a game of love
Haha due to reasons I explained to Athena earlier, I put up the away message and did some hardcore reading for almost two hours. That romance novel of mine is coming along. It's pretty much the same stuff over and over, except just in differen't settings. I'll read more of it tonight, and hopefully get closer to finishing it. I also watched Hart's War this past afternoon. It wasn't bad, good actually, until the ending. It wasn't as grand as I hoped it to be.

I ended up getting a substitute because the Rockford package was out of stock, but it's cool because the guy gave it to me for the same price. Service like that will make me do business with them again.

So I dreamed of singing "stuff like that there", weird. And I drove to class and back without my wallet (license is in the wallet), oh well. In class we spent the whole time watching a movie on marriage - the wedding and the history and all the aspects of such an event. It's so long we didn't even finish it today. Awesome video, though. Some quick facts:
-70 billion dollars are spent by 2.4 million couples a year on anything to do with weddings
-the average cost of a wedding is $20, 000 for a 200 guest affair
-6.7 billion dollars a year is spent on diamond engagement rings, with the average cost being a nice $3, 000 per ring
-june is the most popular month to get married
-the four c's: color, clarity, cut, carat weight (i knew that already)
-red roses symbolize passion, pink roses grace, lilies purity, and orange blossoms fruitfulness
"When the day comes, you better come through."
"You look wonderful."
-"Wonderful for you."

it is always a matter, my darling,
of life or death, as i had forgotten.
i wish what i wished you before, but harder.
English class is so incredibly boring. The teacher talks with a single toned voice, and lectures and laughs to herself only. I almost fell asleep (like those high school kids). Oh well. Peer edit was basically useless, everyone just answers "yes" to all the questions. Went to Costco (as usual) and had a regular pretzel. Those things are crazy huge; don't get one unless you're really hungry. In psych we learned a few new things, and "reviewed" for the test on Wednesday. By review I mean the instructor read us the questions and some of the multiple choice answers, and we have to look up what's correct. Precalc today was probably the most complicated of all days so far. It was someting about finding real zeros by dividing the last terms factors by the first terms then using synthetic division and then some special factoring, or something. Nothing too difficult, but rules to remember nonetheless. I just learned that the sociology essay on the romance novel is due Thursday, and I haven't even read the book yet! Yikes! I'll be going to Target either tomorrow or Thursday after class to buy some clearance things in the back of the stationary section.
Another interesting daily quote from my mailbox:

I finally finished that stupid essay after 547 minutes of editing. I am still bewildered as to why we had to write this particular subject in the manner that was assigned. It's funny how I can blog 800 word blogs, write poetry to express myself to someone or something, analyize something I've read, reflect on an event that's happened, say what I need to say (most of the time), write open commentaries on my thoughts, and not be able to write a descriptive essay about a tree atop a hill basically without using adjectives and adverbs. It was quite presumptuous of me to think I could simply just pump out another masterpiece after not writing anything worthwhile since May. It felt like it was high school all over again, perhaps a tad nostalgia even.

give just a little bit more
SJSU @ Stanford
I woke up yesterday to a sound at 8:30 AM. Or I thought it was a sound. Bah. The whole subconscience / last REM sleep stage type thing could have been involved, I don't know. Eventually I got out of bed at 11:30 AM, and got online around 11:45 or so to find out that most of the guys had gone out to Berkeley. Spent some time online, ate lunch, watched the A's beat the Mariners in a good 1-0 game. Spent some more time online, and pretty soon 4:00 PM came rolling around.
Chester came to my house, and we headed out. We drove down 680 toward San Jose, and eventually got to Cupertino to eat dinner at a place called Yoshinoya, a Japanese food of fast food place. It's a pretty big hit down in socal, but there are only a few in norcal. I ended up drinking too much and not feeling well, so I didn't finish my food. But I did save it for later. We then got on 101 north and were on our way to Stanford to watch the football game. We got there, found our seats, and enjoyed the game. Undoubtedly Stanford beat out SJSU, by a score of 63-26 or something, haha. Great game. We left a tad before 11:00 PM, and I got home around 11:30. Put titles on my Claim Jumper pics, and didn't do much of anything after that. Pictures from the football game are up, but out of 97 pictures, maybe only 17 of them aren't football related, so I'll only title a select few (unless I get motivated to do otherwise). Bah / Ahh I get to work at Target in seven hours.

I was browsing through my hard drive earlier, and I came up memoir that I wrote December 9th, 2000, during junior year. Most people have already read this, but if you haven't feel free to and ask about context if you feel it necessary. Basically this was written back in the days when not all things were as great as they were now.
If anyone I know sometime in their life ever goes (or transfers) to Stanford for eduction, we're going to celebrate it with a meal, on me. This only applies if we're still on jolly terms at time of accomplishment. If I don't give a poop about who you are you get jack, but if I do you might get some dessert. Go Cardinal.

taking the easy way out
Lunch, (Farewell) Dinner
Went back to the good ol' CVHS stomping grounds today. Showed up in the parking lot a tad after 1:00 PM, which was when I was told lunch time was (my brother even called me at 1:04 PM or so to tell me it was lunch time haha). Those high school kids eat late or something, sheez. Fortunately things went as (semi) planned as they were and I met up and took Flora and Athena along with Jon and Perry out to lunch at Subway. My previous thought of no one going to Subway for lunch was proved wrong when another group of CVHS students ended up in front of us. I got myself a six inch honey mustard ham sandwich that wasn't cut in the middle (I'm not even sure if it's supposed to be haha) which later proved to provide for slight misunderstanding on some people's part. Somewhere during that time I lost a friend named Benjamin, but met four new one's in Jackson. Got back to CVHS (on time, of course) and walked the girls to their classes. Ran into Junior Ton, Kenji Yan, and Monsieur Paule Junior while going back to the parking lot.
Went to Tom's house because Rob put on his new rims earlier and was there. Ate my Subway there. Kicked it there a little bit at the Yee household. That Dave guy is pretty funny. Then Rob and I left to go to Will's house. While making the drive there I noticed that Dave was in fact not joking about something (as I thought he would be), oh well. At Will's house I watched Tomb Raider. The movie wasn't that bad... nice action sequences and the correct person played the title role, but the movie lacked any emotional substance. By the time I finished the movie, it was about time to roll out.
The guys started meeting at my house a bit after 5:00 PM. After everyone showed, we piled into two cars and made a quick stop at Willy's house to pick him up. My car was carrying the most weight, with Kevin, Nick, Gerald (yikes!), and Steph. Rob himself was full with Will ^2, Ken, and Jhermaine. All low end torque was nonexistent. We drove to Claim Jumper out in Concord, and got ourselves a number/beeper thing. We were told we'd have to wait about one to two hours, so we had plenty of time to sit around and what not. Some of us walked around the area, noticing the not-yet-opened Krisy Kreme's and Benihana. We went into Trader Joe's, but that just made us more hungry. =\ On the walk back I noticed a fountain; I was going to make a wish but remembered that I left my pennies at home. Noticed that Tom/Louisa and Chester/Tracy had gotten there. For almost two hours, we sat outside and waited for them to be ready for us. The time seemed to pass pretty quickly though, so that was pretty good. Good def jam comedy passed us the time.
Ah yes, around 8:15 we finally got in. We sat down in our 7 by 2 formation, feeling a great lust for food. Everyone ordered their drinks, and our third of the table ordered barbecue pork quesadillas as an appetizer, while Gerald got himself some fried calamari. Ok forget this weak stuff, time to move onto something strong. The name of the game was meat. I'm not sure how many animals we consumed, but it wasn't plenty. Everyone (well the guys at least) got either a 24 ounch prime rib, or a plate stacked with ribs. Quite savage if I say so myself. Nobody who ordered the Ore Carts (like 3 different types of ribs plus chicken) managed to finish their complete portion, even when the nice (for once) waitress offered to give us some free dessert, haha. I myself ordered the prime rib, but ended up trading a third of it with the rib guys. Apparently Kenji thought dinner was going to be some sort of McDonald's-type affair or something, and ended up eating the least out of everyone. For some reason still unbeknownst to me, he ate the baked potato instead of his meat, *shrug*. And thanks to the superfluous amount of food, def jam during the meal was kept to a minimum, yay. Overall the food was good, and worth the wait. Total was $434, which considering all the animals that said bye bye because of us, wasn't bad. I myself ate away a four and a half our day's worth of work at Target, but oh well. Half of the original arf screw is splitting up soon, so it was well worth it. Pictures (with captions, of course) of the great feast will be up tomorrow sometime.
"I'm a goody-goody."
Compliments of voice notes technology (because my short term memory is lacking):
"We got the whole lineup."
"He's good with the guys but horrible with the girls."
"You can't teach someone something that they don't have."
Ouch you know it's bad when Kenji starts getting in free shots. =/
Interesting quote (which I get daily in my mailbox) of note:

isn't this world a crazy place?
Day Off
Woke up and sat around. Got some lunch because I didn't feel like staying on the computer for a while. Went to Nick's house, meeting Will ^2 and Rob. We went to the mall, and Nick and Rob got shoes and I got a book, The Rescue by Nicholas Sparks. I knew after reading A Walk To Remember I'd read another of his pieces. Eventually I'll get around to this one. After coming back from the mall we stood out front Nick's house and talked about a few things before parting ways. I borrowed Rob's UCI general catalogue to help me decide on a new major; I'm still weighing my choices. Didn't get too much homework done today.
I also ordered this Rockford Fosgate amp install kit earlier today, should come in Tuesday or Wednesday. All I need now is the amp haha. I'm thinking of getting the Bazooka El 2150 right now.

Aim+ with Aim 5.0
Like I said below, it's bugged. I went back to an earlier version of aim (4.7, the most "current" version I could find other than 5.0) and everything works fine now. Remind me to re download aim+ when they fix it. This good mess cost me 30 minutes of sleep. Good night.

Aim+ does not work with aim 5.0. =\ Hmm that's probably why message windows aren't clearing like they're supposed to.
Update: It's bugged. Doesn't save history in the right folder. It just creates either new files or new folders in the wrong directories. Weak stuff.

Start Of Long Weekend
The english book is actually alright. Teacher gave us some thirty minutes of free reading time, and I read half of what I was to have done (around 28 of 53 pages). Some people just got up and left when she said she was giving free time, haha I guess that's college. Went to Costco, all the samples were being made or prepared. Nothing was ready! The only thing ready were 7-up samples. I wonder what those taste like. I got myself a Vanilla yogurt. Came in a big cup and was extra rich or something. Couldn't finish it and gave me a stomach ache. TNG season 4 dvd was 90 dollars, way too much for me. Went back to LPC library, did some stuff, did a little psych reading then went to class. Instructor was saying our generation is getting screwed because we're getting less drugs for more money, haha. Went back to library, turns out you can bypass the whole security login system haha. I guess the program author wasn't so smart afterall. Went to precalc, learned how to divide polynomials, pretty useless stuff. No class tomorrow (reason unknown). I'm getting the voices on both shoulders again. One's telling me to stay home and read/do homework, the other is telling me to go out and blow off a chunk of change. I guess this is the kind of stuff that happens when... nvm. Four day weekend, we'll see how things turn out later. Indeed we will.

Class, Books
Socialogy was pretty cool today. Started off with a lecture on gay and lesbian courtship. Then moved onto socialogical research on love. Apparently even though we watch sappy / chick flick type movies, love is not random because everyone has their pool of eligibles. Basically out of 6 billion people on this planet, < 1 million people are those who can actually be considered "potentials." A nice littel fyi, I suppose. Sometime in that period we learned that there would be no class on Thursdy, yay. I guess I'll use that day to do some work or something. After class I picked up Will and we went to Grey Wolf Books in San Leandro. Ghetto. That place is literally a shack (well, 3 shacks put together). Big plastic bins with books out front greeted us on our way in. As soon as we went indoors, we were bombarded with loads of loads of books on homemade shelves. There are hecka books there, sorted by genre and theme, I suppose. Other than that you're on your own as for looking for certain things. It's pretty dirty in there, with plastic baskets (that you see grocery stores store milk with in the back) to use as steps and spider webs over the walls and books on the bottom shelves. We made a few laps, but I eventually got At First Glance, my romance novel for my socialogy class. Apparently the female protagonist name is Gay. I then got Animal Farm in paperback. What a janky book. The cover has a janky pig on it, nothing like the one on the hardcover version. Poor porker. I paid 75 cents and $4.95, respectively. If you go back a week later and buy the same book, they'd probably charge you a different price (if there's no price written in the book). Janky, but nontheless still cheap. They bagged my books in a brown paper bag. Yikes. The best thing they have to show for is their business card... it's nice looking.
A nice little definition from the socialogy class, according to the transtheoretical methord (whatever that is):
contemplation - the person is aware that change is desirable but is not commited to take action; focuses on why it is difficult to make the change
Something interesting the instructor said:
"In the last 13 years of teaching college, students have gone through many things. Death, pregancy, accidents, mostly anything bad that can happen has happened, but they get through it. The only thing that gives me shivers is when they come into my office and say "I'm in love." "

Book Shopping, LPC
Got plenty of sleep last night. Slept earlier than 1:30 AM and woke up at 10:30, nice. Played a W3 game with Nick, then ate lunch. Jhermaine came and we left around 12:30 to go book shopping. We both didn't feel like going to San Leandro to go to Grey Wolf Books if they didn't even have the books, so we stopped at Nick's to use his phone (haha thanks). Called them up, turns out they have no computer catalog haha. Lady on the phone said there's a chance they could have them, so we'll go there after class tomorrow. First book we needed, the 10th edition of The Norton Reader and something called Hateship, Friendship, Courtship, Loveship, Marriage: Stories for our english 1a class. We first went to Barnes & Noble, and bought the latter for $24.00 plus tax. Then we went to Borders, and it was the same price there so didn't buy it again, obviously. It turns out the first book is no longer being published, so we had to buy that sucker from LPC for $45. Boo. Close to $75 for books, ouch.
Class was class. For some reason, and I'm not sure if it's the instructor or my lack of english skills, but that class is horrible. Nobody has done any of that sentence structure stuff since middle school, and anyhting else we haven't learned at all (at least not in any of the high school classes I took). Going through books is the only good thing, though, because the reading and analyzing makes me sorta want to start reading again. Psych was cool, as usual. We had a lecture/discussion about some rather interesting stuff about how the brain relates to the mind which relates to our behavior; how each affects the other. We then got into groups and talked about what influence our minds, what controls them, and what role emotions play. Not bad of a day. Precalc we went over something known as one to one functions, and after a whole bunch of garbage turns out to just be the horizontal line test, gosh. But I suppose with no calculators (easy way to graph), it is slightly more difficult.
"Be a nurse / lawyer / trash man / cargo pilot / comedian."
Thanks, but I don't think so.

you wont know unless you give it a try
Sunday = work at Target, and that I did. Shift started 10:15 AM, got there a little late (duh). I go to check lane assignments, and I see the lane number crossed out and instead replaced with some word that later I found said "carts." Those punks. The thing is, they originally scheduled me for lane 14! The highest number, again! Oh well, so carts I did. Got in my free exercise, I suppose. Doing that did gave me chapped lips, so I bought myself a flavored chap stick (ask for the flavor) which tasted kinda weird, but pleasant, I suppose. During my break I borrowed and read a little bit of Animal Farm, and so far it's hilarious. It is my hope that one way or another I will finish that book. They finally let me plop down at lane 4 for my last hour, so no work there. Good day because I got the exercise and got to continue my reign as cashier supreme. I walked out of Target with a new mouse (msft intellimouse explorer 3.0), and two purple bass lights (like the one's already in my car) on cheap clearance. Nice day, I guess. There goes my next paycheck. After work went to Office Depot to return the old mouse, that's about it. I was going to call up Jhermaine and go to Grey Wolf Books, but they're not open on Sundays! Weaksauce. Played games, did no homework (though I don't think I had any), watched the A's game a bit. I went to Willy's to get back my camera and some other stuff and to drop off some of his things. Made a quick detour to the top of the hill, came back home. Yeah, that's my day.

Wasted Day
I snoozed the 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM hour, then finally woke up, and got some lunch. Sat around, did exactly zero in productive things. Played games, watched some TV. I was going watch a movie, but the DVD player never cleared during the day. Oh well. Wasted day. Night time was the same. Tomorrow I have to work, we'll see how that goes now, wont we?

i can't be sleeping here inside my dream
LPC, J-Town, Oakland Pier
Bah, missed the 12:00 AM deadline, that's a streak now. Woke up yesterday kinda early around 10:00 AM. Jhermaine came by around 10:40 or so and we headed out to LPC (on a Friday!) to see the transfer counselor to go over some student education plans (SEP). Jhermaine went first, so I sat and walked around for a bit. Then it was my turn. It pretty much looks like I'm screwed. 20 units next semester, some summer sessions, gonna be hellish. Looks like I'm gonna have anywhere from high 70s to low 80s in units, when the UC cutoff to transfer is 80. Gonna have to look into that. Also, she suggested that I strongly consider staying at LPC at least another half a year, maybe even a year. What the heck? Under current situations, that would totally suck. I already don't like it there, and I might have to stay longer now? Ugly. Jhermaine then dropped me off at Best Buy. My family ate some Black Angus for lunch, and I had a prime rib. It wasn't as good as the last time I had it, but it was still alright. I then went to Office Depot to buy a mouse, and that I did. After a coupon or two, it costed 35 dollars, rounded. Good deal, I thought. I then went to Target so I could check some schedules. I look at the mouse I just bought, normally 45 dollars, I see for 31 at Target on clearance, weaksauce. Gonna be returning it at Office Depot and buying it at Target, if it's still there. Oh well.
Ah yes, right after picking Kevin up from CVHS and getting home, I almost just as quick headed back out. I changed, then as soon as I got Rob, Jhermaine, Willy, and Will, we started our journey to Japan Town in the city. It's been hecka long since I've been there. We basically just walked around, as there wasn't much to do there. We found some crepe place, and they were hecka good! I myself got a kiwi and whipped cream masterpiece, not bad at all. I looked around all the stores with stuffed animals and the like, and though I saw some real cool (and cute) stuff, I did not see a Domokun! What the heck!? I thought that sucker was popular or something, to bad. After walking around a bit, we left.
We then drove toward's Oakland to go to the restaurant for Willy's bday. What an interesting ride. I think for the first time ever, Willy was lost and did not know where we were going. He kept saying we had to cross a bridge and yadayada. We went back and forth between Oakland and Alameda at least 3 times. Mofo. At least we finally got there. Good food there. I myself had a seafood pasta. Nineteen of us were there, and it was a good time spent celebrating Willy's day. The ride home again was interesting. My car was the last one out of the lot, and only by about 30 seconds at most. I get right on the freeway, at a undisclosed speed, trying to catch up with the other cars, who I guess for the most part were driving just as fast. After getting into San Leandro, I finally catch up and pass Gerald. He was done with. Finally getting back into Hayward and 238, I caught up to WIlly, my real target. We speed up a little more, and finally get on 580. I move to pass him at another undisclosed speed, and I finally do. I stay ahead of him for a while, and while doing this I set myself a new high speed record (ask me if you really want to know), though that's not probably the safest or smartest thing to do. I then slow down because I think he's had enough, but then out of no where he comes up and zooms by for a fly by, resulting in him getting off the freeway first (I later hear he went faster than my record I just set). We make a right off the exit at Center Street, and I get in one of the left turn lanes, thinking we're gonna make this fair and go off the line. But Willy, citing mental advantage, instead goes straight and ends up making an illegal u-turn around the center divider. I thought fine, I'd just catch up with the green coming up soon, but no, I had to stop halfway into the intersection and miss the sensor and the light rotation. Bah. The guy cheats, so I lose. It would have been a good run too. Oh well next time. Now some of us are here at his house. But enough of that, I'm pretty tired. I already fell asleep once earlier.
Happy bday Dailo.

Family and Marriage yesterday. Learned the difference in affect of socialization on men and women. Basically, to women, love is shown through actions, while in men, love is shown through sexual acts. That class is pretty interesting. People in there talk about all this stuff that I either lack experience in, or simply I just have no idea what the heck they're talking about. Anyways got out of there, went to Target cuz Will had to get a bike for Davis. I bought some personal hygiene stuff, rip-offed at 10 dollars though. Saw Quinn for the first time in a long while, said hi. We then went to the mall and got some stuff to eat. I don't remember buying anything. Came home, didn't do much of... much. The CS Militia movie is pretty good, but everyone dies. =\ Also it makes CT/SWAT people look really stupid. I hope in real life they aren't that bad haha. I mean getting knifed from the back and losing gunshots. Then watched USA basketball lose 2 in a row. What the heck!? This is USA bball we're talking about here. But I guess that's what happens when you have All-Star's playing instead of superstars =\ If they don't make olympics I'll be pretty upset. Then I saw the Giants lose to the D'backs. Oh well, A's all the way. I just transferred a hundred or two megs of data in the last hour or two. Hopefully my connect wont slow or something.

LPC Three Hours Longer
Started english 1a today. Class starts at 2:30 and goes to 4:05, so Jhermaine and I have to leave something like three hours earlier than we did for the last two weeks. =\ That class is ehhhh. The teacher seems whack, like she doesn't like teaching or something. She has no personality, and didn't even tell us what her name was. However, the material today in class was rather interesting, as we read an essay on the life of one Ernest Hemingway. We discussed his writing style, and his wishes to have certain materials published or not and the problems in his life, and the differerence between simply writing a paper and making and shaping a complete work. (that last sentence was an attempt to mimic his style, but not like you care) After class we went to Costco. We basically went up and down the left aisle grabbing free samples of stuff, haha. Highlights included a beef stew and some sort of latte/coffee thing. We were still hungry, so Jhermaine got a polish dog and I a cheese pretzel the size of my face. We then went back the the LPC library (like we always do) to sit around. I did some homework for precalc, but not before getting online (there's some new login system now, I thought I did something bad or something) and checking and writing some email. Psych sounded like it was getting difficult, but after class in the library (haha library again) I actually read the book some (wow) and it made sense haha. Precalc went by quick, as the instructor let us out at 8:45 haha. Came home watched both American Idol and the A's game. Man that A's game was a real nail biter! What's with giving up a 11-0 lead? I think the A's need to beef up their bullpen, they give up too many runs, so the starters aren't getting their wins. At least the team won, I suppose. As for American Idol, glad to see that my 3 votes helped Kelly win. I can hardly wait for the actual release of the single on CD, so I can get rid of these janky sounding tv rips. Good night.
Beer Kid
Haha a pretty funny video about a kid having a beer stand.

Tom has to read and analyize this poem for his english class, so I decided to read it, and I kinda liked it. Without further adeiu, here it is:
The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock (T.S. Eliot)
And would it have been worth it, after all,
Would it have been worth while,     100
After the sunsets and the dooryards and the sprinkled streets,
After the novels, after the teacups, after the skirts that trail along the floor—
And this, and so much more?—
It is impossible to say just what I mean!
But as if a magic lantern threw the nerves in patterns on a screen:     105
Would it have been worth while
If one, settling a pillow or throwing off a shawl,
And turning toward the window, should say:
“That is not it at all,
That is not what I meant, at all.”

i don't know how, and i don't know why
I went to class today. Marriage and Family. Today's lecture covered the history of dating. To start things off, we got into groups and had to list the things we look for in potential dates and things we look for in potential mates. As someone pointed out to me, the items in the first list should already be part of the latter. Then the instructor talked about how marriage in the past was basically practiced for economic reasons, and that love was the result of living together and having children, versus today's view, where it is a precursor for marriage. Also discussed were the ideas of romance and intimacy and first dates. It was pretty interesting, but it did somewhat put me to sleep.
I went back to good ol' CVHS today. That place sucks. Driving there, a short trip to office, and driving back = 1 hour. What are those people thinking. Traffic there is horrible. I sat in one spot for 10 minutes in back of the senior lot. And then you have those who must honk their horns and insist that it actually will improve the flow of traffic. Also, what's with a quarter of the school being blocked off or under construction. Janky, that's what it is. Later during the day, I mostly played games (bah), and w atched some US Open tennis and USA basketball beat New Zealand. Then I watched American Idol at night. Though she sings better, there are probably more girls that like the guy then guys who like the girl. I'm sticking with Kelly. I already put in two (hopefully three later) votes for her. Go do the same.

what is this power that you have over me?
Tired As A Mofo
Haha so this window has been open for at least an hour, with nothing but the lyric. I suppose I'll fill in the white box now. I set the alarm clock for 10:15 AM, but I didn't get out of bed till 11:00 or so, considering I slept at 5:00 AM, for no apparent reason at all. I sat around for half an hour, trying to really wake up. Finally I got a move on around 11:30. Got to Chris W's house around 12:00. He was having a brunch type thing for his birthday, and just to hang out. It was nice hanging out and just chillen around. I stayed till 3:00 or so. I was at home watching the A's game when Rob and Dave showed up at my house, so they came in. I mostly just watched the game and played some CS (another good map), till it was 5:30 when we went to Gerald's house to check out and test drive his Civic SI. We drove around Palomares (Pineville, haha. Swear that street gets too much traffic lol). We went to Jensen Ranch, but apparently some dad was teaching his noob daugther how to drive a car or something, LOL. Oh well, so we drove around town a bit, and eventually went back to Gerald's house, where we spent a good half hour or so just hanging out. I swear every ten minutes Willy would either slap me or kick my chair. And to add insult to injury, he was saying something negative or making a joke out of me every half a minute or something. Boo =\. I'm gonna try to sleep before 2:00 today... I'm dead tired, have class at 12:30 PM, and just cuz I should.
I swear there were a load of good lines, but a few. The following are all compliment's of TonDogg / Dailo / Willy himself.
"Without def jam, you'd be feeling a lot worse right now."
"You're just like [removed to protect the weak] sometimes, but you're better at hiding it."
"I'm not a mind reader, I'm a heart reader"
HAHA LOL! But now that I think about it, this is one pretty smart guy. He's called a few things correct.
How To Drive A RWD Vehicle.
These guys are good. Thanks to Ken (who can't drive),

wonderful, it's fate
Sucky To Good Day
Yep the time is correct tonight. I woke up at 10:00 yesterday morning to go to work, and work I went. Borrring. I was scheduled 11:00 AM - 3:15 PM, but they failed to schedule me somewhere. The camera and sound person ended up not showing up on time, so they asked me to fill in. Boy, time passes by soo slowly there. There's very little work, but I can't stand the pace back there. I did a little zoning here and there, and during break I bought a 75 cent soda! Ahhh. For the last thirty minutes of my shift, I pushed some toilet paper, and other assorted stuff like that. Bahh. And then the old guy tells me I was putting stuff up wrong. Something about not having the right number of faces showing. Man, in such a disorganized section as HBA, there's no point in organizing too well because guests just throw crap around anyways. Get out. Sometime Chester and his family came in to buy some stuff, so I hanged with them for a while, before coming home. On the drive home I indeed confirmed that in fact Willy did not run over the poor squirrel from the night before. I then sat around in my chair for a while (as expected) and spent some time online chatting.
Due to my savage-like driving, it was time to rotate my tires, so my dad and I did. After doing so, I saw David come out of Ken's house, so he came over for a while and we chilled for a bit. We then drove around Palomares, around Pineville a few times (of course) and through the newer townhouses. Eventually we went to Ryan's house to check out his RX7. Nice car. There I bought the box for my sub, at a nice price. All I need now is an amp and wiring kid. Hopefully I'll get out for ~$125. I then returned home to eat dinner.
A lot of people were at Nick's house, so we (me, Tom, Will, Rob, Jhermaine, Kevin, Greg, Gareth, Dave) decided to go to Boomer's (the old Camelot). For some stupid reason, they closed early and we only stayed for an hour. Games I played included bball, Silent Scope 2, SF Rush 2xxx, Jurassic Park, and DDR. Oh yeah, we figured out a way to get mucho tickets playing ski-ball. LOL. Seven more coins and we would have hit my ticket goal of 900 (for this really awesome prize I wanted to trade in for). I ended up with 209, so I was deficient by a count of 691. Eventually, it will happen. I did however, did find a ski-ball on the floor, so I took it as a momento of our new found discovery of how to play the game. During the drive out of the lot, Nick swears some girl in a blue SUV waved at me. I wasn't paying attention.
We decided to then play some billiards. First we drove to Hayward, to go to Shooter's, but when we drove by we saw a whole bunch of ghetto's posting outside, so we decided not to go there haha. We then drove back to CV, where we went to the billiards hall on the boulevard. Greg, Gareth, Dave, and Rob played some table tennis, while Jhermaine / Tom, Nick / Will, Kevin / I played some pool. The first game between the first two aforementioned teams took forever, but eventually Kevin and I got on. Those mofo's had to close to, so we only got one game in, boo. Oh well. After the pool hall we went to Safeway, where some of us got drinks. I was in the slowest line, I swear. The cashier was slow and clumsy (like some at Target, kinda), and the customer wasn't all together, if you know what I mean. We did however, see a brand new dark blue (the shade I like) BMW M3 in the parking lot. That car rocked, but too bad it's three female occupants did not. I was drooling over the car, definately not the crew (wo)manning it.
Now the drive home was interesting. As if it were a sign, right after we pull out of the parking lot, we see two CHP units speed and screech up the street with their lights flashing. For a large portion of time driving back into Palomares, the drive was pretty tame between Dave and I. Around Right-Aid / Center Street, 40+ mph, not too bad. Coming down the long stretch before Crow Canyon, however, I knew it was on. Pull up to the red light, right next to each other. No cars in sight. Anticipate the green... it comes. Drop the clutch from 2500 rpm, not too bad of a launch. Dave dropped it high enough to spin the wheels. Right off line, we're even, his light car is saving him. Halfway up the street before the freeway exit before PW, I'm slightly ahead. The bigger everything has his advantages. By the time we cross the freeway exit and I'm in 2nd gear, somewhere in the mid range power band, I pulled ahead. It's over, he's done. The guy gave up by the time we got to PW. Not even that fast, maybe 50 mph or so at most. Alright so we creep up the street toward Jensen Road. We're rolling to the stop, but I know he wants to go again, but this time we're still rolling, so I have to launch from second (he probably did the same). It was closer this time, but again he can't keep up. A little faster this time, topping out around 70 mph, but not for too long. That's 2 of 2 me, 0-2 him. Owned. We get to Nick's house, and Dave is forced to eat it up. He claims to have missed a shift. Okay I believe you, this time. It does happen, I've experienced it.
Alright we're at Nick's house now. By now Greg and Gareth have left. A little while earlier Will and Jhermaine leave. Mostly everyone else takes turn playing Mario Sunshine, haha. Man that Mario character is funny. Belly diving, his laugh, and his nose... LOL. All while everyone talks various things. Okay maybe not so various. You get the idea. It was a pretty good time. Nick's rabbit had to go to the bathroom every ten minutes or something, and his bird tried to break out of it's cage. The last of us left around 2:45 AM or so. So since then, I've sat around. Oh during my inactivity, Kevin opens his blinds and tells me to do the same. I do, and a pleasant surprise was outside. Turns out a family (of deer) was out for a stroll. How very nice it was. I just hope they didn't leave any crap (literally) in my front yard. In some places it stinks out there. I tried to take some pics, but alas, auto ISO 300 max is not match for night time shots. Oh well. I should sleep now, and wake up in six hours or so. If you ask me what I did the last 1.5 hours, and I wont know. This sucker took 30 minutes to type, and semi-proofread.
"It can't be that easy."
"For once, I think I'll have to agree with David."
-"I know half the people at Chabot."
- "That's cuz you been there a long time.
-"I've only been there one year."
- "Well when you're only there for two max, one is a long time.
"Don't give me that best friend garbage. You only need one best friend. I don't need ten."
Good morning!
